Thirt Pieces Of Silver

THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER

Those early Roman days, were not much
different,
When bribery, corruption and evil ways,
had also prevailed!
Politicians crossed the floor of the Senate, -
like politicians of our days!
Morality, human values, and actions and
deeds,
Had price tags to satisfy human greed!
Both terrorists and traitors could be tempeted
by the devil,
To satisfy human lust and for the spread of
evil!
I often recall how Judas had betrayed,
By planting the traitors kiss on his Masters
face;
And sold Jesus to the Romans in a villanous
barter trade!
Thirty pieces of silver, became the price of
Judas soul,
For thirty pieces of silver, his Master he had
sold!
Thiry pieces of silver, was all that Judas got;
In exchange of hell fire and damnation as his
eternal lot!

Silver Is Granted Power Over Evil

silver silver is redemption metal
thirty pieces of silver payment
price for betrayal of prophet Christ

in blood of Christ
silver is granted power over evil
silver is metal

used to kill demon souls

silver not gold
is salvation metal
with power to slay evil

Time Will Tell

Ghetto life,
Ghetto pain,
Ghetto dreams;
The vision is still in progress.
Of challenges,
Towns of sorrow;
But life still moves on.
Mission in progress,
Heart of love;
This is the message to the Big People.

Earth, Wind and Fire!
Earth, Roots and Water! !
This is a message to the Small People;
Like, the thirty pieces of gold.
From man to woman,
From woman to baby,
Thirty pieces of silver;
Time will surely tell one day but,
Time is still longer than a rope.

Moving on,
Life is like thirty pieces of bronze;
So, don't let the glasses fool you.
Just one size,
Just one wear,
Just one move,
Just one time,
Just one shot,
Time will surely tellone day.
Ghetto life,
Ghetto people;
Time will tell.

Silver Is Metal Used To Kill Demon Souls

gold gold is the fever metal
for the love of gold shining in their eyes
men resort to violent base morals

gold lust will turn men's
hearts to savage beasts
gold is not a beautiful metal

of salvation
curse of death men's
gold haunts

generations of men

silver silver is redemption metal
thirty pieces of silver payment

The Silver Dollar

You gave me something, grandpa
A coin of silver - flat and round
But it doesn't whirr or whistle
It cannot make a sound

It is not marked with 'China'
On a toy that is a must
It only bears this simple line
'U.S.A In God We Trust'

This thing you gave me grandpa
Of this there is no doubt
It doesn't laugh and giggle
When I push it in and out

It has no pretty colors
No buttons or a bow
It makes no noise or vibrate
No volume 'high' or 'low'

So of what good is it grandpa
This shiny little thing?
What fun will come with having it
What laughter will it bring?

I tell you this, my loving one
My grandchild oh so dear
The truth about this silver coin
That you might wish to hear

Now take up the silver coin
Travel back in time with me
And think of those who owned it
In your mind now can you see?

To touch the silver dollar
And to make the feeling last
Is to touch all those who held it
And to touch the history past

To hold it and to feel it
Is to hold the spirits trapped therein
To think of where it lingered
And to wonder where its been

When we think of those who owned it
Then we think of those who tried
To give you all you wish for
From the toil for which they died

Well, I'll tell you of this silver coin
And how it comes to you
From a mine in Colorado
Or the mountains of Peru

Perhaps it's silver touched The Inca
Upon his emerald crown
Or was inlaid in the Spanish sword
That brought the empire down

Valley Forge or Flanders Field
Or perhaps on Concord Green
At Shiloh Church or Gettysburg
Who knows what the silvers' seen?

The silver out of which it's made
It self has witnessed much
But then a coin from it was made
And again felt history's touch

On a birthday or a Christmas
Perhaps it bought a little toy
And delighted those who got it
A little frontier girl or boy

A whiskey for a cowboy
In some small Texas town
Who had to wash away the trail dust
So he laid this dollar down

A Yank or Rebel soldier
Might have held it in his hand
A groom may have used this dollar
To buy his loved one's wedding band

It may just have been there
That day when all seemed lost
When fire rained down on Hawaii's Pearl
Perhaps this dollar saw the cost

Of what use is this silver coin?
Oh, my princess, don't you see?
That what I give you with this gift
Is a piece of history

