Shakin' All Over
Well i feel you right up close to me
That's when i get the shakes all over me
Well it quivers in my backbone
Ooh the shakes in the kneebone
Ooh shakin' in the thighbone
Shakin' all over
I went to see the doctor just the other day
I'm about to tell you what the man had to say
He said well you shiver in your backbone
Ooh the shakin' in the kneebone
Ooh movin' on the backbone
Shakin' all over
Well you, you quivers in your backbone
Ooh the shakes in your kneebone
Well shakin' in the backbone
Yeah, i was
I was
Shakin' all over
Shakin'
Shakin'
Shakin' all over
Shakin'
Shakin'
Shakin' all over
Shakin'
Shakin'
Shakin' all over

I Grow Old
I grow old I should feel the cold
I grow old I should have grey hair
I grow old I should sit and stare
I grow old I should have false teeth
I grow old I should have poor sight
I grow old I should forget to write
I grow old I should have aches and pains
I grow old I should 'stroll down memory lane'
I grow old I should walk with a stick
But as I grow old I KICK ASS!
And that's about it!

I Grow Old
i grow old, i grow old
i shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled
and steal from TS Eliot
thinking no-one knows
i grow old, i grow old
i shall cease to do what i am told
and stay in bed till sunset
when the weather gets too cold
i grow old, i grow old
i shall only wear my crumpled clothes
and look disdainfully at others
when they roll up their nose
i grow old, i grow old
i shall watch events unfold
and take a greater pleasure
in an elder statesman role.
i grow old, i grow old
i shall never play lawn bowls
and never will watch cricket
that's too boring for the soul.
i grow old, i grow old
but i shall never be so bold
as to admonish others
when my views they do not hold.

Let us say cheers! ! !
when we grow grapes,
the bounty is huge,
what else be done,
brew it into wine.
When we grow barley,
the bounty is large,
what else be done,
brew it into beer.
When we grow rice,
the bounty is plenty,
what else be done,
brew it into vodka.
When the clime is extreme,
the fingers are numb,
breathing cold air,
can be hotter,
when you have a peg.
When the clime is extreme,
even the palms sweat,
breathing hottest air,
can be cooled down,
when you drown the chilled beer.
When you have moderate climate,
when you grow nothing in extra,
when you have hungry families,
why the liquor is sold
to the poor peasant?
for the revenue of the government?
Is climate a real reason,
for human to consume alcohol,
an item not food?
social drinkers,
compulsive drinkers,
addicted drinkers,
who ever we are,
we have the reasons,
to justify our actions.
in the name of liberty,
freedom and individuality,
without considering,
the welfare of the fellow human,
who may be strong and weak.
Holding a glass of water,
I say cheers to you, guys,
in the name of liberty,
freedom and individuality,
as I have no backbone,
to tell you not to drink.

Grow
Grow.
Difficult it is.
And in the doing,
It is magical too.
If you,
Allow yourself to grow.
And not gloat upon your sensitivities.
With emotions on your sleeve to show.
Slow and determine,
To acquire knowledge.
And not upon it sit.
Become more inquisitive...
About life as it exists.
Don't permit,
Given criticisms to stop your quest.
The more that is learned,
The more of them...
May just manifest.
Grow.
It will become easy to be embittered,
By all that appears stagnant.
But a patience that develops,
Will within you begin to navigate...
Over obstacles and things that irritate.
You can and will,
Grow.
Show it with defined purpose.
Grow.
Don't fear ignorance.
Grow.
Overcome it like hopping a fence.
You can and will,
Grow.
Don't sit and bemoan your fate.
Grow.
Ignorance is not bliss.
Grow,
Ignorance can twist,
An unconscious mind into bits!
You can and will,
Grow.
Like a flower that blooms.
And reaches towards the sky.
Grow.
Do not deny it as life passes you by!
Grow.
Learn to fly and soar!
You can and will,
Grow.
Make opportunities for yourself,
And unlock...
All of those locked up doors,
You allowed to close before.
You can and will,
Grow.
Difficult it is.
Grow.
And in the doing.
Grow.
You can and will,
Grow.
It is magical too.
Grow.
If you decide to...
Grow.
Grow.
Grow.
Allow yourself to grow.
And not gloat upon your sensitivities.
With emotions on your sleeve to show.
You can and will,
Grow!
And let that be your mission.
Grow.
Knowing it is your ammunition.
Grow.
You can and will,
Grow.
Grow.
Grow!

