Too Many Cooks In The Kitchen
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Theres too many minds on the job
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Everybody wants a piece of the action
Cooking the books and getting their fractions wrong
What we need is law and order
Everybody knows
Cant have chiefs without the injuns
Stepping on their toes
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Theres too many daps in the pie
Theres too many cooks in the kitchen
Everybody needs a place in the rat race
Playing games of power, its only a cat chase
Too many too many too many etc.

Strange Brew
By eric clapton, gail collins and felix pappalardi
Strange brew -- kill whats inside of you.
Shes a witch of trouble in electric blue,
In her own mad mind shes in love with you.
With you.
Now what you gonna do?
Strange brew -- kill whats inside of you.
Shes some kind of demon messing in the glue.
If you dont watch out itll stick to you.
To you.
What kind of fool are you?
Strange brew -- kill whats inside of you.
On a boat in the middle of a raging sea,
She would make a scene for it all to be
Ignored.
And wouldnt you be bored?
Strange brew -- kill whats inside of you.
Strange brew, strange brew, strange brew, strange brew.
Strange brew -- kill whats inside of you.

The Grand British Brew
I declare unto you there's a brew that is true,
Golden brown until we make it white;
It's drunk in the morning, it's drunk after noon,
In the evening, and also at night.
The procedure to make this infusion
Is quite ceremonial in China;
But this king of all drinks well deserves it,
To be honest there's just nothing finer.
Some take it with milk, some take it without,
Then the question is: 'One lump or two? '
But whatever the colour or sweetness of taste,
You can't beat The Grand British Brew.
If your preference is for the Darjeeling,
Earl grey or 'P.G.' or 'Typhoo, '
It makes not a farthing of difference,
You're choosing The Grand British Brew.
Now the yankees would drown us in coffee,
The fed's, in their wisdom, would too;
But that bean is a poor substitution
For the leaf in The Grand British Brew.
I've tried every other refreshment
That the world has to offer to me,
But I find myself always returning
To the brew that is true: to my tea.

The Bully
S.S. Bernardo traveled the seas-
Oh so high and mighty-he preened-
His long dark curly locks were blowing...
At last, his true character has been seen! ;
Oh-it took so many years...!
As Betty tried desperately to cover his course-
But its been said that too many cooks oft' spoil the brew-
At last-a break in this malevolent force! ;
S.S. Bernardo came calling...
'Cross thirty years or more of deep-deep seas...
Ever vowing to keep that promise he'd made...
Back in the days of a much quieter breeze;
He promised to drive much less unruly...
In order to view my eyes emerald green hue...
He is still stuck on the belief that i am in debt to him...! ! !
Oh Lordy-if he only knew the hell i've been through! ;
S.S. promised me cans and cans of Spam...!
On that promise hes kept his malicious word...
But with all of this old evidence mounting! ! !
Me thinks, soon his voice will no longer be heard! ;
When is enough-enough S.S.?
You seem to love running it into the ground...
Are you really still the tiny malicious old man people talk about?
Are you really as vile as you still sound? ;
A bully whos cowardice is showing...!
Threatning the younger-smaller- that you have taken in-
Have you no shame in your soul whatsoever S.S.?
Don't you know that in Gods world-evil-it never wins?

Dead Ringer For Love (feat. Meat Loaf)
Meat Loaf feat. Cher - Dead Ringer For Love
Meatloaf: Every night I grab some money and I go down to the bar
I got my buddies and a beer, I got a dream, I need a car
You got me begging on my knees, c'mon and throw the dog a bone
A man he doesn't live by rock 'n roll and brew alone
Baby baby, baby baby
Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
They don't mean a thing when I compare 'em next to you
Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
I know that you and I we got better things to do
I don't know who you are or what you do, or where you go when you're not around
I don't know anything about you baby, but you're everything I'm dreaming of
I don't know who you are, but you're a real dead ringer for love
A real dead ringer for love
Cher: Ever since I can remember you been hanging 'round this joint
You been trying to look away but now you finally got the point
I don't have to know your name and I won't tell you what to do
But a girl she doesn't live by only rock 'n roll and brew
Baby baby, baby baby
Cher and Meatloaf: Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
They don't mean a thing when I compare 'em next to you
Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
I know that you and I we got better things to do
I don't know who you are or what you do, or where you go when you're not around
I don't know anything about you baby, but you're everything I'm dreaming of
I don't know who you are, but you're a real dead ringer for love
A real dead ringer for love
Meatloaf: Ooh you got the kind of legs that do more than walk
Cher: I don't have to listen to your whimpering talk
Meatloaf: Listen you got the kind of eyes that do more than see
Cher: You got a lotta nerve to come on to me
Meatloaf: You got the kind of lips that do more than drink
Cher:You got the kind of mind that does less than think
But since I'm feeling kinda lonely and my defenses are low
Why don't we give it a shot and get it ready to go
I'm looking for anonymous and fleeting satisfaction
I want to tell my daddy I'll be missing in action
Ever since I can remember I've been hanging 'round this joint
My daddy never noticed, now he'll finally get the point
Meatloaf: You got me beggin' on my knees, c'mon and throw the dog a bone
A man he doesn't live by rock 'n roll and brew alone
Baby baby, baby, baby
Cher and Meatloaf: Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
I know that you and I we got better things to do
Rock 'n roll and brew, rock 'n roll and brew
They don?t mean a thing when I compare ?em next to you
I don't know who you are or what you do, or where you go when you're not around
I don't know anything about you baby, but you're everything I'm dreaming of

