For Frankie
My words are taller
Your native canes cannot reach them
So you always say
You misunderstand me
My murmur
You mishear as my sole reason
For waking up from cubic morning
To the edge
Of twilight
Perhaps you miss
The light burning in the middle
Of your forehead
As old woman
You’re taller as I am
Even when I stand and look up
I see the nimbus bursting
In the dark
You never really tried
To be
Like a puppy
When first thrown
Into the sea

Hold Her In Your Hand
You got to walk a little slower when youre with her
Take the time to be tender, thats the plan
You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces
Only then can you hold her in your hand
You got to live for every moment that she gives you
Make the one in a million understand
You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces
Only then can you hold her in your hand
Now too many faces have come down between us
And I was the fool to be
And I cant deny you the wide open spaces
As long as she stops loving me
You got to stand a little closer when you hold her
Make her feel like a woman , understand
You got to stand a little taller while her world falls to pieces
Only then can you hold her in your hand

(V – 1985) Joy & Woe
Joy and sorrow always walk hand in hand!
Upon all human hearts they come and stand!
Oh, behind all considered-happy souls
Look, a dropp of sorrow verily rolls!
When taller and taller woe piles up in some
Gets hidden behind, oh, the gladness in them!
Yet hardly do they come with us to live without inviting
For man himself it is who keeps him, oh, laughing and grieving!
You may grow taller, but no taller than your head.
Crusader
(clarke / hicks / nash)
All is dark
The moat is dry
Shadows fall
The roof lets in the sky
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led
Minstrels play
Familiar melodies
And once more
The past comes back to me
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led
The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since Ive been gone
The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, what have I done
Break
The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since Ive been gone
The grass has grown much taller now
Over running everything
Oh, oh, since Ive been gone
All is dark
The moat is dry
Shadows fall
The roof lets in the sky
All these memories
Go round in my head
Of the life I have led

Tiptoes
Waking up again another sleepless night
Climbing taller buildings more dreams of flight
In a pool of sweat not knowing what to do
No more earth-bound feelings a diffrent point of view
Moment of truth he heads towards the building
His glazed eyes stare vacantly following his feelings
No turning back the doors already shutting
Standing on his tiptoes to reach the nineteenth button
To miss a grasping hand
(Im falling again)
And squash a passer-by
(Im falling again)
He wanted to see some evidence
(Im falling again)
That he could really fly
Balanced on the edge only time could tell
Some say he was pushed, others say he fell
Standing on that rooftop his brain told him no
But all the dreams in nights before told him he must go
To miss a grasping hand
(Im falling again)
And squash a passer-by
(Im falling again)
He wanted to see some evidence
(Im falling again)
That he could really fly
His questions and himself
Nearly fell on stony ground
He couldve embarrassed his family
Who watched him from the crowd
Balanced on the edge only time could tell
Some say he was pushed, others say he fell
To miss a grasping hand
(Im falling again)
And squash a passer-by
(Im falling again)
He wanted to see some evidence
(Im falling again)
That he could really fly
(Im falling ...)

Oh Lamen Self
Oh lamen self
Why do I do fault on thee
I think I am capable of these things
To discover I am weak
I am ready, I declare
Though fate will be told halt
I push through direction
And bring this on myself
Pains me so deep
Physicality is no bother
Yet that by which I do not fall
Will only help me to stand taller
And the taller I command
The smaller I am inside
For thy surface is of no resemblance
To the monster that I hide
That of greed, hunger
Mortality and fate
That which brings me down, twists me in two
And allows my heart to break

Liberation of female sex.
You cannot grow taller than you are.
But you can be leaner than you are.
Dwarf is not the sign of beauty.
Be thin to look taller.
Surging breasts and broad hip are outdated.
Tiny breasts and narrow frame are the order of the day.

Significant Other Numbers
SIGNIFICANT OTHER NUMBERS
Edward Iacona
I’d love to find a companion
Whose heart I’d make go pitter patter.
Until I read what women want
And then some numbers are going to matter.
As I read one online profile
I’m sure that for me she’d fall.
But, then I read that she’s five feet two
And wants a man that’s six feet tall.
To use her as an example
Here is a thought to debate or rebuff.
I am four inches taller than her,
So, why is that not enough?
There must be some adaptability.
There’s no formula or calculation
One needs for vertical compatibility
When involved in joyful copulation.
If I met and liked a lady
I’d not hesitate to call her
Just because the reason was
That she’s just simply taller.
To date a woman taller than me
I can imagine the relief she imbues
Being with one without the need
To balance on high heeled shoes.
Additional significant numbers
That figure onto this page
Are the variable considerations
About the differences in age.
There’s an allure to older with younger
Though others may wonder, squawk and gawk.
The biggest challenge to the couple is
That eventually they’ll have to talk.
Be one younger or one older
There’s really no true reference
Perhaps the only factor is that
It speaks to a mutual preference.
To use an acronym of today
Some might want to find a M.I.L.F.
So in the final equation,
I aspire to become a D.I.L.F.

Walking Tall
I'm going stronger and stronger
I'm growing taller and taller
With each and every failure I savor
With the wounds on my naked heart I preen
Like a lofty tree with Axe-made hews
That stops not sprouting new leaves
Nor buildings it's trunk's thews
Nor doling out, for free, sweet fruits

New York Woman
It was getting dark in a snow-covered park,
I thought I saw you smiling.
You left town to marry a texas millionaire,
I wonder how you are doing.
You were a new york woman,
New york woman,
New york woman,
I love you.
I heard him on the air discussing world affairs,
And something about his global vision.
Thats when I wondered if you made the right decision,
I want to know what youre thinking.
You were a new york woman,
New york woman,
New york woman,
I miss you.
You were a new york woman,
New york woman,
New york woman,
I miss you.
I miss you,
I miss you,
I miss you,
I miss you, my friend.
I miss you,
Oh, I miss you,
Oh, I miss you,
Oh, I miss you.

