The Human Inside
Ah my heart if just for once
You could kill the human inside
You would be the happiest one
If you could hate walking under the rain and cry
If you could ignore the pure emotions of love
You would be the happiest one
If you could support the false and the lie
And say Its black when its snowy white
You would be the happiest one
If you could close your eyes and disregard
When you see the poor and forget to
Cry
If you could give up your principles and your rights
And chase up what makes you glad.
You could never ever be a happy one.

The Hapiest Christmas
Oh the happiest christmas
Is a homecoming christmas
With the snow fluttering down til the world seems new
Bright candles burning
Old friends returning
The wishes of children coming true
And the happiest wishes are just old-fashioned wishes
May your days be merry, your sorrows be small
May the ones you love be near you
Thats the happiest christmas of all

Me & Bobby & Bobbys Brother
Well there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Please take me back to that place
Where Ive got all my memories, those were my happiest days
I remember all the games we used to play
I really do
And I went to see them almost every day
I wanted to
Though we quarrelled at times
And had a few fights
We were the best of friends
We found a place in the sun
To have enough fun
Well there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Wildest kids you could see
We would play together
Climbing the apple tree
Yes there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Please take me back to that place
Where Ive got all me my memories, those were my happiest days
They would take me out for football games and such
They liked to play
And I guess I didnt like it very much
But anyway
I was happy and proud to be with the boys
Being a little girl
I found a place in the sun
A heaven of fun
Well there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Wildest kids you could see
We would play together
Climbing the apple tree
Yes there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Please take me back to that place
Where Ive got all me my memories, those were my happiest days
Well there was me and bobby and bobbys brother
Please take me back to that place
Where Ive got all my memories, those were my happiest days
(got all my memories, those were my happiest days)
Where Ive got all my memories, those were my happiest days
(got all my memories, those were my happiest days)
Where Ive got all my memories, those were my happiest days
(got all my memories, those were my happiest days)

The Happiest Old
The happiest old
have nothing and don't mind.
The happiest young
are old before their time.
Few these.
The others are behind their years,
suffer thirteen-year-olds' fears
into their twenties,
and in their forties
have appetite
for sins of twenty.
But not the bite.

The Happiest Day, the Happiest Hour
The happiest day- the happiest hour
My sear'd and blighted heart hath known,
The highest hope of pride and power,
I feel hath flown.
Of power! said I? yes! such I ween;
But they have vanish'd long, alas!
The visions of my youth have been-
But let them pass.
And, pride, what have I now with thee?
Another brow may even inherit
The venom thou hast pour'd on me
Be still, my spirit!
The happiest day- the happiest hour
Mine eyes shall see- have ever seen,
The brightest glance of pride and power,
I feel- have been:
But were that hope of pride and power
Now offer'd with the pain
Even then I felt- that brightest hour
I would not live again:
For on its wing was dark alloy,
And, as it flutter'd- fell
An essence- powerful to destroy
A soul that knew it well.

Day That I Die
One day I woke up woke up knowing today is the day I will die
Cashdogg was barking went to the park and enjoyed that one last time
Called my mother told her I loved her and begged her not to cry
Wrote her a letter that said Id miss her and signed that goodbye...
You know the happiest day of my life
I swear the happiest day of my life is the day that I die
(the day that I died)
Can you feel the cold tonight?
(the day that I died)
It sets in but its alright
(the day that I died)
Darkness falls Im letting go
(the day that I died)
All alone but I feel fine
We took a drive and we drove thru d.c.
To see the places we lived, long conversations
We talked of old friends and all the things that we did
Summer nights, drunken fights
Mistakes we made...did we live it right?
You know the happiest day of my life I swear the happiest day of my life
Is the day that I died
(the day that I died)
Can you feel the cold tonight?
(the day that I died)
It sets in but its alright
(the day that I died)
Darkness falls Im letting go
(the day that I died)
All alone but I feel just fine
You know the happiest day of my life
I know the happiest day of my life
I swear the happiest day of my life is the day that I died
(the day that I died)
Can you feel the cold tonight?
(the day that I died)
It sets in but its alright
(the day that I died)
Darkness falls Im letting go
(the day that I died)
All alone but I feel just fine
Did I live it right?
I hope I lived it right
I hope I lived it right, I know I lived it right
Did I live it right?
I hope I lived it right, I know I lived it right

Schooldays
If ever you think about the happiest days of your life
Cast back your mind for a while
And remember the time when you were a child.
Dont think of things that make you sad,
Just remember all the good times that you had.
Do you remember only happy days,
Full of flaming junes and summer holidays?
Or do you remember those stormy novembers
When we walked in the wind and the rain?
Schooldays were such happy days
Now they seem so far away,
I remember and Ill always treasure.
Schooldays were the happiest days of your life
But we never appreciate the good times we have
Until its too late.
I miss all the acquaintances we made
And Id go back if I could only find a way,
Schooldays were the happiest days
Though at the time they filled me with dismay.
We only remember what we choose to remember.
When I was a schoolboy I loathed regulations and rules
I hated my textbooks and my school uniform,
cos it made me conform,
And teachers were always disobeyed,
But Id go back if I could only find a way.
Schooldays were the happiest days,
Now they seem so far away.
I remember and Ill always treasure
Schooldays were the happiest days of your life
But we never appreciate the good times we have
Until its too late.
Now I wish I hadnt strayed,
And Id go back if I could only find a way.
Schooldays.

The happiest people are those who think the most interesting thoughts. Those who decide to use leisure as a means of mental development, who love good music, good books, good pictures, good company, good conversation, are the happiest people in the world. And they are not only happy in themselves, they are the cause of happiness in others.

I don't know if I am a sad person with a vocation to be happy, or vice versa, or the other way round. What I do know is that there is always some sadness in my happiest moments, just as there is always a little joy in my worst days.

And When He Smiles
(from live at bbc, 1971)
And when he smiles he makes the sun shine
He wouldnt think to make it rain
Happiness runs in the family
And hes a boy from the good old earth and the high tree forest
And hes just about the happiest boy that I ever knew
And when he smiles he makes me sigh
He doesnt have a point of view
Happiness runs in the family
And hes a boy from the good old earth and the high tree forest
And hes just about the happiest boy that I ever knew
And when he smiles he makes the sun shine
And warms the day with morning dew
Happiness runs in the family
And hes a boy from the good old earth and the high tree forest
And hes just about the happiest boy that I ever knew
And hes just about the happiest boy that I ever knew

I Cannot Go Back To Where I Once Was Happiest
I CANNOT GO BACK TO WHERE I ONCE WAS HAPPIEST
I cannot go back to where I once was happiest-
I cannot go forward to a happiness unknown.
I can only remain where I am now
For as long as I can remain here.
Happy sometimes,
Happy on occasion,
Happy in spite of and along with all the unhappiness.
I can only be a bit and somewhat happy sometimes-
That’s all there is for me
Now and to the end.

Have The Happiest of Holidays
Have the happiest of holidays.
Live each moment as if you have been gifted!
Know that you have...
And begin to unwrap and witness the glow within!
'That' has been inside you all this time!
Protect it.
Keep it polished...
And let it shine!
Have the happiest of holidays...
Live each moment as if you have been gifted!
You have!
Tremendously!
If you are disappointed...
Revisit your wish list!
You'll see things differently,
Once you realize your joy and glee
Has a lot to do with you...
And what you perceive is best to receive!
