He has a splendid repertoire of 500 words. Why does he insist on using only 150?

But a large symphony orchestra basically is a repertory company and it has a very enormous repertoire and it is important for the performers to be able to know how to shift focus so that they instantly become part of the sound world that a particular repertoire demands.

No More Gay
I don't need words as much as words need me,
For I may live in silence; not so words,
Which cannot survive in obscurity.
And oft words lose their true identity
From ill-use of vulgar mouths; blessed words-
Destroyed, defaced, banished to infamy.
O that good men could once again be gay,
Without all the confusion; splendid word
That now must die of neglect- no more gay.
God sometimes grants your prayer to punish you....
do not insist. God has a way of punishing
your unreasonable widow
persistence, the Greeks are warned
about Wooden Horses,
and Achilles' heels,
do not insist. Don't you know that sometimes
God grants prayers
purposely to punish
those who are hardheaded?
Pray what God wills you to be.
Do not insist.
God knows better
Before you were born
He knows what is in store for you
Till the last
breath. Till you dropp dead.
So do not insist
Natural laws cannot be compromised.
Legal laws maybe.
Man made ones, those that twist
and pride on
Compromises.
Do not insist. Let God flow inside your
Heart. Let the seeds grow
As he sets the fertile soil
of the mind
As he gives the light in your
Sun.
As he prunes and cuts
and Makes you
The most beautiful tree
within the forest of your tangled
hairs.

Poets’ Occupation
You insist on some occupations to grasp,
Yet lying has happened for some time.
The understanding is full, fulfilling us,
As men who bear the pains insist on us.
The warriors of controversy shake us
Around the jugular veins, where there is a deity;
The deity is wrong, fulfilling nobody
Just as skies are around to tempt.
May we insist on the men of old,
Poets who are strong and never gaining;
The ends of the story are folded
Into many chambers of the heart.

Not My Repertoire
Being assertive is not part of my repertoire,
I have never learnt to insist on the essentials
required for health and well-being, no wonder
I am scared of a world which is well-meaning
but where I cannot begin to make myself un-
derstood - I can serve others and see to their
needs - bring them the moon
Yet for my own Puritan self, one angry look
from my beloved and I wilt like a flower, one
angry word from a colleague and I tumble in
despair - I can't ask for the ergonomically
correct work space and user-friendly chair
required for a pain-free posture - trapped
in my own mind - I can't break free
Right now I wax lyrical about Pregabalin
administered as LYRICA to deaden the
nerves and scramble the signals of
neurological pain because I sit in a
chair that is breaking my back…

Splendid Questions
Going to areas of mine is splendid,
People resent this when considered.
My questions are too complex,
My wizards are too splendid,
Why do goggles blend with the motion of sight?
Never please erase a question worthy,
Anything above the ordinary.
My splendid camera of jokes is upon us,
Watching is like pain when considered.
To fascinate the brain calls an answer
To the problems of too many people who are widespread.

A real poem
What is real poem?
Is it flow of words or natural theme?
Does it echo sound of water?
Does it have capacity to alter?
To reduce the agony and pain?
To give honest call to rain
Words to flow in the direction of sea
Mix with the splendid music of tree
No words of differing
No more suffering
Helping hand with some offering
Music to their help in altering
The complete scene in harmony
Bees to sit at once place with more honey
Peace and calm with flow of words
Is it not the message of lords?
