Predators Indebted
Preying on...
Minds that remain unconnected.
And a preying on these vacancies accepted.
Yes,
Preying on...
A thoughtlessness expected,
That rejects a common sense.
With none of it reflecting...
Those predators indebted!
Let's say it is true...
That greatness achieved,
Was done thoroughly independently.
Let's say it is true...
That a quality of life enjoyed,
Was not supplied or produced...
By foreign imports that seduced.
And deployed to introduce creature comforts,
Now demanded as entitlements.
Let's say it is true...
That land purchases and foundations treasured,
Were not bought and sold by those with cash in hand.
No matter what language was spoken,
Or where undocumented 'aliens' decided to take a stand.
And let's say it is true...
That all that we here do IS envied.
And...
Let's say this is true too...
We are predators indebted!
And beholdened to those kept,
Uknown.
Preying on...
A thoughtlessness expected.
Preying on...
Minds that remain unconnected.
And a preying on these vacancies accepted.
To stay beholdened to those kept,
Unknown!

Between Your Mama & Yourself
(pal waaktaar)
Hey listen honey, something you should know
This cant wait
Ive been meaning to tell you a long time ago
And todays that day
Ill put it straight
No, it just cant wait
Oh sure, it took a little time
I know thats true
But this business been preying on my mind
Since I met you
The thing is babe,
Between your mama and yourself
Forced to choose and without help
With a margin, you know its true
The one I love
Well, its eh...prpbably you
Cmon now, stay a little while
Before you go
This thing, its been preying on my mind
But even so
This I know
Youve got to know
Its got to show
Yeah, Ive got to let her go

Owe
I owe my life
To not only
Those who have
Helped me…
But to those also
Who have harmed me
For, because of them
I've learnt new ways
Of coping and protecting
Myself from this world's
Preying predators…

Is love the lore of lust
Is love the lore of lust
The primal touch, that lure, which feeds
The preying beast
Looking out at will, at any cost, by any means
To spread its ever moving genes
And if so
Help arouse the vital urges
For which the flesh searches.
It shakes the mind
And blinds the eyes
Turns naivety to desperate cries
And yet
Is readily accepted, as if
Laid out before us worldly creatures
A part of life, a destined set
With all kinds of mental tortures
Through all seasons, year and year
Never far and always here
Will it ever cease to rest
And let true platonic feeling nest
In the ignorant absorbing hearts
And free man from lust for tarts

Somethings Wrong
Somethings wrong, that restless feelings been preying on your mind
Road maps in a well cracked ceiling the signs arent hard to find
Now Im not saying that youve been mistreated
No ones hurt you - nothings wrong
A moments rest was all you needed
So pack your things and kindly move along
Like dust in the wind youre gone forever
Youre wind-blown leaves youre a change in the weather
Just a town like any other a second brand new start
A third or fourth hand wife or lover no, you wont break her heart
Take some bacon go on and leave your watch chain
She wont count on nothing more
Wrap your hands around that small change
And tiptoe barefoot out the door
Yes, somethings wrong that restless feelings been preying on my mind
When things get bad Im bound to pack my bags and just
Leave them all behind

A Touch Of Evil
You mesmerise slowly
Till I can't believe my eyes
Ecstasy controls me
What you give just serves me right
Without warning you're here
Like magic you appear
I taste the fear
I'm so afraid
But I still feed the flame
In the night
Come to me
You know I want your Touch of Evil
In the night
Please set me free
I can't resist a Touch of Evil
Aroused with desire
You put me in a trance
A vision of fire
I never had a chance
A dark angel of sin
Preying deep from within
Come take me in
I'm so afraid
But I still feed the flame
In the night
Come to me
You know I want your Touch of Evil
In the night
Please set me free
I can't resist a Touch of Evil
Arousing me now with a sense of desire
Possessing my soul till my body's on fire
A dark angel of sin
Preying deep from within
Come take me in
I'm so afraid
But I still feed the flame
You're possessing me

A Sigh At The Pier
seagull flying low
preying on fish
clouds getting dark
tides rising to the port
horizons losing grip

there are only two of us

About The Sunday Lecture On Criminal Law...
definitely unprepared to understand what crimes
other people commit without regrets
and too horrible to accept
those that came and took their seats
did not stay long for what they see
and hear is that
men are still beasts
preying on their own
kind savoring the taste of
salty blood and
bland flesh
delighting upon the misfortune of others
upon their own deaths
and vanishment...

