Rift

Last night, in the moments my thoughts were adrift
And coasting a terrace, approaching a rift
Through which I could spy several glimpses beneath
Of the darkness the light from above could not reach
I spied wings of reason, herself taking flight
And upon yonder precipice saw her alight
And glared back at me one last look of dismay
As if she were the last one she thought Id betray
So much better I said to myself
And drawing quite close to the top of the shelf
I struggled with destiny upon the ledge
And gasped when defeated he slipped off the edge
And silence contagious in moments like these
Consumed me and strengthened my will to appease
The passion that sparked me one terrible night
And shocked and persuaded my soul to ignite
So much better I said to myself
And drawing quite close to the top of the shelf
I struggled with destiny upon the ledge
And gasped when defeated he slipped off the edge
And silence contagious in moments like these
Consume me and strengthen my will to appease
The passion that sparked me one terrible night
(and shocked and persuaded my soul to ignite) x5

Beauty of Silence Reminds Me of You

It's silence,
I can let my thoughts free,
I can listen the flow of water, the leaves rustling, the breeze,
I can think of nice moments that we lived, you and me.

Silence is wrapping me,
I'm seeing your footprints in the sand as you go,
Washed away by the sea in its torment,
As the beautiful moments that we had and we have lost.

Silence is beautiful, makes time to stop,
Makes us relive those throbbing moments,
That we shared once,
That we'll never forget.

I adore silence,
Beauty of silence reminds me of you,
I thought of you in my silence,
Did you ever thought of me, my love?

Night Piece

Climb, claim your shelf-room, far
Packed from inquisitive moon
And cold contagious stars.

Lean out, but look no longer,
No further, than to stir
Night with extended finger.

Now fill the box with light,
Flood full the shining block,
Masonry against night.

Let window, curtain, blind
Soft-sieve and sift and shred
The impertinence of sound.

Now draw the silence up,
A blanket round your ears;
Lay darkness close and sure,
Inverted cup to cup
On your acquiescent eyes:
Dismissing body's last outposted spies.

All Night

In the early morning hours
You and I were intertwined
We met, I saw your powers
Our love would last forever

Suddenly, there was a rift
We struggled to persevere
In the end we went adrift
And our love was nowhere near

And yet we both really cared
Stayed up all night and we talked
Rekindled the love we shared
We've been as one ever since

Till that fateful day arrived
When I held your hand all night
Then you slipped away my dear
But, I knew it was alright

Edge Of Forever

(Johnny Van Zant-Rickey Medlocke-Jim Peterik)
I hear rumors flyin
About a head on crash
At the stroke of midnight
When centuries clash
Some gonna party
Some gonna kneel and pray
Well you can quote the bible
Bribe the devil
But there's gonna be some hell to pay
We were young and innocent
Thought this day would never come
And tomorrow seemed a million miles away
Let's look each other in the eyes
And realize it could be time
To set aside our anger
And know we're all the same
Take my hand we're gonna cross the line
To a brand new day on the end of time
We're gonna rise as one or fall together
Out here on the ledge
We're standing on the edge...of forever
From the silence i hear the thunder roll
Words of the prophets echo in my soul
One salvation in the world to me
I know in my heart if we love each other
We can face what's meant to be
Now there's power in the wrong hands
A madman in a foreign land
If we don't get our senses
It's all gonna slip away
Take my hand we're gonna cross the line
To a brand new day on the end of time
We're gonna rise as one and fall together
Out here on the ledge
standing on the edge...of forever
Take my hand we're gonna cross the line
To a brand new day on the end of time
We're gonna rise as one and fall together
Out here on the ledge
standing on the edge
Out here on the ledge
Dancin' on the edge...forever
Oh oh forever oh forever

I Thought That We Were Still In Love

(liz vidal/tom snow)
Last night while we were talking the way that old friends do
I suddenly got lost in my yesterdays with you
I told you that in my heart you would always be the one
That Id lie waking in the dark, pray that you will come
But I didnt mean to say that
Somehow it just slipped out
I swear that I would take it back
If I could right now
All I ask is you believe
Id forgotten where I was
With you there so close to me
I thought that we were still in love
Oh I knew just what Id done when you stood up so fast
And say the friends that wed become cant hold on to the past
You said its been a long long time since love came to an end
If I hadnt learned to draw the line, its useless to pretend
But I didnt mean to say that
Somehow it just slipped out
I swear that I would take it back
If I could right now
All I ask is you believe
Id forgotten where I was
With you there so close to me
I thought that we were still in love
I dont think I could take goodbye, that much is still the truth
Wont you forgive me just for one night, its what a friend would do
coz I didnt mean to say that
Somehow it just slipped out
I swear that I would take it back
If I could right now
All I ask is you believe
Id forgotten where I was
With you there so close to me
I thought that we were still in love
Still in love
I thought that we were still in love

Rabindranath Tagore

Last Curtain

I know that the day will come
when my sight of this earth shall be lost,
and life will take its leave in silence,
drawing the last curtain over my eyes.

