High On Jesus
(kinky friedman)
Walking down division street
I happened on to meet
A stranger with a package in his hand.
He said, mister, if you follow me
Rainbow colors you will see,
Ill take your head into the promised land.
friend, I dont need your stuff,
My jesus is enough.
You see them colors bright,
Why cant you see the light ?
Lets get high on jesus, high on jesus,
I believe that he was here in town.
Flying high on jesus, high on jesus,
Im so high Im never coming down.
One man buys a nickel sack,
Another buys a cadillac,
They both think they will drive their cares away.
But neither thinks to lend a hand
To help his struggling fellow man,
Theyd better buy their tickets now for judgment day.
Oh, friend, lets try to score
For peace and not for war,
For love and not for hate
Before it gets too late.
Lets get high on jesus, high on jesus,
Aint you ever heard the nashville sound ?
Flying high on jesus, high on jesus,
I guess, my friend, the lord still gets around.
An angry mob confronted me
By the university,
down with this and down with that they cried.
A burning bottle in his hand,
A long-haired youth screamed, come on, man,
The conscience of america has died!
friend, I dont get my kicks
Starting fires and throwing bricks,
I pray someday you find
The gentle reason im
So high on jesus, high on jesus,
They tried to put his body under ground.
Flashing high on jesus, high on jesus,
But friend, you just cant keep the good man down.
Oh, lets get high on jesus, high on jesus,
They tried to put his body under ground.
Flashing high on jesus, high on jesus,
But friend, you just cant keep the good man down.

I Believe In Jesus
Ran into mother mary down on line
Street in l.a.
She was preaching the gospel
She was singing how jesus saves
When a crowd of passing tourists
Looked to see what they could see
You know before they know it she had
Them all down on their knees
I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I already been through hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
Now jesus was a little lamb, his fleece
Was white as snow
And every where that jesus went
This lamb is sure to go
Well I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I saved my soul from going to hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
Look at the sheep cause theyre
Running fast
They wanna make it through the gates
At last
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
I believe in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus.....

The touch of Jesus - Part 5
The touch of Jesus makes me feel so whole
The touch of Jesus purifies my soul
The touch of Jesus cleanses me from sin
The touch of Jesus gives me peace within
High on the mountain top God's voice I heard
And fell to the ground on hearing His word
Terrified by what I had just been through
But You touched me and I saw only You
O Jesus
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who was the Word of God…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and was always in the Thoughts of God…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who was born of the Virgin Mary…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, and peace be upon his mother Mary…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who the Holy Spirit of God was given…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who in the name of God, casted out demons…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one they said slanderous things about…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one they tried to blot out…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and was sinless…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came to the temple and became relentless…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came to the Israelites to teach them the Gospel…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and did things that were impossible…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who is the Prophet and Christ…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who the Scriptures prophesised…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who Almighty God raised up…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who Almighty God will send back and amaze us.

Hope Set High
Amy grant
Copyright 1991 age to age music, inc. (ascap), adm. by reunion music group, inc.
This song is dedicated to the kids at the loft and those rappin, wacky grey shirts.
Ive got my hope set high
Thats why I came tonight
I need to see the truth
I need to see the light.
Ive got my hope set high
Thats why I came tonight
I need to see the truth
I need to see the light
And I can do my best
And pray to the father
But the one thing I ought to know by now
When it all comes down
When it all comes down
If theres anything good that happens in life
Its from jesus.
You know that when it all comes down
When it all comes down
If theres anything good that happens in life
Its from jesus.
Ive got my hope set high
And like a star at night
Out of the deepest dark
It shines the purest light.
Ive got my hope set high
Beyond the wrong and right
I need to see the truth
I need to see the light.
Cause I can do my best
And pray to the father
But the one thing I ought to know by now
When it all comes down
When it all comes down
If theres anything good that happens in life
Its from jesus.
Ill tell you when it all comes down
When it all comes down
If theres anything good that happens in life
Its from jesus.

