The Chase Is Better Than The Catch
The Chase is Better Than the Catch
(Metallica - Miscellaneous)
You know I'm bad, the times I've had
I've gotta bad reputation
I don't care, I get my share
Don't feel no deprivation
The more I get the better it is
I like it fine, Like a little whizz
Treat'em like ladies, that's a fact
You know the chase is better than the catch
Silver tongued devil, deamon leach
You know just what I'm doing
I like a little innocent bitch
You know I ain't just screwing
I love you baby, love you too much
I like you fine I feel your touch
But your appearance don't hold no class
You know the chase is better than the catch
A little beauty I love you madly
Come on home with me
I know you're hot, I know what you've got
You know I want to shake your tree
Come on honey touch me right there
Come on honey don't you get scared
come on honey let me get you in the sack
You know the chase is better than the catch

Neon Dreams
To see my name in bright lights
On city billboards with flashing colors
not the Post Office wanted wall in just black and white
To see my name the headlines in bold print
not in the obituaries from a death that made no sense
To dream my dream and chase it
To dream my dream and catch it
To scream drom the tallest roof top that I have arrived
and to hear the auduence roar with applauds
that's my dream,
my neon dream....

Dream Catcher
Hanging by the window,
the dream catcher waits,
to catch me a dream, that's hopefully great.
Quiet and still, it waits in the night,
to catch a dream, traveling in flight.
Its web is of leather, its feathers light,
the magic it works, carries great height.
Will it bring me a lover, a funny story or song?
or, will it bring nightmares
where everything goes wrong...
The time is now near, for me to lie down
and wait for a dream that's happy and sound.
Dream catcher, dream catcher,
caution you please,
my heart is now calm, my mind is at ease
Go in the night and find what you will,
catch me a dream
that's meaningful and still.

Call On Me
The feelin is clear
Clear as a blue sky on a sunny day
Everything was you
cause no one made me feel
The way I felt with you
Call on me cause
I love you
You know I do
You love me too
Then came a change
When I said I would soon be leavin you
Nothin else to do
Please remember Ill never lose the thought of you
Call on me cause
I love you
You know I do
You love me too
Youve got to find
Someone else to somehow take my place
Share his love with you
But if you need a friend
You can always count on me
Count on me cause
I love you
You know I do
You love me too
You can count on me oh
You can count on me
You can count on me baby
You can count on me
You can count on me oh
You can count on me
You can count on me baby
You can count on me
You can count on me oh
You can count on me
You can count on me baby
You can count on me
You can count on me oh
You can count on me

The Dream I Chased
I chased a dream and,
I kept in my slippery hand,
You shook it,
It fell on the sand.
The bubbles burst into color
I couldn't touch it though,
It gave birth to another dream.
I chased the broken bow!
Now I am a woman of alley,
I don't chase any dream'
I don't chase the bubbles anymore
My life became a Scream!

Don`t Slow Down
You might believe, and still you feel
The chase has just begun;
That you must reach that horizon before
The setting of the sun.
You chase the light in front of you,
Nightfall close behind;
If you stop to catch your breath,
You know what you will find.
(chorus)
Don't slow down don't touch the ground,
You know what you will find;
That old grey man in tattered clothes
Following behind.
No time to stop, don't go to sleep,
Prepare to pay the cost.
The hours and minutes are passing by,
Another day is lost.
Impatience is a virtue,
Catch me if you can.
The seconds have been ticking by
Since your life began.

Take Me To The Top
We go back a long long way
And it seems like yesterdaay
When the words are spoken
Or whispered in your ear
Things have changed since we first met
You alone are more than I expect
But the good outweighs the bad
By 110 per cent
You take me to the top
Youre everything Ive got
You catch me if Im falling
Oh all the way
You take me to the top
You catch me if Im falling oh
Some things go in circles
Somethings in the air
You know just what Im feeling
You can make the difference
You know I really care
You take me to the top
Youre everything Ive got
You catch me if Im falling oh all the way
You take me to the top
You catch me if Im falling
Oh ah ah oh
If I could dream a dream
With a happy end
Youd be in it every night
Again and again
Right here by my side
Youd never go away
But Im awake
I sing I say
You take me to the top
Youre everything Ive got
You catch me if Im falling
Oh all the way
You take me to the top
You catch me if Im falling oh

Run To You
Baby, sometimes I feel like dying,
Driving while Im closing my eyes.
Moving in and out of hiding,
Trying to catch some truth in my life.
Watching your stars and your moonlight,
Come tumbling down from the sky.
Take it now.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna come to you,
I wanna find you in everything that I do.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna count on you,
Im gonna follow. baby, what else can I do?
Sunday morning, my town is sleeping.
Lying all alone in my bed,
Theres not a sound, I cant help but listening.
Wishing I was somewhere else instead.
But sometimes theyre too hard to handle,
These voices inside my head.
Listen now.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna come to you,
I wanna find you in everything that I do.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna count on you,
Im gonna follow. baby, what else can I do?
Take a walk inside my dream:
A church, a lonely road.
All the people come and go and come and go.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna come to you.
Do it now!
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna count on you.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna come to you,
I wanna find you in everything that I do.
Im gonna run to you, Im gonna count on you,
Im gonna follow. baby, what else can I do?