Bitchs Brew
I tell ya kinky
You foxy little flirt
I caught you in the biar path
Liftin up your skirt
Well let me tell ya
What you been doin in the firepatch
What you been doin with your little skirt
Got....
Youve been foolin with the bitchs brew
You know the things I told you not to do
You fell into the briar patch
Aint nothing gonna save your ass
Remember the things you said
The saving and the screams for bread
And now you just walked away
So take it away, all the way
Youre fooling with the bitchs brew
That aint the thing you ought to fool with
Now you keep your fingers out of there, honey
You know that aint no there
The way that you really feel
Down the parts on the way you deal
Where the witch is sight
And the things that you fight
(oh God)
Youve been messin with the bitchs brew
Now dont you know who youre talking to
Say youre talking to the bitchs who
Tell me you never really cared
The voodoo man eyes of fire
The hoodoo man most desire
The bitches are out n smooth
Tell from the light of the moon
(yodle-lay-lay-lay, yeah, yeah, yeah, come on)
Ive been thinkin
Had my hands through the sense of time
Yeah, and Ive been drinkin
Just to make this here song rhyme
Youre foolin with the bitchs brew
Now dont you, dont you, dont you, dont you...
Dont go foolin with the bitchs brew...

Spoilt
People say
You are spoiling me,
My love!
Yes, I’m being spoilt for choice!
You give me wishes,
Words and gestures,
Dreams and feelings,
I’ve never felt before!
Spoil me, my love
Spoil me, more….
Let people keep saying.
Please ignore ;)
Your spoiling ways,
I simply adore :)
Spoil me so much,
None can restore!
I surrender to your
Love’s spoilages…
Romancing in the ruins,
Of your spoils galore…! ! !

I Cook
I eat more than I cook, little eyes are on me,
As I weep and shudder furiously, full of bad habit.
The reality of a life beyond encases me still,
To stop this, tragedy appears to mock and arrive
At our doorstep. The door is a forceful entrance
Into the brilliance of the universe, the gates remind.
I have eaten all this while, food to mock,
As the lipids stretch my body, with proteins and salts.
These minerals are what cooks are made of,
Cooks remind me of worlds and foods.

Choices
One should feel lucky
If one gets choices in the life
It can make one happy
Throughout the life
Choice in love
Friends and relations
Work, career, city and country
Is the dream of every living soul?
Living the life with choice
If one doesn’t get things of choice
One should be contented
With what he gets
Too many cooks spoil the dish
Too many choices
Makes it difficult to choose
One is lucky
If one gets chance to choose
If one’s got a life there is no choice
One has to live the way it comes
Throughout the life
Keep on trying,
For better choices

Don't Let the Rain Play Spoil Sport
On days you are forced to stay indoors
As the rain non stop pours.
While you wait for the rain gods to take a break,
Don’t waste time with nose pressed to the window pane.
Just pull out your favourite board games
Tune in some foot tapping music on World space.
Brew some steaming hot cups of tea,
Or play dumb charades in a spirit of camaraderie.
Pass the hot snacks and finger foods around,
In no time the house will resound.
With loud peals of laughter,
There will be lots of gossip and banter.
Everyone will you’ll see soon forget,
About rain being a spoil sport.

