Overcome Evil

Overcome evil with righteousness,
And set your understanding on things up high.
Do not lie to one another but,
Speak the truth always;
Let your speech always be with love,
And let it be seasoned with salt.
Like the labour of love and the patience of hope,
Like the new man and the new woman,
This world is full of strange things to see.