Someone To Get There
Time is an open book
We share our dreams together
And we will be who we want to be wherever
Life is a mystery
The world can be your saviour
But let love be your gravity forever
I'll take you to an endless dream
No matter how it all may seem
I know we'll find a way, never say "never"!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Love can take us anywhere!
Nothing can stop us now
We're strong when we're together
And every step brings us closer now forever
I'll take you to an endless dream
No matter how it all may seem
I know we'll find a way, never say "never"!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Love can take us anywhere!
We all need someone to get there, we can see love can take us anywhere
We all need someone to get there, we can see love can take us anywhere
We all need someone to get there, we can see love can take us anywhere
We all need someone to get there, we can see love can take us anywhere
Whooh Whooh Whooh
Oh yeah!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Someone to get there!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Love can take us anywhere!
Someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Someone, somewhere, somehow?!
We all need someone to get there
If you just dare
You can count on me
Someone to get there baby
Love can take us anywhere!

The Dreamer
I am the dreamer
I choose the dream
I chase the dream
The dream do not chase the dreamer
But the dreamer follows the dream
For opportunities are not given
But they are made
Because the dream can fade
Everybody want success
But success knows the dreamer
I am the dreamer

The Thrill Is In The Chase
Girls never like to know
Their love for him is true
Cause the nature of the beast
Says he wants to pursue
He wants what he cannot have
And he won't be outdone
Cause he'll always love the one that keeps him on the run
The thrill is in the chase
And I guess they know that too
Cause I've been running long and hard
And can't catch up to you
Girls if you think you've found true love
Keep your poker face
Cause I know better, the thrill is in the chase
If he's far, far away
Don't call him on the phone
Never let him know
You spend some nights alone
I can tell you one thing more
That I've found to be true
That he'll always love the one that makes him blue
The thrill is in the chase
And I guess they know that too
Cause I've been running long and hard
And can't catch up to you
Girls if you think you've found true love
Keep your poker face
Cause I know better, the thrill is in the chase
Girls if you think you've found true love
Keep your poker face
Cause I know better, the thrill is in the chase
Cause I know better, the thrill is in the chase

Saint
Im taking my time
Ill fix it, dont worry now
Im needing you there
Make sure that youre coming too
All of my life
Is all Ill give you here
The meaning of me
Is something to pursue
You think Im a saint
Its in your pretty head
Stretched out like a saint now
I love you to death
Catch another dream now
We can find them somehow
I know that theres a boy inside the man
Catch another dream now
Take all we are allowed
For I know that theres a man inside the boy
Grown ups dont know
How to dream anymore
Their heads in the sand
And they choose to ignore it all
All of my life
Is all Ill give you here
The meaning of me
Is something to pursue
You think Im a saint
Its in your pretty head

An ever-relished chase
It has been a long chase
For something or the other
Over these years
As a kid it was a chase
For toys and play things
As a student it was a chase
For marks and ranks
As a youth it was a chase
After career and growth
And later it was chase
For getting the right life partner
The chase continued
For off-springs’ upbring
It was later to chase
For helping children settle
Ageing made me chase
For cure from illnesses
And other physical malfunctions
Yes,
It was a long chase for
Something or the others all these days
One understanding dawned in me
That
You will not get that
Which you have not chased
And
You will not get every thing
Which you have chased
Even if you get the object of your chase
It is not going to be in that form
In which it was when you started the chase
Unfruitful chase proves frustrating
Fruitful chase exciting
Wisdom will tell you that
The pleasure is more with the act of chase
Than getting hold of the object of chase
Holding of the object of chase
And sustaining its charm
Are essential after the end of chase
Very likely, chase for objects of
Worldly significance
Takes away your energy
And a lot of time elapses
Before you get in possession
Of your chase-objects
The duration at times is so large
That you wonder at the end of the chase
As to what for this object has been chased
The one chase which
Has the least probability
Of ending and
You hardly get hold of the
Object of chase
Is the
Chase for self-actualization
Or self-realization
This is the chase after your spirit
That kept you going all these days
And that will keep you going
Till that time when you away
Spiritual scholars assure
That this chase is really exciting
And remains so for any long
Whether or not
You come across what you are chasing
Develop a taste for such a chase
As this chase
Never makes you tired
But helps you remain balanced, cool
And unmindful of happenings
Around you
It is indeed an ever-relished chase

