A Quickened Pace Erases

Cleared are those images smudged,
From a window shut and long locked.
The stains upon the framed pane,
Seemed so fixed.
So transfixed by darkness witnessed.

Until a reflection had been replaced.
With renewed cleared vision.
To show a smile on one's face.
A defection traced but long accepted.
And believing to have affected from the outside!

Not true.

A fresh stride renovates.
And a quickened pace...
Erases.