Yet stars will watch at night,
and morning rise as before,
and hours heave like sea waves casting up pleasures and pains.

When I think of this end of my moments,
the barrier of the moments breaks
and I see by the light of death
thy world with its careless treasures.
Rare is its lowliest seat,
rare is its meanest of lives.

Things that I longed for in vain
and things that I got
---let them pass.
Let me but truly possess
the things that I ever spurned
and overlooked.

Close To The Edge

All my emotion have intertwined
Or could it be that Ive lost my mind?
There is a feeling of hopelessness
Now that Ive cracked up my lifes a mess
The pressures building up
This world has got too much
Cant take society
You are my enemy
Im close to the edge
And I dont want to fall
Im losing my head
My body and soul
Im close to the edge
And I dont want to fall
Im losing my head
My body and soul
I cant stop shaking, Im so afraid
Caught in a gap between night and day
Living in silence behind closed doors
Im not the man that I was before
This grip on sanity
Is slipping out of me
The fear of facing life
There is no end in sight
If I am still that strong
Enough to just hold on
Ive got to stand and fight
In this eternal night

On The Ledge Under The Sky

You sit up high,
On a ledge under the sky,
Where wings don’t fly,
And humans don’t cry,
Up high on this ledge under the sky,
But why or why,
Do you want to fly?
When you can sit up on the sky,
And hear a voice that doesn’t die,
Or see a drifting tie,
On this ledge in the sky,
And smell a pie,
From miles and miles away a sty,
Under the sky,
Where no one can lie,
‘Cause we see everything from up high,
On this ledge under the sky,
Where you can wonder from your mind’s eye,
And your leg and thigh,
Dangle down from this ledge upon the sky,
Where one never does sigh,
Or look upon the rye,
On this ledge below the sky,
You can be a spy,
You can pry and pry,
And never will people see the tears you cry,
Up upon this ledge in the sky,
Never will you fly,
Or dream why or why,
For you’re already on the ledge under the sky.

Of old, on her terrace at evening

Of old, on her terrace at evening
— not here — in some long-gone kingdom
oh, folded close to her breast!
Our gaze dwelt wide on the blackness
(was it trees? or a shadowy passion
the pain of an old-world longing
that it sobb'd, that it swell'd, that it shrank?)
— the gloom of the forest
blurr'd soft on the skirt of the night-skies
that shut in our lonely world.
Not here — in some long-gone world...
Close-lock'd in that passionate arm-clasp
no word did we utter, we stirr'd not:
the silence of Death, or of Love.
Only, round and over us,
that tearless infinite yearning,
and the Night with her spread wings rustling,
folding us with the stars.
Not here - in some long-gone kingdom
of old, on her terrace at evening,
oh, folded close to her heart!

Its Spring And Outside New Flowers Do Appear

Its spring and outside new flowers do appear
the sweet smell of jasmine hangs on the wind,
a sparrow moves at the window
and for long moments I am blinded by your beauty
and you are in my bed, my lovely bride
when we find ardent passion with each other,
moving for moments to the edge of eternity.

I wish I could remember the first night we met

I wish I could remember the first night we met
First hour, first moments of stolen glances
Your silhouette in my arms as we lead our first dances
If I only knew back then the ordeal has a life spread

If bright or dim with summer haze that night might be
It was summer at the sill of autumn not winter for aught I can say
Yet so unrecorded the night slipped away
So blind was I to see and fore see

One cannot make the budding of his tree
That would blossom for many Mays
If I could only recollect that night of our love to be
Such a night of all nights amaze

If I only could collect back that show
And let it not come and go
As trace be in a thaw of meadow snow
But as a star that eternally at the edge of the sky glows

It seemed to mean so little then yet meant so much
If I only can recall that first touch
The first touch of hand in hand in youth dance
And forever seal this first eyes locked glance.