That's Jesus
THAT'S JESUS
WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING
PUT MY FEET ON THE FLOOR
I THANK HIM FOR THE DAY
THAT HE GAVE ME ONE MORE
I GIVE HIM ALL THE PRAISE
THE ONE THAT I ADORE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS
I WAS LOST AND ALL ALONE
MY HEART IN NEED OF HELP
I FOUND ETERNAL LIFE
AND LOST MY FEAR OF DEATH
BECAUSE I KNOW THE AUTHOR OF
MY EVERY BREATH,
OH THAT'S JESUS, THAT'S JESUS
GOD OF GLORY, MAJESTY
THE HOLY ONE WHO DIED FOR ME
WHO'S THE ONE I LONG TO SEE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS
IF YOU'RE A SOUL THAT'S LOST
AND IN NEED OF DIRECTION
YOU WONDER WHEN YOU DIE
IF YOU'LL GO TO HEAVEN
WELL FRIEND I'VE FOUND THE ANSWER
TO THAT VERY QUESTION
THAT'S JESUS, THAT'S JESUS
GOD OF GLORY, MAJESTY
THE HOLY ONE WHO DIED FOR ME
WHO'S THE ONE I LONG TO SEE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS

Drugs Or Jesus
In my hometown
For anyone that sticks around
You're either lost or you're found
There's not much in between
In my hometown
Everything's still black and white
It's a long long way from wrong to right
From Sunday morning to Saturday night
Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
We follow the roads that lead us
To drugs or Jesus
My whole life
I tried to run I've tried to hide
From the stained glass windows in my mind
Refusing to let God's light shine down on me
Down on me
Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
There's not much space between us
Drugs or Jesus
We all just want some proof
Everyone's just looking for the truth
Everybody just wants to get high
Sit and watch a perfect world go by
We're all looking for love and meaning in our lives
We follow the roads that lead us
To drugs or Jesus
To drugs or Jesus
To drugs or Jesus
Oh, I need you Jesus
Hallelujah

Sonnet: The Name of Jesus…
The name of Jesus gives us grace anew;
The name of Jesus cures minds of evils;
The name of Jesus portrays divine view;
The name of Jesus drives away devils.
The name of Jesus works great miracles;
The name of Jesus brings solace to all;
The name of Jesus flashes parables;
The name of Jesus makes a clarion call!
The name of Jesus wards off dangers great;
The name of Jesus acts like holy knives!
The name of Jesus changes sad a fate;
The name of Jesus saves all sinners’ lives.
The name of Jesus will convert a soul;
The name of Jesus leads souls to God’s goal!

Prayer Against The Spirit Of Lust
• Man is a slave to lust. I am the most high child of the Most High
God. I will never be a slave to lust, in the name of Jesus.
• I will not lust after anything, and my God will give me the grace to
do things according to His will, in the name of Jesus.
• I will be moderate in everything that I do, and my God will bring
balance in all things, in the name of Jesus.
• I will not lust after the things of this world but focus on things in
heaven, which are permanent, in the name of Jesus.
• My righteousness and my uprightness will deliver me. I will not be
caught lusting after things, in the name of Jesus.
• I will not lust in my heart to dishonor my body, the temple of the
Holy Spirit, in any way, in the name of Jesus.
• Heavenly Father, purify my thoughts and
let my ways be pleasing to You.
• I bind any spirit that may cause me to lust after things that will not
glorify the name of God in my life, in the name of Jesus.
• I bind any spirit that may cause an intense and excessive craving for
things that do not matter, in the name of Jesus.
• I bind any spirit that may cause an overwhelming desire to do things
that will make me sin against my Father God, in the name of Jesus.
• I come against every strong sexual desire, in the name of Jesus.
• I come against every wrong motive in doing things that may damage
my life, in the name of Jesus.
• I will not regret anything I do, for all of me and my thoughts are in
the hands of the Almighty God, in the name of Jesus.
THE MAGNIFICENT 333 PRAYERS 81
• I know, my Lord God, that You are able, and abundantly able, to
deliver those who trust in You, in the name of Jesus.
• I will not lust after things thereby falling into the trap set by the
enemy for me, in the name of Jesus.
• The grace to focus on things of God, grant it unto me, O Lord, in
the name of Jesus.
• The zeal to do things of God, grant unto me, O Lord, in the name
of Jesus.
• The enthusiasm to hang around people of God, grant unto me, O
Lord, in the name of Jesus.
• Empower me not to lust after anything that does not matter and
that will not glorify Your name, in the name of Jesus.
• Lust is to live unguided to Satan’s strain. This will never be my
portion, in the name of Jesus.
• Forever I am delivered from the Spirit of LUST, in the name of God
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ,
I pray with thanksgiving. Amen.

