Until a friend or relative has applied a particular proverb to your own life, or until you've watched him apply the proverb to his own life, it has no power to sway you.

A proverb is the horse of conversation: when the conversation lags, a proverb revives it.
Villanelle on a Proverb
The heart once broken is a heart no more.
—Edna St. Vincent Millay
The proverb says that time confers relief,
heals a crimson gash or knits whole a bone
and years unlock a knuckled fist of grief
that clenches emptiness in disbelief
to keep one's wits from being overthrown,
while time, the proverb says, confers relief
from cleaving wounds, paradoxical thief,
that also tears apart fused hearts grown
beyond the lock of knuckled-fisted grief
half-hearts collapsed empty in unbelief
at finalities beneath lids of stone,
while time, proverbially, confers relief
by bleaching wounds to scars—its chief
repair—but cannot heal a heart left alone
although the years unlock the fist of grief,
proclaiming the proverbial motif
that all wounds heal, time cannot atone
for vacancy. The proverb lies. Relief
unlocks a fist, but not the archived grief.

If a rogue deceives me once, shame on him. If he deceives me twice, shame on me.
If he deceives me once, shame on him; if he deceives me twice, shame on me.
If a man deceives me once, shame on him; if he deceives me twice, shame on me.
The Truth Within
Fons et origo boni ple luxque perenis
Salvificet pietas tua nos bone rector, eleison
The golden wine flows through my veins
I know the meaning behind the holy words
A lesson must be learned - so listen all
Let your heart rule or we all must fall
We cry out for help, a prayer for your soul
When you will know the end is near,
you will faster crawl
The whole body withdraws with the pain of birth
And once again I know the true meaning of life
Once again I know that looking through their eyes
... As they came with their love...
I know the truth of life and it lies before my eyes
The truth lies within you know
The truth lies within the holy words

Busy lovers guide - what proverbs foretell
'For talks six times
with the same single lady
you may get your wedding dress ready'
honestly believing on
this oldest proverb,
I started talking in my office
to the next seat lady
........... sixteen times a day
to double up the speed
but both of us are yet to know
when to get our coveted dresses ready
very lately I discover now....
the basics I missed, through another proverb
'Love ceases to be a pleasure
when it ceases to be a secret'

He that deceives me once, shame fall him; if he deceives me twice, shame fall me.
Innocence Bleeding
Do you believe in heaven?
That mans soul is eternal?
Our prayers are always answered?
And miracles can happen?
Save me.
But dont you wonder?
The holy ghost and jesus?
In paradise and angels?
That God is all forgiving?
Save me.
Reward the faithful?
He lies to you and deceives.
A dark salvation comes.
Innocence bleeding.
Too dark to see the pictures of heaven
Too dark to find the garden of eden.
Blinded by faith and stories of wonder,
Devine mercy? mercy lies bleeding.
Save me.

What's The Point? ? ?
Forget about money
Forget about gold
Forget about the stories
You've been told
There's only one meaning of life
And that you'll see
Don't even think about cruises
And dining in style
That's just a luxury
That you can earn in a while
There's only one meaning of life
And that you'll see
What really makes you smile?
What really makes you laugh?
What makes you're heart skip a beat?
When it beats really fast
Within there lies the answer
And that you'll see
The meaning of life
Is Love

Constancy.....
no matter what
it remains standing there
when tired
it sits sometimes when we are not watching
it deceives
and lies and mocks us when we are not looking
but what we must admire
and give credit
to this kind of thing
is its constancy
so that
when it rains or shines
it is always there
nothing moves it
and nothing defeats it
it is always there
and we applaud it
we put the boundaries
and mark the monument
of this
constancy
a sculpture of a body
with a face
like ours.

All Times
Excuse me
I am here to say something
The meaning of my say
Be different to different persons
The meaning of my say
Is equally important to all
The meaning of my say
You are searching and searching
That is not fixed not codified
The meaning of my say
Is true to all times to come
And you are not all timers
Who can know everything
Every meaning of my word my say
Excuse me
I am to say something.

Juan's Song
When beauty breaks and falls asunder
I feel no grief for it, but wonder.
When love, like a frail shell, lies broken,
I keep no chip of it for token.
I never had a man for friend
Who did not know that love must end.
I never had a girl for lover
Who could discern when love was over.
What the wise doubt, the fool believes--
Who is it, then, that love deceives?

Everything Has Meaning
the floor give meaning to the ceiling
the shore to the sea
the moon to the night sky
the sun to the earth
and man in between and woman
around the arms of man
and the dog amidst them
there is meaning to everything
and to everyone, and the important conclusion is inevitable
there is meaning in you.
decorate this meaning with a smile.

Of Evil Defined
An old Russian proverb that states: 'There can be no good without evil'.
All the world today is in an upheaval.
Let’s prevail to overcome all evil.
We all know there’s always a battle between good and evil.
For what is evil defined; One with a twisted mind.
And we all know that evil is in the back of everyone’s mind.
Always seeing evil can make us blind.
It can even make you loose your mind.
Just remember this proverb of mine: Good can prevail from all of mankind.

Too Sleaze and Greasy
For decades you caused me agony!
By telling lies people still believe.
And now since we've gotten older,
You want me to accept your practiced apologies.
My suspicions of you aren't overcomed.
I've been victimized by your tongue.
And your abilities may be a bit rusty!
But someone who deceives...
Like the way you've done
To others and with me!
What would make you think I would forget...
How a sleaze and greasy person like you,
Could do what you did with such ease?
There is no need to try to please me.
I have too long considered you,
Someone to keep my eye on and stay away.
Especially since it took me years,
To heal from your mental disease you displayed!
