Common-sense appears to be only another name for the thoughtlessness of the unthinking. It is made of the prejudices of childhood, the idiosyncrasies of individual character and the opinion of the newspapers.

Ones Second Thoughtlessness
Reaching up to press my best friends bell
On my tiptoes
Whatever made me climb this side of hell
Oh, God only knows
Lifting up another catch and slipping through the blind
Its... its so easy
Lighting up another match to see what I can find
Its... become so easy
But after a while
You can hear yourself breathe
What seems a long long while
You can feel yourself sealed
Ones second thoughtlessness
Nobodys home
Ones second thoughtlessness
Ones second thoughtlessness
Here up on my own
Ones second thoughtlessness
Sniffing around
Hope to get out
Smelling a scent
That something is up
Ive seen this song before
Is this the house my family lives - yes
Ah, Ive been here before
Yes, I did it because, because
Yes, I did it because
Yes, I did it because, because
Yes, yes, I did it because, because
No - because
Ones second thoughtlessness
I am my own
Ones second thoughtlessness
Ones second thoughtlessness
I stand alone
Ones second thoughtlessness

My Childhood Garden
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
lush and green
it was so happy it made me scream
my joy and hopes
and all my mopes
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
with the ups and downs
when i jumped i could not touch the ground
with my purle ponys
it made it homey
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
flying high
with the little lies
the grass fine
up in the sky my kite
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
now in the past
i now know that it can never last
now as i get taller
it was differnt when i was smaller
my childhood garden

He has the common feeling of his profession. He enjoys a statement twice as much if it appears in fine print, and anything that turns up in a footnote... takes on the character of divine revelation.

Right Now
Right now...
It does not matter that it is,
Or that it is what it is.
Maybe to you a point of view,
From another...
That is the same as the others,
Is not given the way you expected.
But that still does not change...
What remains the same.
And it is obvious your opinion that is given,
With an attached emotion that is driven...
Feeds a needing ego,
Instead of a common sense missing...
And you are in need of assistance not admitted,
That has been distanced and you could use.
Since...
Right now,
It does not matter that it is,
Or that it is what it is.
Maybe to you a point of view,
From another...
That is the same as the others,
Is not given the way you expected.
But that still does not change...
What remains the same.
And it is obvious your opinion that is given,
With an attached emotion that is driven...
Feeds a needing ego,
Instead of a common sense missing...
And you are in need of assistance not admitted,
That has been distanced and you could use...
Some sense,
Right now.

Fascist rebelliousness always occurs where fear of the truth turns a revolutionary emotion into illusions. In its pure form, fascism is the sum total of all irrational reactions of the average human character. To the narrow-minded sociologist who lacks the courage to recognize the enormous role played by the irrational in human history, the fascist race theory appears as nothing but an imperialistic interest or even a mere "prejudice." The violence and the ubiquity of these "race prejudices" show their origin from the irrational part of the human character. The race theory is not a creation of fascism. No: fascism is a creation of race hatred and its politically organized expression.

A Common Man I Am
Like any common man I grope
And struggle to survive and be
Bold with Dignity and Hope
For life is hard and not so easy.
But this I say has made me braver
My hardships laid the lessons learned
Gave Wisdom, insight, character
My joy complete, sincerely earned.
'And we rejoice in our suffering,
because suffering produces Perseverance;
Perseverance, Character; and Character, Hope.'

Predators Indebted
Preying on...
Minds that remain unconnected.
And a preying on these vacancies accepted.
Yes,
Preying on...
A thoughtlessness expected,
That rejects a common sense.
With none of it reflecting...
Those predators indebted!
Let's say it is true...
That greatness achieved,
Was done thoroughly independently.
Let's say it is true...
That a quality of life enjoyed,
Was not supplied or produced...
By foreign imports that seduced.
And deployed to introduce creature comforts,
Now demanded as entitlements.
Let's say it is true...
That land purchases and foundations treasured,
Were not bought and sold by those with cash in hand.
No matter what language was spoken,
Or where undocumented 'aliens' decided to take a stand.
And let's say it is true...
That all that we here do IS envied.
And...
Let's say this is true too...
We are predators indebted!
And beholdened to those kept,
Uknown.
Preying on...
A thoughtlessness expected.
Preying on...
Minds that remain unconnected.
And a preying on these vacancies accepted.
To stay beholdened to those kept,
Unknown!

To understand a child we have to watch him at play, study him in his different moods; we cannot project upon him our own prejudices, hopes and fears, or mould him to fit the pattern of our desires. If we are constantly judging the child according to our personal likes and dislikes, we are bound to create barriers and hindrances in our relationship with him and in his relationships with the world. Unfortunately, most of us desire to shape the child in a way that is gratifying to our own vanities and idiosyncrasies; we find varying degrees of comfort and satisfaction in exclusive ownership and domination.
