Who repairs not his gutter repairs his whole house.

Dying of non-expression
discuss me flat
carpets and a doormat
fill me fridge
buy me chairs
fix all repairs
love me so much
take me to lunch
let me get it straight
i am not great
not grateful at all
regardless of chairs
repairs and all the cares
when my hosts are gone
i just want to be alone
guess i'm my best
household guest
deep in the night
turning on the light
and finally begin
to write

The old Watch Maker in my schooldays
One day I took my Grandpa's 'Damas' pocket watch for repairs
As he complains it goes ten minutes faster and he doesn't want to die soon!
I call him uncle who does watch repairs in his cubicle in the shopping complex.
When I entered I saw he's watching the Sun a long time
And laughed continuously.
I asked; 'What's wrong with you uncle? '
Then he started the story;
'You must know this sonny, I was really amazed of my next door spinster those days and she's in her naughty forties!
You cannot see her blue eyes straight away a minute
And you feel like burning inside yourself.
You know what happened at last?
My wife put up a parapet wall but ten feet high from her father's pension
As I was unemployed.
Afterwards she has moved to another place and I heard no more.'

Dumping Many Buckets
A building done,
With no retraint...
Peels the paint.
And cracks the stairs.
And those staring in despair,
Are not there to tile the roof.
When all moved in...
Everything 'appeared'...
To glisten with gloss and be good as new.
Now they are inside,
Dumping out the buckets...
From a dripping done,
Through the roof.
Yes...
Now they're inside,
Dumping many buckets...
With the hope their home stays status proof!
Nobody cares about repairs!
No one aware of repairs is prepared.
And those staring in despair,
Are not there to tile the roof.
When all moved in...
Everything 'appeared'...
To glisten with gloss and be good as new.
A building done,
With no retraint...
Peels the paint.
And cracks the stairs.
Nobody cares about repairs!
No one aware of repairs is prepared.
Now they're inside,
Dumping out the buckets...
From a dripping done,
Through the roof.
Yes...
Now they're inside,
Dumping many buckets...
With the hope their home stays status proof!
Now they're inside,
Dumping many buckets...
With the hope their home stays status proof!
And with a crying sigh,
Dumping many buckets...
With the hope their home stays status proof!
No one has driven by,
Watching them dump buckets...
And pretending there's no leaking from their roof

To A Woman Who Wants To Write To Be Someone Else
hello don't be someone else
listen to your voice
do not borrow their tone
take your intensity
just be yourself
listen everyday to the
sound of your soul
it will always have something
to say to you
why wait for his door to open?
you have your house
its door is broken
and it will just be you
doing the repairs
it will just be you and no other
listen some more
hear the harkings of your soul
now it is whispering

Heart
How much can you do
With a breaking heart?
You can only do so much
Till your heart
Breaks into pieces…
And repairs no more.

It's probably fair to say that Obama's ideas were too big for America's appetite. It would have been nice had he made a few incremental repairs to the economy and left the transformative events for a less stressful time.

When One Door Closes Another Opens
She sold her house in outer suburbia where she had lived for many years
And she know that in months from now she will recall through the tears
The happy times she spent there when her children were young
There they laughed and played together and their nursery rhymes they sung.
The old home to be demolished never to be seen again
And of a thing of beauty only memories will remain
To make room for a car park something ugly in it's place
And the landscape will look uglier without one familiar face.
To get rid of her huge mortgage the one reason why she sold
And the house in need of repairs as most timber houses do when old
So she felt obliged to sell and to buy a cheaper house elsewhere
But she will recall her old home and the good times she had there.
When one door closes another opens this so happens to be true
And she will settle in her new home and find happiness there too
Still the old timber house on Bayview Road in her memory will remain
And in her dreams she will be visiting her erstwhile friends again.

Auto STOP
she is so fast
in walking,
bathing and dressing
within minutes -
she stands in front
in neat, simple
grand unique style
she is still fast
in cooking
a variety of
palatable dishes -
ready within minutes
steaming hot
and rich in aroma -
a rare gifted touch
she is again fast
in her routine chores -
house-setting and neatness
arrangements and upkeep -
her imaginations
in presenting a tangible
wild dream house
AND
she is thus fast and...... lost
to a man whom
she believed outright
in her usual quick fire-shots
against parental out-bursts.....
now,
beyond all repairs
poor mom
is weeping in private
..............with all her fastness
ABRUPTLY STOPPED.

Death Threats
You're threatening my life?
Because I won't give you my money for taking care of my mother.
Let me understand this right.
You owe taxes on the house your currently staying.
You owe money to the V.A. acquired for her.
You receive 1100 a month in her pension.
You married my sister
You make 25 an hour, and your wife make 34 an hour.
You already drained all our mothers saving accounts.
You took everything out of my moms house and sold it..
How dare you.
I'm losing my house and already lost my mothers.
No thanks to your kids.
Who did so much damage to hers.
That I went bankrupt in all the repairs.
Yet you still believe I owe you more.
I am her power of attorney, that doesn't mean I have to work for you..
If you think I have a check ready and waiting.
You are sadly mistaken.
If you come to my house be prepared to leave abruptly by the sound of gun fire.
Your children even hate you.
You made them your slaves by the giving them the abuse you so craved.
My mother took pictures which really pissed off my sister.
Always on the drugs, how do you think it will look if you come to my house high making death threats.
Do you think that is something I will regret?
But don't fret its only a lean.
Till debts are repaid.
Oh I'm just letting you know I'm not afraid.

Soldier's Dream
I dreamed kind Jesus fouled the big-gun gears;
And caused a permanent stoppage in all bolts;
And buckled with a smile Mausers and Colts;
And rusted every bayonet with His tears.
And there were no more bombs, of ours or Theirs,
Not even an old flint-lock, not even a pikel.
But God was vexed, and gave all power to Michael;
And when I woke he'd seen to our repairs.

Returning to Port
This ship is
weary
from a long
voyage at sea.
The storms of
life
have bashed
against the
mask
Ripping it to
shreds
only shreds
remain.
Bathing in the
rain
churning against
the bow
tearing at the
interior.
Almost
destroying
the contents
the journey
so difficult.
Now she must
return
to the port
for repairs.

Song (Did you see me walking by the Buick Repairs?)
Did you see me walking by the Buick Repairs?
I was thinking of you
having a Coke in the heat it was your face
I saw on the movie magazine, no it was Fabian's
I was thinking of you
and down at the railroad tracks where the station
has mysteriously disappeared
I was thinking of you
as the bus pulled away in the twilight
I was thinking of you
and right now

Relentless Doing
Relentless expression of doing,
The gods do not want you with destruction,
Rather it is irresistible to break the bonds
Seated near to the heart, and to let the disease
Overcome love itself, so there is no defence.
In excess of damages your strike is doing
A wiping of the heart, as if shadows of the heart
Are making repair, the repairs are manifold.
I, healer, am against your doing of the gods,
And doom may result when it is desired.