Height
If I was just a little taller
I'd never use needle and thread.
I'd nothing to hem
and things unreachable
I could grab instead.
But good things come in small packages.
That's how the saying does go.
So I content myself with 5 foot 3
and take out my needle to sew.
When I was a kid I'd look up to see
people growing taller than me.
I wondered how it felt up there?
Was it easier to see?
Now that I've reached that 'I don't care stage'
it's not that bothersome at all.
If I need something way up high
I just find someone that is tall.

I'm Really The Kind
I'm really the kind to dazzle and twirl
Have tantrums like silver slanting rain
Walk up to strangers
Parade with my pride
And stride like a lion up
A mad mountainside
So steep, so lovely
Don't think about the fall
Then suddenly, no warning
No nothing, I'm small
I'm small
Smaller than anyone, smaller than you
You see, I'm really the kind
To cower in the corner
And pray that some guy
Will have a kind word to say
Then be tiny in his arms
And be stroked to my heart
And coaxed and caressed
And combed and undressed
Then finally I'll trust him
Abandon it all
Then suddenly, no warning
No nothing, I'm too tall
I'm tall, taller than anyone
Taller than boys
I'm tall, taller than anyone
Taller than you
The pendulum swings both ways
And I lose my equilibrium
I swing so fast inside it's motion
That I become the hum
I become the hum
You see I'm really the kind
To walk the avenues
And criticize the mannequins
And ogle the jewels
Justify spending the cash
I don't have
Break resolutions
With a naughty little laugh
I'm nothing unless
I'm the belle of the ball
And then suddenly
No warning, no nothing
I've got it all, I see it all
I have it all, I have it all
It is, it is, it is, it is
It is, my soul, my soul

Divorcees
Bulls are stronger than cows;
Cocks are prouder than hens.
Man is taller than woman.
It is the nature’s design.
Woman wants to grow as tall
As man in all respects.
Having grown like that now
She goes out of partner.
Her mind is still feminine,
Which demands a person
Who can hug her, lead her
And be superior to her.
She searches a partner,
Higher than her, in vain
And get one that miss-fires.
She lives as a divorcee.

The Night Of Solitude
the night of solitude
Dark in the night,
Out of the world's sight;
Tears that wish to pierce,
Been confined for years,
Within the black whorl,
Falling deep down in a swirl,
Concealed by the convergent rays,
Forbidden by an unidentified maze;
Passing through the ever unseen,
Through the unknown, the unbeen,
Taller and taller they conspire,
Turns of unexpressed love
Bends of unreduced distances
Curves of intangible touches
Your sweetheart lies in her bed
Missing your kisses,
a new set of dreams
On her eyes, plant thier kisses

Don't be sad..
stand up on your feet, taller than ever,
wipe off the dust, cleaner to be brighter,
dust of worries and tortures,
dust of confusion and failures.
we are born to live happily,
whether we have money or miseries,
we are born to live safely,
whether we live in a house or on the alley.
Be brave and courageous,
Don't behave outrageous,
love yourself gracious,
love everyone contagious.
Don't cry for the petty things,
Those have made you to fling,
We are the human with the willing,
Wipe that tear that is filling.
The whole world is ours, you believe,
Even the stars, moon, planets and the Sun,
Nurture the worries makes you a coward,
Nurture the strength will make you a brave.
Stand up on you feet, taller than ever,
we are the human, born with the sense the sixth,
sharpen that sense with your experiences, the vast
Send the discrepancies and the discrimination to the dark.

Possum Holler
Duet by Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner
Writer Dallas Frazier
Copyright 1967
As time goes by the tales grow taller about possum in Possum Holler
As a young man I'd go a courtin' with my sweetheart so young and fair
Down the mountain to Possum Holler that's where he'd always find me waitin'
there
Now I tell my mama that I's goin' out walkin' neath the moonlight so bright and
fair
And I'd tell daddy I was huntin' possum
And take off a grinnin' and a slickin' down my hair
As time goes by the tales grow taller about possum in Possum Holler
Then one evening in Possum Holler my sweetheart's daddy stopped all our fun
Yeah we got married in Possum Holler just you and me my daddy and daddy's gun
As time goes by the tales grow taller about possum in Possum Holler
Now when they see a possum hunter young and handsome and a smellin' fair
We just lean back and bust our laughin' cause we know there ain't no possum
there
As time goes by the tales grow taller about possum in Possum Holler
About possum in Possum Holler

I Have Always Wanted to Write You One, Sorry it Took so Long to Find My Inspiration...Hey That Rhymes!
Written: October 12,2011
Since we were born, I think we were meant to be
The best of friends we were and are, nothing ever came between
Sharing came easy to us, for our parents to see
To be honest, you were never evil or mad and definitely not mean
As the years went past, taller and taller we grew
You were taller for a while then, but I won as we always knew
Our competitions became more elaborate, you were smart I athletic
Although, I think my writing skills are better but my handwriting still pathetic
Look at our accomplishments now, past President of HICAP and me an ex-Captain
Both black belts and teachers in the makin’
We have shown courage, endurance, tolerance, and loyalty
Which is seen in our friends to whom we never forsaken
I know in the future, with no doubt in my mind
No matter what happens we will be at each others side
We have seen each other struggle and fought through with out rest
For me it was to be like you who always was clearly the best
I never told you who my heros are, especially who they are today
It is you, Mom, and Dad. And Mike Piazza, when the field was called Shea
I have always looked up to you, literally and metaphorically
And I have never want to leave you, or have you go away
In the best way that I can
In the best way like no other
Happy Birthday Meg
from your Little Brother