I'm All That I Dream
I am all that I dream:
I am a ship out at sea,
I am a friend that is drowning,
I am helping,
I am all that I dream.
I am all that I dream:
I am something that goes bump in the night,
I am a poltergeist,
I am your worst nightmare,
I am all that I dream.
I am all that I dream:
I am a rainbow,
I am letting you fall,
I am not going to catch you,
I am all that I dream.

Count Me Out
Count me out
Count me out
Fellas want to hang
And save tonight just
For the gang
But youll have to count me
Out this time
If I cant bring my girl
Dont look surprised
When I tell you that
Gotta spend some time
With my baby, yes
So if that means
Were gonna rain on
Your parade
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count me
Out
Youll have to count me out
I wanna be with my girlfriend
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
When she asked me please
Could I say no and feel at
Ease
If you count me out tonight
Shes gonna be with me wherever
I go
Shes got a sweet personality
She saves her kisses just for me
So if that means were gonna rain on
Your parade
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count
Me out
Youll have to count me out
Im saving kisses for my baby
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count
Me out
Youll have to count me out
My baby wants to be with me
Youll have to count me out
Thats the way its gonna be
Youll have to count me out
Count me out
Count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count me
Out
Youll have to count me out
I wanna be with my girlfriend
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count
Me out
Youll have to count me out
Im saving all my loving for her
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
I love my baby but shes just a
Tease
And when I need her I say please,
Please, please
Can I hold you,
Squeeze you,
Cause I need you
Count me out
Youll have to count me out
This time
Dont count me out
Dont leave me out
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
Count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
Count me out
Youll have to count me out
Man, were going to the movies
Then to the park, to play a little
Ball till it get dark
Thats what being young is all about
Man, c-o-u-n-t me out
Well what about us,
Were your friends
We wanna c-o-u-n-t
Me in,
No not tonight
Where you going then
Tonight I wanna be with my girlfriend
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
Youll have to count me out
This time
Youll have to count me out
Count me out
Count me out
Count me out
Dont count me out
Dont leave me out
Youll have to count me out
Youre gonna have to count
Me out
Youll have to count me out
Im saving kisses for my baby
Youll have to count me out

Sonnet 143: Lo, as a careful huswife runs to catch
Lo, as a careful huswife runs to catch
One of her feathered creatures broke away,
Sets down her babe and makes all swift dispatch
In pursuit of the thing she would have stay,
Whilst her neglected child holds her in chase,
Cries to catch her whose busy care is bent
To follow that which flies before her face,
Not prizing her poor infant's discontent:
So runn'st thou after that which flies from thee,
Whilst I, thy babe, chase thee afar behind;
But if thou catch thy hope turn back to me,
And play the mother's part: kiss me, be kind.
So will I pray that thou mayst have thy Will,
If thou turn back and my loud crying still.

Ill Be Waiting
Once I had a friend that I could count on
So I thought
Well so it seemed
But times of need are not enough
To prove your friendship to me now
Once I saw a face that I believed in
But a mask was all there was
So who wears the masks and who wears the faces
Well I guess Ill never know
But as I stand here alone in a room full of people
With nothing to say
Beer on their minds, and smoke in the air
Call them feiends but they just dont care
Friend for life
Such shallow words for brokrn minds
Show me a friend for life
Cause Ill be waiting for that day to arrive
When Ill feel alive
Ill be waiting for that day
Once I found a love I had to know
Now we might know each other just too well
Cause when were together we just cant get enough
Or is it we just cant get what we want
Once I saw a dream, I had to chase it
Dreams quickly turn to reality
Whos at fault in this game of yours and mine
Well I guess Ill never know
But as I sit here alone
Think of the girl who came softly inside me
The look in her eyes, the smell of her hair
Call her my own but is she really there?
Love for life
Such noble words for noble minds
Show me a love for life
Cause Ill be waiting for that day to arrive
When Ill feel alive
Ill be waiting for that day
Once I had a friend that I could count on
Times of need are not enough
Once I found a love I had to know
Now we might know each other just too well
Once I saw a dream I had to chase it
Dreams quickly turn to reality
Now let me close my eyes
Because I dont want to see anymore
