Catch Up Cat Sups
Core goals when swallowed whole entice
as swishing wishing well tail shows
when slinking, thinking in a trice
fine feathered friend: saliva flows.
Mustache movement senses, vice
like clawed paws pre-pared for sure slice
as appetite terrific grows
anticipates high fligher’s crow
which Bastet knows proved far too slow.
One creeps, one leaps, one sweep and then
won feathered nest within one's den.