Pieces Of Ice

(m. jordan/j. capek)
Walking blind across this silver room
Looking through a smoke menagerie
Looking at your face inside of me
In the darkness youre tunisia
Nights are long entropic
I cant seem to cope
Its cold when I look in your eyes
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice
Where the zebra lightning strikes the room
Foreign words are strutted through the gloom
Women swooping down like birds of prey
Never close but never far away
Night are long entropic
I cant seem to cope
Its cold when I look in your eyes
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice
Pieces of ice

Start Again

Its winter time in the middle of the spring
I cant believe it, loneliness is calling me
And I can hear it
See I never thought Id feel this way
So soon, no...
There is something that I know I have to do
Start again
And this time Ill make it better than before
I start again
For the second time around
Ill do much more, yeah...
Cause I refuse to let life
Ill pick the pieces up
And start again, yeah
Other roads, yeah
Oh this time I must be carefu
Lwhen I choose them
See love was for the taking
But I refused it
I never thought
It cut so deep inside me
Oh no...
There is something
That I know I have to do
I start again
And this time Ill make it better than before, yeah
Start again
For the second time around
Ill do much more, yeah...
Cause I refuse to let life
Ill pick the pieces up
And start again
I cant seem to think
Of nothing better I can do
But start again
And this time Ill make it better than before, yeah
Start again
For the second time around
Ill do much more, yeah...
Cause I refuse to let life
Ill pick the pieces up
And start again...
Oh this time Ill make it better than before, yeah
Ill start again
For the second time around
Ill do much more, yeah...
Cause I refuse to let life
Ill pick the pieces up
And start again...

He Came To Earth

he came to earth to rule the nations
he came to earth for our salvation
he came to earth when mankind was in despair
he came to earth when it seemed that no one cared

his mind had been awoke
from the first moment he spoke.
he had been sent from GOD above
to show this world the peace and love
the peace that always seems to slip from our grasp
because it's something that will not last.

but his love is an everlasting fire
something which everyone desires.
a love so pure, and this love so strong
that here on earth, is where it belongs.

he preached this love for his thirty three years
something which the romans feared.
for someone who could start so young
that it had to be GODS son.

it was not the romans who took his life
but the people of his own nation
not knowing that it was for their salvation.

he knew that the treachery would come
and that a finger would be pointed.
because he was the one that GOD anointed.

his time was getting short he knew
but it was something that he had to do.

for JUDE, the time had came
as he held his head in shame

thirty pieces of silver was all it took
and with his death, the world shook.
JUDE was so ashamed of what he had done
that he went and himself he hung.

he came to earth for you and i
and for us, he did die.

A kiss

A kiss can be for good or bad
It’s known to drive a person mad.
When Judas betrayed his savior
For thirty pieces of silver
He singled Christ out so to speak
By planting a kiss on his cheek.
Then of course there’s Pygmalion
Who fell in love with what he hewn
Galatea so cold and white
He kissed her lips and brought to life.
Sometimes we kiss to right a wrong
Sometimes it’s mentioned in a song
But after all a kiss a kiss
Expressed in fourteen rhymed verses.

Sea Child

Sea child
Go swim in the sea here at home
Because it is very hot outside
And the only way for you to cool down
Is to swim in the lake
But the water is not hot in the sea
Because it is nice and cold
Sea child
Why don't you start a collection of sea shells?
And what you will need to start a collection of sea shell
Is to pick up the sea shells outside the sea here at home
Also the seashells are made of any marine mollusk

Samuel Johnson

To Mrs. Thrale on Her Completing Her Thirty-fifth Year

Oft in danger, yet alive,
We are come to thirty-five;
Long may better years arrive,
Better years than thirty-five.
Could philosophers contrive
Life to stop at thirty-five,
Time his hours should never drive
O'er the bounds of thirty-five
High to soar, and deep to dive,
Nature gives at thirty-five.
Ladies, stop and tend your hive,
Trifle not at thirty-five;
For, howe'er we boast and strive,
Life declines from thirty-five:
He that ever hopes to thrive
Must begin by thirty-five:
And all who wisely wish to wive
Must look on Thrale at thirty-five.