Saying This
'Two heads are better than one', they say,
As long as you both agree,
And 'Too many cooks can spoil the broth',
If they argue incessantly.
You can be as 'Cool as a cucumber',
Just because you're perfectly composed,
And after that you can 'Sleep like a top',
If you were motionless whilst you dozed.
'Tomorrow never comes', you know,
If you don't do what's needed today,
And 'Look before you leap', because,
In the end you may have to pay.
You can even get 'One's back up',
But try not to irritate,
And 'Cuckoo oats and woodcock hay',
Means that spring has come too late.
A 'Cat can look at a king', so see
That I am as good as you,
And I can be 'Betwixt and between',
Somewhere between the two.
One can also 'Beat about the bush',
Not coming straight to the matter in hand,
And I too can 'Fall upon my feet',
As long as I softly land.
'Least said the soonest mended',
Can only make things worse,
And if you buy a 'Pig in a poke',
You'll end up with an empty purse.
So if I say 'Sew the button on',
Then write down what you need to remember,
And lastly, if you were to 'Hold the fort',
You would become a great defender.

Sonnet-My Poetry
Alone, I stir a cauldron of a brew,
The brew of Poesy, voluminous;
The aroma is great; so is the hue;
And formula-Inspiration, toil plus.
The consistency improves with more time;
The quantity has swollen to the brim;
The quality has been my concern prime.
The taste is set to my fancy and whim.
My magic- potion is more than ready;
And it will stay unspoilt over ages;
I feel not weary but happy, steady,
For time will pay me laurels as wages.
My job tho' more than half-done continues,
I'll get my limelight soon and hit the news.

Long Live, Wherever You are!
Long live wherever you are!
Let peace spill out of your whole heart.
Knowledge lightens your children.
Scarcity flees from your home.
They shut the door hard to me, the scared,
and kept you off in places not known.
Classes of our race somehow formed have
taken deep roots to spoil! Spoil! Spoil!
Long live wherever you are!
I have sheltered in the north end far off,
not to come back for things simple happen.
You conveyed though words of comfort
to salve my heart rudely wounded! Wounded! Wounded!
Long live wherever you are!

Lift The Lid
Nazareth
Here I am, sitting on my porch
Thinkin my life has got to be beyond reproach
Have I forgot some friends close to me
Real ones that dont use me
And does my woman love me now
Like she loved me then
Here I am,my defenses are down
Will she remember me when Im not around
Will she still dream by me
Or will she find a new life
Will I ever get used, to being alone at night
Ill never know, but would it do me any good if I did
Life is a strange brew, maybe we should not lift the lid
Lift the lid
Ill never know, but would it do me any good if I did
Life is a strange brew, maybe we should not lift the lid
Lift the lid

Kept and Sealed
My emotion - kept and sealed
for it not to spoil.
I am drowned with the truth
that Im loving you like heaven
and Im missing you like hell.
I'm trying to resist but stupefied
to rationalize these feelings I have for you.
How beautiful life would be
if I got to live it with you.
Call me stupid -
for if profanity utters, Im not credible.
And I know not how to handle
my emotion - kept and sealed
for it not to spoil.

Cauldron
Beneath the cauldron, the fire crackles
while above it and old witch cackles
as she stirs her brew and popping in ingredients.
Web of spider, eyelash of newt,
wart of toad and little boy blue’s flute.
She looked around and cackled some more
as the bubbles in the cauldron multiplied more.
She added even more ingredients;
toenail of bat, stinger of bee,
skin of snake and droppings of mole.
The old witch continued to stir her stew,
as it must be served piping hot.
She then mumbled incantations over the bubbling brew.
The problem was who would eat it.
She turns and looks my way with a big bow in hand.
Shaking my head, no thank you,
get some other mug to have your stew.

Let us say cheers! ! !
when we grow grapes,
the bounty is huge,
what else be done,
brew it into wine.
When we grow barley,
the bounty is large,
what else be done,
brew it into beer.
When we grow rice,
the bounty is plenty,
what else be done,
brew it into vodka.
When the clime is extreme,
the fingers are numb,
breathing cold air,
can be hotter,
when you have a peg.
When the clime is extreme,
even the palms sweat,
breathing hottest air,
can be cooled down,
when you drown the chilled beer.
When you have moderate climate,
when you grow nothing in extra,
when you have hungry families,
why the liquor is sold
to the poor peasant?
for the revenue of the government?
Is climate a real reason,
for human to consume alcohol,
an item not food?
social drinkers,
compulsive drinkers,
addicted drinkers,
who ever we are,
we have the reasons,
to justify our actions.
in the name of liberty,
freedom and individuality,
without considering,
the welfare of the fellow human,
who may be strong and weak.
Holding a glass of water,
I say cheers to you, guys,
in the name of liberty,
freedom and individuality,
as I have no backbone,
to tell you not to drink.
