Weep Not Teardroppers
Weep not teardroppers.
Every sign of warning on the wall...
Has been flashing in visable neon.
Every messenger sent away,
Bruised and battered...
Has been sent to deliver,
What now makes you shake and shiver!
Even the one who was elected to say,
'Changes come.
And they will come to stay! '
You browbeat...
As if the signs of this,
Has not piled sky high...
On every corner of every street.
Weep not teardroppers.
Dry your eyes.
Surprising for many it may be...
But,
REALITY isn't sugarcoated!
Nor is it dipped in something sweet.
And this reality that appears...
Is 'inclusive'.
'Why?
Why are you 'always' so...
Cynical? '
Well...
That's an improvement,
Over accusations of being embittered,
Disgruntled, negative and sarcastic!
Nationalistic and racist.
What a relief!
I'm hopeful one day you will find my 'cynicism',
Rated as mundane.
And...
You are the first to encourage my excitement.
And they say people today aren't paying attention.
How wrong can those who do not listen be?
'Why are 'you' crying? '
I'm overcomed with joy!