Stop

Gone too far
Gone too long
Messed it up completely
Till everything is wrong
Stop, start over, start again
Too many pieces
Too much to chew
How can you ever win
When youre so scared to loose
You better stop, start over, start again
Stop, start over, start again
Walk away
See what it looks like from here
If you stay you will only drown
If a mass of fear
You need to sleep
You need a break
You got to find out before its to late
Stop, start again
You better stop, start over, start again

Cloud 9

Have my love
It fits you like a glove
Join my dream, tell me yes
Bail out should there be a mess
The pieces you dont need are mine
Take my time
Ill show you cloud nine
Take my smile and my heart
They were yours from the start
The pieces to omit are mine
Have my love
Use it while it does you good
Share my highs but the times
That it hurts pay no mind
The pieces you dont need are mine
Ill see you there on cloud nine
Take my hope
Maybe even share a joke
If theres good to be shown
You may make it all your own
And if you want to quit thats fine
While youre out looking for cloud nine

Where's The Silver?

Colors, colors everywhere
Colors all around

Reds and purples and blues are there
But silver can't be found

I look around, and now I've found some yellows and some greens
I look until my eyes are sore, but silver can't be seen

I look unto the vibrant clouds, but there's no silver lining
Where is all the silver that the miners should be mining?

There are no silver bells a'ringing
The silver songbirds are not singing
The orange sun hangs in the air, but I can't find silver anywhere

I look for hours, look for days, look for silver anyplace
But there always seems to be another color in it's place

I've given up this useless search
There is no silver left to find
I dropp my head and start to cry
When out of my pocket falls a silver dime

Thirty-nine

O hapless day! O wretched day!
I hoped you'd pass me by--
Alas, the years have sneaked away
And all is changed but I!
Had I the power, I would remand
You to a gloom condign,
But here you've crept upon me and
I--I am thirty-nine!

Now, were I thirty-five, I could
Assume a flippant guise;
Or, were I forty years, I should
Undoubtedly look wise;
For forty years are said to bring
Sedateness superfine;
But thirty-nine don't mean a thing--
À bas with thirty-nine!

You healthy, hulking girls and boys,--
What makes you grow so fast?
Oh, I'll survive your lusty noise--
I'm tough and bound to last!
No, no--I'm old and withered too--
I feel my powers decline
(Yet none believes this can be true
Of one at thirty-nine).

And you, dear girl with velvet eyes,
I wonder what you mean
Through all our keen anxieties
By keeping sweet sixteen.
With your dear love to warm my heart,
Wretch were I to repine;
I was but jesting at the start--
I'm glad I'm thirty-nine!

So, little children, roar and race
As blithely as you can,
And, sweetheart, let your tender grace
Exalt the Day and Man;
For then these factors (I'll engage)
All subtly shall combine
To make both juvenile and sage
The one who's thirty-nine!

Yes, after all, I'm free to say
I would much rather be
Standing as I do stand to-day,
'Twixt devil and deep sea;
For though my face be dark with care
Or with a grimace shine,
Each haply falls unto my share,
For I am thirty-nine!

'Tis passing meet to make good cheer
And lord it like a king,
Since only once we catch the year
That doesn't mean a thing.
O happy day! O gracious day!
I pledge thee in this wine--
Come, let us journey on our way
A year, good Thirty-Nine!

Chain of Thirty Three and Bracelet of Nine

Eight years ago in old New York,
I found a special shop
With silver things from Argentina;
Quality, the top.

I bought a silver necklace there,
With links of twenty five,
To mark that anniversary,
Our married love, alive.

I was assigned to Argentina
Some ten months ago.
We thought of adding to the necklace,
Since we liked it so.

We found an expert jeweler here,
And Sellar was his name.
He thought that he could find eight silver
Links made just the same.

Well, twenty five and eight, you see,
Add up to thirty three,
Which this year marks our married love,
In anniversary.

But eight links didn't seem enough
To make it worth his while,
As Gerry felt a bracelet
Might make old Sellar smile.

So, Frank then ordered nine more links
Of silver in a chain,
To represent our children and
Configured just the the same.

Now, Gerry has a matching set,
That suits her mighty fine:
The necklace chain of thirty three,
And bracelet of nine.

(For our thirty-third wedding anniversary, April 21,1984, Buenos Aires, Argentina.)

THE COIN AND A BOY

WHY DO YOU LOOK SO UNHAPPY SONNY? A MAN ASKED A YOUNG LAD WHO HE MET ON THE WAY TO HIS STALL! AND THE BOY REPLIED THUS, SAYING, I LOST MY COIN, AND AS I CRIED, A MAN GAVE ME ANOTHER COIN! HE STATED, AND THE INQUISITIVE MAN ASKED AGAIN, IF THAT BE SO, THEN WHY DO YOU LOOK SO UNHAPPY STILL? peace of heart and pieces of heart

peace of love and pieces of love
happy if its true and sad if its bluff
