Here I am alone in somber;
as I rest calmly here in my chamber.
Suddenly there rose a clatter;
for I hear it calling out to me;
'Who's there that my eyes cannot see? '
I said as the voices replied,
'Misery is me, I am your misery.'
I rose from my slumber;
with haste of morning ember;
to be stopped by an essence of me.
'How can this be? ' I said. 'Truly it can't be me.'
This is too real even for a dream;
truly it cant even be a ream.
'So who are you to be a reflection of me? '
Thus he replied, 'I am your misery.'
He said he is my misery;
if that is the case how can that be?
for I've held this pain in for so long;
that I do not know what went wrong;
for I am also numb,
weary, dreary, and some;
for I know not what would become of me;
if I was to set it free.
For I know now that this will be the end of me;
to be killed by my own misery.
I reach deeply within myself letting loose of my feelings;
as my misery whispered in my ear; he said, 'Your time is near.'
Must this be, for I feel that I'm not ready?
For all the things that I have done, I am truly sorry.

Finding The Good
I was once told take the good out of every situation. But where is that? The wind has blown the grass flat. The glass was broken. So it cant be half full any more. When I'm sober, I see the tears poor. I walked out the door, never to turn back. I was once told take the good out of every situation. Just where is that? Its like some hidden contract. Where do I sign? Read it. Oh never mined. I get on a train to nowhere, anywhere but here. To hell with the white tailed dear. It will snow then it will go like they always do. I was once told take the good out every situation. Just where is that? Tell me where is it? I must have missed it by miles. Maybe I lost in a file. I feel just like a child. Its all pretend. Happy I was to hear her voice, happy and renewed.
“THE SECRET” my eyes caught over my shelf…They say Art is a recreation,
So there I kept for motivation, as for “THE SECRET” was long before my inspiration.
There she was, my mom so glad, and me too, for her. So I asked, what is it mom, that you want?
- “A Million Dollars for you my daughter”… Tired I was, as for hours awake searching for my new destination,
when time comes for my vacation,
on the phone, holding myself up to hear my mom’s voice, because happiness was hers to share…