Hymn 43
Oh father high in heaven -- smile down upon your son
Whose busy with his money games -- his women and his gun.
Oh jesus save me!
And the unsung western hero killed an indian or three
And made his name in hollywood
To set the white man free.
Oh jesus save me!
If jesus saves -- well, hed better save himself
From the gory glory seekers who use his name in death.
Oh jesus save me!
I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon --
His cross was rather bloody --
He could hardly roll his stone.
Oh jesus save me!

Higher Ground
This day you can have abundant life, through The Lord Jesus Christ,
As many men today have found, their feet planted on higher ground.
High above this earth that we trod, planted by the very Hand of God,
The ground, on which we stand, is the Eternal Rock, the Son of Man.
Guided with loving staff and rod, up to the Lord God’s heavenly sod.
Friend it was God who loved us first, and gave to us a second birth.
When found upon a fallen earth, God placed upon us special worth.
Living an abundant life of joy within, as Christ lifts us above old sin.
Christ will dwell in us down here, and in our heart He’s always near.
By His Grace God guides our steps, high above the valley’s depths.
A full earthly life is one thing friend, but how and where does it end?
Just Who or what sustains your life, if it’s not The Lord Jesus Christ?
And should you have a time of grief, where do you friend find relief?
For a sure place, there’s only one, that is God’s Only Begotten Son.
A stable land both now and when, the present one comes to an end.
Christ is the only stable ground, where a lasting peace can be found.
And it is not an earthly peace, and coming from God it will not cease.
All this is held together by The One, we all know as God’s Own Son.
And heights which we can ascend, in Christ Jesus will have no end,
While Eternal Life is our reward, for standing high in Christ our Lord.

Jesus's Job!
you took Jesus's job,
and sent it overseas...
always thinking of the bottom line.
and now his benefits
have run out!
you've got an angry
Jesus with a gun,
and a hungry family,
on the streets.
black Jesus, white Jesus,
brown Jesus, red Jesus...
it dont matter,
take your pick...
he's standing in your doorway!

Nothing But the Blood
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my pardon this I see -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing, this my plea -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Nothing can for sin atone -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Naught of good that I have done -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my hope and peace -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness -
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
CHORUS
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Prayer against Waywardness and Youthful Exuberance
My child, you are created for signs and wonders. You will be a sign and
wonder to your generation, in the name of Jesus. The Lord God
will grant you the grace not to turn away from what is right and to
pursue His righteousness, in the name of Jesus.
May God grant you the grace to do what is right and proper in the eyes
of God and man, in the name of Jesus. May God grant you, my
child, the grace to do things willingly to meet the standards of the
Most High God, in the name of Jesus.
May God grant you, my child, the grace not to be disobedient, but
rather you will obey the commandments of God and the rules and
regulations of the society in which you live in.
My child, you will not sway or be prompted by caprice, in the name of Jesus.
My child, you will not do anything contrary to the will of God, in the
name of Jesus.
My child, you will neither be strong-headed nor stubborn, in the name
of Jesus. You will not be difficult to talk to nor be arrogant. Your
attitude will be that of Christ’s, in the name of Jesus.
Almighty God, uphold my child with Your mighty hand, and let Your
mighty hand rest upon him/her, in the name of Jesus. My child will
not be incorrigible. My child will be open to correction to know and
do things better.
THE MAGNIFICENT 333 PRAYERS 59
Unchangeable Lord God, change my child for the better, and let there
be total turnaround in my child’s life. My God, bless my child with
the enthusiasm to know You and serve You wholeheartedly, in the
name of Jesus.
My child will not be overwhelmed with the youthful exuberance to do
the wrong things, in the name of Jesus. Waywardness will not be the
portion of my child, in the name of Jesus.
My God, cut off the excessive behavior that will lead my child astray,
in the name of Jesus. My child will not be reckless or extravagant in
spending, in the name of Jesus.

