A Song of Wrong [ You Laughed and Laughed and Laughed ]
In your eyes
My song is one of wrong
Intruding into your heart
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
In your heart, you knew
I could be there,
Cause you brought me here.
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
In your soul,
You knew I want you
In my home.
'cause you brought me hope.
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
You laughed at my wrong
You laughed at my right.
You laughed over
Everything I do.
.
And now, my love I give to you
But you shut your eyes and
Laughed and laughed
And laughed.
.
You laughed at my walk
You laughed at my song.
.
You walked your walk
Into my life of wrong
Knowing all along
You could change me in all.
.
But you shot your heart
To my love
And you walked away from
My heart, and you laughed
And laughed and laughed.

You Laughed and Laughed and Laughed
I told you I was in love,
But you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
I gave you my love,
But you did not give me yours,
Instead you kept mine, and
Gave yours to another.
.
You laughed at my song,
You laughed at my walk,
Then I danced my magic dance
to the rhythm of the talking
drums pleading.
.
But you shot your eyes, and laughed
And laughed and laughed.

But the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

They All Laughed
The odds were a hundred to one against me
The world thought the heights were too high to climb
But people from missouri never incensed me
Oh, I wasnt a bit concerned
For from histry I had learned
How many, many times the worm had turned
They all laughed at christopher columbus
When he said the world was round
They all laughed when edison recorded sound
They all laughed at wilbur and his brother
When they said that man could fly
They told marconi
Wireless was a phony
Its the same old cry
They laughed at me wanting you
Said I was reaching for the moon
But oh, you came through
Now theyll have to change their tune
They all said we never could be happy
They laughed at us and how!
But ho, ho, ho!
Whos got the last laugh now?
They all laughed at rockefeller center
Now theyre fighting to get in
They all laughed at whitney and his cotton gin
They all laughed at fulton and his steamboat
Hershey and his chocolate bar
Ford and his lizzie
Kept the laughers busy
Thats how people are
They laughed at me wanting you
Said it would be, hello, goodbye.
But oh, you came through
Now theyre eating humble pie
They all said wed never get together
Darling, lets take a bow
For ho, ho, ho!
Whos got the last laugh?
Hee, hee, hee!
Lets at the past laugh
Ha, ha, ha!
Whos got the last laugh now?

When Heard
I was told to approach them.
To tell them what the deal was.
And I was laughed at.
I did not give up.
I sacrificed my time to give to them.
And I was laughed at.
I healed from illinesses,
With pain felt from mending.
And still I was laughed at.
Now I laugh with feelings of being blessed.
And few think my laughter loud,
When heard...
Is funny!

Journey Discovered
He sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was persecuted
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” quietly disputed
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was beat and spit on
He still did not budge, (Jesus)
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was nailed, torn, and stripped of His clothes
to end with a body full of holes
if only he knew
that it wasn’t through
the “Son of God” came to do what God had Him to do
save me and you
from the end
He bared our sins
sitting on His throne
Satan lost his grin
his world will soon come to an end

A Square Poem
Reading this poem vertically (the first word of each line, then the second word of each line and so on) yields the same poem as resding it in the normal way.
I often wondered when I cursed,
Often feared where I would be—
Wondered where she'd yield her love,
When I yield, so will she.
I would her will be pitied!
Cursed be love! She pitied me ...

A Sparrow
I was silent for a long time here
do not care about around me
when a sparrow greeted
' Why are you such a fool
sat there stunned? '
then he laughed
I laughed and told him:
'Do not go, keep me here'
'I thought to myself'
'What are you think? '
'a lot - not just a little..
do not waste your valuable time
to reflect on many things
that will make you worthless
for others'
then he laughed
and flew out of me
then I stand and laugh - laugh at myself
The hardest that I've laughed at a movie was probably Team America. I laughed 'til I thought I was just gonna throw up. I almost had to turn it off.
The Woman at the Crossroad Who Laughed
As I walked up the pavement, up the slight hill
to the traffic lights at the crossroads outside the station,
I saw her waiting to cross.
Or rather, I saw first, her laugh..
She held the hand of her son
as she exchanged words with a passing friend
and laughed..
and what I saw in her eyes, her whole face,
as she laughed, was that as she laughed -
(did she know this? How could I tell her, a stranger?
Lady, lady, at the crossroad of our lives,
I’m writing this poem for you now…)
as she laughed, while she laughed,
I saw that she was in touch, the whole of her,
with her deepest self – just that… all that…
and as I saw that self, which was
(Lady, are you reading this?)
the perfection of perfection, all that’s perfect…
it was as if – no, it was just so –
her self looked at me, and so
the perfect looked at the perfect;
herself and mine together laughed,
laughed at imperfection
and as the perfect looked, it saw perfection
spreading through my eyes from our shared self
so that her son was perfect; and her friend was perfect;
and all around us, every they and it were perfect..
(Lady, Lady, at the Cross’s foot,
was it like this for You?)
the light turned green. And we were free
to cross the road; and
free to live; and
free to laugh away illusion; and
free to be ourselves; forever,
in that time which is forever.
Lady, by my faith, this by my hand;
and with my life I do yet swear
upon my life, this to be true;
Lady, hear, in this my orison,
there are no sins
to be remembered.

Wisdom
Someone
Asked me
What is
Wisdom?
I said:
It’s the
Way –
Wise men
Come ;)
He laughed
And laughed
And couldn’t
Make sense!
I said:
It’s okay to
Sometimes
Talk -
Nonsense ;)
