The taller the bamboo grows, the lower it bends.

The Night Of Solitude
the night of solitude
Dark in the night,
Out of the world's sight;
Tears that wish to pierce,
Been confined for years,
Within the black whorl,
Falling deep down in a swirl,
Concealed by the convergent rays,
Forbidden by an unidentified maze;
Passing through the ever unseen,
Through the unknown, the unbeen,
Taller and taller they conspire,
Turns of unexpressed love
Bends of unreduced distances
Curves of intangible touches
Your sweetheart lies in her bed
Missing your kisses,
a new set of dreams
On her eyes, plant thier kisses

The higher the mountain the lower the vale, the taller the tree the harder the fall.
The higher the mountain the lower the valley, the taller the tree the harder the fall.
Bamboo Bimbo
Well he caught his first whiff in the jungles
Ofnam
That slant-eyed catfish tasted better than mom
Now every single night she drops her big bomb
Cause hes a bamb00 bimbo
Those hook marks really show
Cause hes a bamboo bimb0
He went for it now everyone knows
Hes a bamboo bimb0
He caught his first glance in field and stream
That salt water taffy was a fishermans
Wet dream
Now every single night hes still gettin
That big ream
Cause hes a bamboo bimb0
He fell it and everyone knows
Hes a bamboo bimbo
Just a monkey with a ring in his nose
Hes a bambo0 bimbo
Cant say I never told ya so
Hes a bamboo bimb0
It go on and on and on

Bamboo trees soar high
Constant growth in absent pride
Rain or sun, it thrives
In Adversity, it bends
In strongest storms, it survives.

Thunder breaks Silence
as rain blankets the green fields
Earth drinks the bounty
the Bamboo bends with the wind
...swaying, but it does not break.

Sonnet: Wisdom of Life
The higher up you climb a taller pole,
The taller tree you climb: perils evoke;
A ladder’s higher rungs shouldn’t be one’s goal;
The wind is strong up there, so is your yoke!
A faster pace can make you slip sometime;
A shorter time to do makes you tired;
The aim to win shouldn’t be emotion prime;
For you end up prematurely retired.
For everything in life, there is a pace;
For everything in life, there is a time;
And everyone in life can’t win a race;
And everyone his life can’t make sublime.
Sometimes, life’s lower rungs appear the best!
But keep your cool and soul: God does the rest.

On the Lake (1)
Mountain monks facing chess sit
Board on bamboo dark quiet
Shine bamboo no person see
Sometimes hear down chess piece sound
Two monks sit facing, playing chess on the mountain,
The bamboo shadow on the board is dark and clear.
Not a person sees the bamboo's shadow,
One sometimes hears the pieces being moved.
You may grow taller, but no taller than your head.
Bamboo Tunes and Cat Eyed Girl
In the murmuring evenings,
Cat eyed girl, worn ear-rings,
Stands by bamboo cluster,
Putting down pots of water.
Gilded bamboos sing and sway,
And the tired path becomes gay.
Bamboo hearts throb ever;
Unnamed tunes cease never.
Her bamboo throes resounded
In the gloomy wind unbounded.
Melodies of earth does shower
On her soul that does hover.
Finger tip of the wind brings
Sweet tunes from bamboo strings.
Music enters her inner grove,
Where the forlorn dreams rove.
Cuddled bamboos swing and say
What the lovers failed to say.
Never dying natural music
So keeps her hopes rhythmic.

Physics And Love
do not ever think that parallel lines
never meet
that is what geometry is teaching
you, because it is all linear and straight and
cold
because the Pythagorean theorem
after all
has not proved that at the tips of
triangles
the possibility that a heart grows
is so remote
on a chance of
winning a lotto game
even
in quantum physics
light bends to the bosom of
space
in love too
distance does not matter
darkness bends
to light
kings kneel on the legs
of slaves
crowns fall
and tongues love
what ordinary mortals detest
licking.

Liberation of female sex.
You cannot grow taller than you are.
But you can be leaner than you are.
Dwarf is not the sign of beauty.
Be thin to look taller.
Surging breasts and broad hip are outdated.
Tiny breasts and narrow frame are the order of the day.

Tallness is far fetching beauty.
Your slanting lower jaw
Elongates your oval head.
Your tightly braided hair
Elevates your long nape.
Your sleeveless blouse
Lengthens the length of arm.
Your low hip worn saree
High lights your slimness of waist.
You are still longer.
You are still taller.
Slim and slender as you are
Fair and lovely you appear,
Though you gave me poses
From a hundred yards away.

Picaro grew smaller and smaller
The hurdles grew taller and taller
Satyros tragos peeled off his skin
Piled up reality up to his chin
Now swim through the dim
Oceans of blue heart
Butterfly style make it an art

Flute - a triolet
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air.
Most natural, magical, musical instrument.
Makes melodious the complete atmosphere
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air.
In hands of Lord Krishna, Hindus wish to be flute.
In tranquillity, ears sense celestial experience.
Hollow and holes of bamboo played with air;
Most natural, magical, musical instrument.

God can be realized through all paths. All religions are true. The important thing is to reach the roof. You can reach it by stone stairs or by wooden stairs or by bamboo steps or by a rope. You can also climb up by a bamboo pole.

For Frankie
My words are taller
Your native canes cannot reach them
So you always say
You misunderstand me
My murmur
You mishear as my sole reason
For waking up from cubic morning
To the edge
Of twilight
Perhaps you miss
The light burning in the middle
Of your forehead
As old woman
You’re taller as I am
Even when I stand and look up
I see the nimbus bursting
In the dark
You never really tried
To be
Like a puppy
When first thrown
Into the sea

Walking Tall
I'm going stronger and stronger
I'm growing taller and taller
With each and every failure I savor
With the wounds on my naked heart I preen
Like a lofty tree with Axe-made hews
That stops not sprouting new leaves
Nor buildings it's trunk's thews
Nor doling out, for free, sweet fruits