Jesus Is The Main Man
Jesus is the main man.
That's it.
No more comments!
Jesus is the main man.
You can zip your parted lips, now!
Jesus is the main man.
Forget those pity stops at pits.
Jesus is the main man.
This you 'must' admit, now!
Jesus is the main man.
That's it.
No more comments on it made...
To degrade or say what else may fit.
Jesus is the main man.
Know this,
And get lifted quick!
Jesus is the main man.
Understand this as best you can.
Jesus is the main man.
Commanded when you pray,
Now!
Jesus is the main man.
That's it...
No need for further comments on it!
Jesus is the main man.
He's like a gift one gets,
To share unlimited!
Jesus is the main man.
It's hard to sit still,
When something received
Is known
To be real!

Go, Tell It On The Mountain
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
Our jesus christ is born
When I was just a learner
I sought by night and day
To have the good lord help me
To guide me on my way
For I am like a shepherd
My hopes and faith to guard
Each day I find the answer
And love is my reward
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
Our jesus christ is born
The shepherds kept their watching
Oer silent flocks by night
When lo! throughout the heavens
There shone a holy light
The shepherds feared and trembled
When high above the earth
Rang out an angels chorus
To hail our saviors birth
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
Our jesus christ is born
Go, tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain
Our jesus christ is born
Our jesus, jesus christ is born
That jesus christ is born
Go and tell, tell it on the mountain
That jesus christ, christ is born

My Jesus
My Jesus is like a voice in the dark
My Jesus is like a lonely warning
My Jesus is like a fear that haunts me
My Jesus is like a tortured memory
I'm Praying for my soul
My Jesus is a collector of pain
My Jesus says
"Pain will prove you love me"
My Jesus is like a shadow crawling
My Jesus says
"Their screams will guide you to me"
I'm Praying for your soul

By His Hand
Be still to watch the Hand of the Lord, as our ways are not ignored,
By Jesus Christ, throned high above, any trial, which you speak of;
There is purpose in our trials friend, as many will see come the end,
When in Christ you take your stand, as He guides us with His Hand.
God’s Hand held up high, shall guide, all those who in Christ abide,
As Believers wait upon The Lord, His Grace, down on us is poured,
Filling us with peace, from up above, as God guides is in His Love,
With His Purpose above our ways, as Christ guides us all our days.
God has His Uplifted Hand, raised to guide us in ways He planned,
Planned before we were on earth, even well before our natural birth,
Friend, even when we lived in sin, well before, any thoughts of Him,
God’s Plan led us to Jesus Christ, to receive from Him Eternal Life.
God’s Hand indeed guides all of us, all who belong to Christ Jesus,
He Who redeemed us from the fall, daily guides and protects us all,
God guides us on a path of Grace, as we learn to seek Gods Face,
For God’s Will shall surely be done, as we’re led by Christ, His Son.
By His Hand, He will take us home, where we’ll gather at His Throne,
High above all the earthly clouds, gathered round Heavenly Crowds,
As we join God’s Heavenly Throng, we shall join in praise and song,
To our Lord God through eternity, for all He’s done, for you and me.