Is Night gentle?

Night closes doors forever
Night cures my soul as a medicine
In Night should’nt be doubted ever
Night sense increases to everything
At Night you can shed your tears
At night we are flying to planets
At Night always deadens fears
At Night we are full of violence
At Night you will close embraces –
And Night this caress will cover
At Night you’ll remove your dresses
And God blesses you, my lover
In Night rises dizziness and passion
At Night you’re with itself alone
At Night - reign, you’re free in action
At Night nothing keeps in your soul
Night reconciles spirits, right you’re
At Night it is useless to wager

In Night it is stuffy and frightful
Tonight I shall leave you like voyager...

Tested Faith

Led to believe
One amoungst them
Was beneath.
For years this perception,
Was fed and conceived.
The followers were blinded
By the one deceiving them to the ledge.
With vows they pledged to honor him...
And he took them to the edge.

They had no wings to fly.
He did not help them...
Or want them to try.
'With me you do not need them! '
They did not know he lied!

The one believed beneath them,
Although shunned and ostracized...
Explored his flights from different heights.
And did this as days went by.
Until he mastered with abilities that grew.
Soaring past those who thought they knew him...
Standing on the edge.
With no understanding where that led them!
They had fears...
No one taught them to release.

Nocturne

With eyes that are gleaming like the stars outside
you whisper about how much you miss me at times,
the rays of the silver moon splashes over you face,
hanging for moments gleaming on your forehead, chin and cheek

where it catches a teardropp that glitters like a dropp of dew
while my hand folds loving over yours
and around us the night is full of insect noises, croaking frogs
and cooing doves

but you sigh when my lips find yours,
for moments the depth of passion blinds us
and your breasts are hot, soft and round
while a smile hides at the shades of your mouth,

your figure is slim and naked
while you make unforgettable moments for me
groaning in self-satisfaction and the dark night
stretches far and wide with the coming goodbye,

where moments of moonshine are filled with fear,
about when I have got to be away out of your life.

Sunlit Path

I want the sunlit path to guide me to my destiny

Where life is raw and exciting
That rejuvenate my mind, body and soul
Where I can absorb the richness of small things
And let out my internal world of thoughts
To reconnect with peace and beauty
Where unspoken words and voices take shape
And splash light on my settled thoughts
Where wind of hope brings fresh breeze
And words have clear meanings.........

I want the sunlit path to guide me to my destiny

Where perfect pattern of life strengthen my soul
And give meanings to my lively dreams
And fresh air pours positive energy in the rush of emotions
Where I can feel the essence of joy and create peace
To release all negative thoughts
To get everlasting melodies of life
And enter into the world of love and inspiration
Where I learn to appreciate the moments of joy
And get ready to face another day...........

I want the Sunlit path to guide me to my destiny.

One By One

Bobby lakind/michael mcdonald
Where and why Im destined to go
Right here and now thats all I know
On either side future or past
Neither is real both fade so fast
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Good times are still there to find
When times are their worst
Keep your eyes open wide
cause through it all are moments that shine
And moments that glow
Im gonna be there for mine
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Even when youre close to a dream
It can still let you down
Youll always have a chance to give up
So why do it now
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay

Tenderest Moment

We go down
To a foriegn land
Dive through the clouds
You hold the guiding light in your hands
This must be all that there is
Times don't come much more beautiful
You can show me places that my eyes have never seen
I'm followin' you
Where are you taking me to?
You could be my angel who just
Walks out of a dream
I'm followin' you
Where are you taking me to?
I have all faith in you
And these tenderest moments (these tenderest moments)
We circle low
Embrace the night as she draws us in
A holy shroud
A veil to hide our tenderest moments
This must be all that there is
Times don't come much more beautiful
You can show me places that my eyes have never seen
I'm followin' you
Where are you taking me to?
You could be my angel who just
Walks out of a dream

In Human Closeness there is a Secret Edge

In human closeness there is a secret edge,
Nor love nor passion can pass it above,
Let lips with lips be joined in silent rage,
And hearts be burst asunder with the love.

And friendship, too, is powerless plot,
And so years of bliss with noble tends,
When your heart is free and known not,
The slow languor of the earthy sense.

And they who strive to reach this edge are mad,
But they who reached are shocked with anguish hard -
Now you know why beneath your hand
You do not feel the beating of my heart.