Now That Youre Gone
(bernard edwards/nile rodgers)
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
Im living my life all alone
Or hit by a blow
To my pride
But Im doing ok
I wont let you see
What this has done to me
I guess Ill just take it in stride
Come what may
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
How can one do what should be done by two
I guess thats a crazy question to ask
I might seem happy
But dont be fooled by my appearance
Make no mistake
Im just wearing a mask
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long
My nights grow long
Now that youre gone
My nights grow long

Shakin All Over
When you move in right up close to me
Thats when I get the shivers all over me
Shivers down my backbone
I get the shakes in the thighbone
Shivers in my knee bone
Shakin all over
Just the way you say goodnight to me
Theres a feeling on the side of me
Shivers down my backbone
I got the shakes in my thighbone
Shivers in my kneebone
Shakin all over
Just the way you say goodnight to me
Brings a feeling Im inside of me
Shivers down my backbone
Ive got the shakes in my thighbone
Oh shivers in my knee bone
Im shakin all over
Im shakin all over
Im shakin all over
When youre moving right up close to me
Thats when I get the shivers all over me
Just the way you say goodnight to me
Brings a feeling outside of me
Im shakin all over
Im shakin all over
Im shakin all over

The Will Power
“Hard work is the Backbone of Success”,
Is the famous proverb, around the world.
But what’s more,
No one can Work,
Let alone do hard work, without their Will Power.
So,
It’s the Will Power, which makes you do what you do.
It’s the Will Power, which brings you Success.
It’s the Will Power, which takes you higher and higher.
And,
It’s the Will Power which is the backbone of Hard work.

Get Stiff Quick
When your backbone bends,
And your vision dims...
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
When you know you need to move,
From foolish doers...
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
No need to put up more with that funky stuff.
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
No need to ride a roller coaster,
You know was tough.
No need to do a shuffle singing those sad songs.
Or get along with others you wish from you gone!
Just,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick!
When your backbone bends,
And your vision dims...
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
Mean what you say and be done with it.
You've got to,
Get stiff...
Get stiff quick!
Don't let just anything fall from your lips.
Or bite your tongue to let an old patience sit.
When you wish to make a point you know wont quit.
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.
You've got to,
Get stiff.
Get stiff quick.

Outgrowing Childhood
Child you will grow tall
You will grow big
Instead of being a doll
You'll be in grownup's league!
Child you will grow smart
You will grow sly
Losing innocence of heart
You'll no more be a butterfly!
Child you will grow high
You will grow tough
A hardened guy
You'll be a different stuff!

Final Deed
Here you are once again asking for my help.
What is it this time? Can you not handle this
on your own or are you incapable of that much.
I won't be here forever to protect you and your
people. I am not immortal nor am I untouchable.
You call me a hero when I am nothing like it. You
only call me that cause you think I am saving you
when all I am really doing is making you more
dependant upon me. I am not a hero for if I
am anything Im a renegade with no rules, no
sorrow nor any remorse. You are nothing more to
me then a bunch of weaklings who have become a
nusense. It always something with you. I shall help
you this one last time. Consider this my last deed
for you and never call upon me again to save
you or your people. It is time for you to grow a
backbone and stand up for yourself. I pity those
who think I am a hero....they are soon to find out
different...I am a hero no more....

Public Places
Sometimes the sun sets sideways
And pushes outdoors all of your hopes,
Like Cinderella is sweeping
Her eyes so beautiful but no one cares,
And her lover comes with candles in his beard
All tide up in nooses for little dreams,
Somnambulant toddlers culled from the waves,
And now they say that they have no backbone,
But even Satan has a backbone,
Even when he is lighter than the clouds
And caracoling the moon,
And the traffic sings his praises and dances
Every which way it can,
As Evan comes down from the uninhabitable
Mountain sideswiping with his brother,
As Sharon is in her little joys and her little stores,
Mopping up with all her eyes,
And I would just like to be as beautiful as her
Shadow
Coming down the mountain trying to make friends
And kiss strangers through the brambles and
Spikenard of my motionless bicycles,
Those things that are too hard to say and which
Most beautiful women would prefer not to
Hold hands with in public places.