Summer Days
a swimmer on summer days
looks at the sea
it is calm and very
lovable
endearing as the arms of
a woman
if he only knows what is deeper
than what the surface is showing him
his summer days
his beach and orange juices
he should have seen how cruel
are the sharks preying on the small fish
not reaching the fullness
of their existence
the seaweeds as usual are silent
never speaking of the dirty linens in their house
ah, these summer days
bright sun and chase of lovers
inside the cool hut
where love is made again
who cares about the story of predators
who cares about those miserable prey?

Quick Whim Mode
Access to a treasure chest!
Quality shown but goes unknown...
To the one fed sweetened snacks
By another prone,
To keep those off track!
Those who are lured...
From the safety of their nestling sacks.
Sneaking with a creep,
Who is envious of that!
A two bit con with a game going on.
Charming and preying until dawn.
Satisfying the insatiable lust...
Of one in quick whim mode!
Disregarding trust.
To return to the 'gem' at home,
With a prepared lie that's told!
Just to get tricked for the hell of it!
To please the urges of a freelancing libido.

A Moonlit Reverie
A moonlit reverie:
A jet black raven swoops
across unbroken white serenity,
filling the night
with its continual presence.
Flowing thick and smooth
from the tip of existence;
Preying upon
the minds of innocence;
thirsting for a means
to spread its power
throughout the world.
Ripples extend outward
from its tiny dropp into
the sea of existentialism,
and a lone tree waits in silence
to claim its next victim...

We're Predators and Prey
Are we truly so distant from our primitive past
Are we no longer the hunter or considered fair prey
Were the truth put before you, you’d be most aghast
There are predators among us and they hunt us each day
We’re not truly different from the ones at herds rear
Which the predator watches with hard hungry eye
The prey starts and senses, that death is quite near
On the lonely herds edges, the weak always die
Our modern world is a jungle, and human beasts are a fact
Camouflaged with normalcy, clothed in disarming disguise
Preying on the young and the weakest with terrifying tact
Before melting in to community, they disappear to our eyes
The gazelle in the herd is as the child on the walk
Safety in numbers causes inborn defenses to relax
A lion creeping closer is as a van stopping to stalk
And they’ll both culminate in deadly attacks
No.. we’re not so far distant from our primitive past
Yes.. we’re the hunter and also too, are considered fair prey
don’t allow yourself or your children to lag or be last
Yes… there are predators among us and they hunt us each day

Take My Hand
Take my hand
Cool is my head
Cool is the way to peak
Take my hand
Your footsteps, I'll take to peak
A top the mountain,
Flowers below us we'll see.
Take my hand
This ropy bridge is shaking
Below, the river twirls away
Below, I see a crocodile preying
In this river, with a laughing bottom
This river, the other side, beckoning
The wild fruits, so sweet is their juice.
Take my hand.

One True Man
You made my decision
Now take hold of my hand
And Ill promise in front of the world
To be your one true man
Ill stand among my best friends
They all understand
That Im changing for the better (yes I am)
Im your one true man
I am your one true man
Your one true man I am
Im gonna love you like no one man can
Your one true man, I am
Living wit me isnt easy
My life has its demands
But I want you to know that wherever I go
Im your one true man
I am your one true man
You one true man I am...
Sometimes I get so crazy
You get so hard to hold on to
But I wont let you go
Cus I know, I know who I am
I am your one true man
Your one true man I am
Im gonna love you like no one man can
Your one true man I am

In My Own Town
the faces of people
are still faces,
nothing there are
transformed
into animals,
that boy may look
like an urchin to
you
with spikes throughout
his hair or
that old woman
a camel with an abnormal
hunch
back
the gasoline boy
becomes
an alligator
its tongue preying
on the
cars and impatient
queues
of turtles
i still have respect
to this town
the men are men
and women
are mothers and sisters
of mine

Smile Killers
Some folks stay miserable.
They could turn their efforts,
Into a viable industry.
They are in a vortex that sucks,
Any happiness around that thrives.
Nothing is ever right with them.
Try extending good wishes...
And you'll be seeking quickly,
A place to hide.
Or a churning of the stomach is felt inside.
And they seem to be everywhere,
These smile killers.
Preying on one's joy.
And proud they are to be gifted to do it!
And don't befriend them,
Don't you dare.
As soon as they are spotted...
Be aware.
They will greet you with a negative comment.
Immediately felt polluting the atmosphere.
As if they are on a mission.

What's In Your Heart
True beauty is in the way she laughs
True beauty is in her eyes
True beauty is how she acts
True beauty is inside
True beauty is unseen
True beauty is only felt
True beauty is not mean
True beauty is herself
True beauty can't be cruel
True beauty is bare
True beauty lies within you
True beauty is always there
True Beauty can't be covered with makeup
True beauty means true love
True beauty can't be baked up
True beauty is the flight of a dove
True beauty has no flaws
For True beauty is all that matters after all
