New power generation
Is this paisley park?
No, this is not that record company
This is n.p.g. records
Are u conducting a talent search?
Yes, thats true
We are conducting a worldwide talent search
What are u looking 4?
What are we looking 4?
Yes
Well, first and foremost, u have 2 get free
Free?
U know, when it comes time 2 download your work into your fans computers
U cant have any other contractual obligations
Ahh
Second of all, u have 2 get smart
Wait a minute
The more substantial your education, the more substantial your income in
The new city
Really?
And thirdly and above all
What?
In the face of all adversity, u must be able 2 ...

Confessions of the Soul part 1
They say inspiration comes from passion. Skill by hard work. Constantly beating on your craft and constant effort. Talent stems from longing. The wish to belong in the greatest of your surroundings.
What we see. What we wish to be.
What we want other to do and how they perceive me.
Talent equals fun. Once the talent is combined with the skill and the inspiration it creates enlinement with what you wish to become. Pursue fun and find your talent. Do it often and search new content.
Then, you are contend.
Sonnet- Talents
Talent is something that none can erase;
It is always a God-given rich gift;
If you can nurture and become an ace,
None can prevent God's impending huge lift.
Talent is something that's hidden in you;
Within you search and 'twill come out quite true;
God rewards this way for righteousness too,
Never to many but to people few.
Talent is something all must bring it out,
To show the world that God is pleased with us;
It is God's blessing, without any doubt;
Then labour and nurture without great fuss.
Talent if nurtured, gives us happiness;
'Tis not something to keep in much harness.

Paisley Park (remix)
1 2, 1 2 3
Woo!
There is a park that is known 4 the face it attracts
Colorful people whose hair on one side is swept back
The smile on their faces, it speaks of profound inner peace
Ask where they're going, they'll tell U "Nowhere"
They've taken a lifetime lease on Paisley Park
CHORUS:
The girl on the seesaw is laughing
4 love is the color this place imparts (Paisley Park)
Admission is easy, just say U believe
Then come 2 this place in your heart
Paisley Park is in your heart
There is a woman who sits all alone by the pier
Her husband was naughty and caused his wife so many tears
He died without knowing forgiveness and now she is sad, so sad
Maybe she'll come 2 the park and forgive him
And life won't be so bad in Paisley Park
CHORUS
See the man cry as the city condemns where he lives
Memories die but taxes he'll still have 2 give
(Who?) Whoever said that elephants were stronger than mules?
Come 2 the Park and play with us
There aren't any rules in Paisley Park
CHORUS {x2}
(Paisley Park is in, yeah, your heart)
Your heart (Your heart)
Paisley Park
Your heart {x3}
(Say it is in your heart)
Paisley Park {x3

Blackheart Records being 25 years old represents staying power and the fact that we weren't able to get a record out through conventional means, so we had to create this record company to put out our records if we wanted to be a band that had records to give out to their fans.
Hidden Talent
Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Just like a person from another world
My eyes can see inside you, little girl
I see things that you dont want to see
I see things youre trying to hide from me
Im just trying to make you understand
All the ways you can affect this man
From the moment that you came in touch
With the power there to burn so much
Youve got hidden talent (yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
You know your past is whats been bugging you
If youre ready girl ... do what you gotta do
Look for your life between the lines
Bad directions and poor designs
Youve got hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out you ... got it, hidden talent, oh
With the advantage of perspective i
See theres more to you than meets the eye
But now the time must come to spread your wings and fly
Yeah (hidden talent) yeah
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out ... you got it, hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Affair without warning
Hidden talent, mmm (mmm)
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
(fade)

I Am Gifted
I am gifted,
In so many ways,
Each second, Each hour,
In smart learning days.
Gifted isn't smart,
But it can be,
That's true,
It could mean a great talent,
By me and by you!
I share my ideas,
I learn in my place,
Learn to recognize,
Each different face.
I know right from wrong,
I'm good at this too,
But some things are blank,
To me but not you.
I use my talent,
To help others too,
It might mean more hours,
In high school, it's true!
There are two kinds of talent, man-made talent and God-given talent. With man-made talent you have to work very hard. With God-given talent, you just touch it up once in a while.

Why A Genius Is So Rare?
Why a genius is so rare?
Because it’s needed time and luck for that person to find his true talent
It is needed chance and hard work to explore his hidden talent
It is needed good and understanding to accept his unique talent

Free Through Eternity
Soft in the morning
Love without warning
Peace cause theres no disguising it
When its love you cant hide from it
Now I dont want to be the shadow
When you find your new life
I only want to hold you in the dead of night
You dont have to search for me
You dont have to set yourself free
You are free through eternity
Now I have learned to sing with a steady mind
Fill the void and pass the time
And face this ground and erase the blue
When I leave the scene it all comes down to you
You dont have to search for me
And you dont have to set yourself free
You are free through eternity
Now I know its gotta be hard to find
That blessed balance - that fine line
But turn around and bless me
Or let me go in peace
I can meet you halfway
And give you all you need
But you dont have to search for me
And you dont ever have to set yourself free
You are free
Through eternity
Eternity
Eternally
You are free eternally
You are free

I did the one concert, and I was not bitten by the conducting bug, and I thought I was done, but then the phone started to ring, and gradually, over time, I started conducting more and more. Now a third of my performances are with orchestras.

Man On Wire! !
Man on wire! !
An act like magic,
With explosive fantasies;
To set the records with his talent.
Of your talent,
Of my talent,
With ideas,
With your life,
With my life,
To the people,
And, to reach to the clouds! !
To reach to the top,
To expose your talent,
Wire, tire, lire, quire, ire, mire;
But, love can help you know your name.
Man on wire! !
To the clouds,
To the stars!
To stage a walk,
But, take my life and take me for what i am.
Zaire, shire, hire, dire, fire!
Moral, loyal, royal, oral, coral, floral, rural;
Man on wire! !
All in the name of his talent for us to see.

The unknown rockstar
He sits in the park
Singing to his own tune
Strumming his guitar to his own chords
The park was rather busy this afternoon
But yet no one seems to see him
As if their life was too busy or important
To just stop and pay attention
To this one guy
Maybe just maybe
Nobody could care about this stranger
This stranger sitting at the park
Well maybe that’s not entirely true
For there is this one girl
Every chance she’s able to go
She comes to the park
In search of him
The unknown rockstar
The guy with no name
With a voice that no words could describe
His talent with a guitar that no one can match up to
He’s an unknown guy
That’s why no one notices him
That is, besides one girl
Who just notices him
As the unknown rockstar

The real issue is not talent as an independent element, but talent in relationship to will, desire, and persistence. Talent without these things vanishes and even modest talent with those characteristics grows.

Three Hours
Three hours from sundown
Jeremy flies
Hoping to keep
The sun from his eyes
East from the city
And down to the cave
In search of a master
In search of a slave.
Three hours from london
Jacomos free
Taking his woes
Down to the sea
In search of a lifetime
To tell when hes home
In search of a story
Thats never been known.
Three hours from speaking
Everyones flown
Not wanting to be
Seen on their own
Three hours is needed
To leave from them all
Three hours to wonder
And three hours to fall.
Three hours from sundown
Jeremy flies
Hoping to keep
The sun from his eyes
East from the city
And down to the cave
In search of a master
In search of a slave.

Anything
All the time you still ask me questions
You love to fill me up with emptiness
I'm a martyr in search of a party
I'm a lover in search of a quest
(Chorus)
I can see that you don't want anything
I can see sometimes you don't want me
So just love me the times that I need you
I can say then that I am still free
Free
So you want to walk to the ocean
The water
