Are You Sincere?
The words you said to me,
you repeat to someone new.
You say the things I want to hear,
but are you sincere?
I sit alone and wonder,
if your words are meant for me,
that I am the only one that you hold dear.
However, my mind keeps nagging, are you sincere?
Friends tell me stories about you,
I do not want to believe.
You just say the words are all lies.
In my mind the questions still arise, are you sincere?
I find the back door open,
when I come home at night.
You say you left it open in a state of fear.
As I close and lock it I wonder, are you sincere?

Are You Sincere
(words & music by wayne walker)
Are you sincere when you say I love you
Are you sincere when you say you love me too
Oh and are you really mine every day, all the time
Ive gotta know which way to go
Will our love grow, are you sincere
Are you sincere when you say I love you
Honey, are you sincere when you say you love me too
And are you really mine every day, all the time
Ive gotta know which way to go
Will our love grow, are you sincere

One is better off seated than standing. lying than seated, asleep than awake, and dead than alive.
Song
I told my nymph, I told her true,
My fields were small, my flocks were few,
While faltering accents spoke my fear,
That Flavia might not prove sincere.
Of crops destroyed by vernal cold,
And vagrant sheep that left my fold;
Of these she heard, yet bore to hear;
And is not Flavia then sincere?
How, chang'd by fortune's fickle wind,
The friends I loved became unkind;
She heard, and shed a generous tear;
And is not Flavia then sincere?
How, if she deign'd my love to bless,
My Flavia must not hope for fress;
This, too, she heard, and smiled to hear;
And Flavia, sure, must be sincere.
Go shear your flocks, ye jovial swains;
Go reap the plenty of your plains;
Despoiled of all which you revere,
I know my Flavia's love sincere.

To a Lady
WELL you Sincerity display,
A virtue wond'rous rare !
Nor value, tho' the world should say,
You're rude, so you're sincere.
To be sincere, then, give me leave ;
And I will frankly own,
Since you but this one virtue have,
'Twere better you had none.

Like my colleagues, I did about 10 to 15 town hall meetings on this issue; and what I found is people came with a sincere interest to learn, a sincere interest to cut through the rhetoric and understand how this Medicare bill impacts them in their daily lives.

One of the great things about being recognized is that you receive this feedback from people. It is easy to see how sincere people are. It's nothing fake or jive. They're giving sincere appreciation. And it's not that easy to express.

Inner Peace And The Sound Of The Electric Saw
from where i am seated
beyond the fence of this old ground
they that do not mind the murder of peace
keeps on sawing what wood is left for the hands of this world to feel.
the roots cannot grow by themselves
when all the leaves fall when all the branches are cut
this greed for furniture this amassing of rails and stairs and door jams.
i am seated on a piece of ground without grass.
this is what is left of me in the middle of my quest for peace amidst this chaos.

Be sincere
The child is sincere in what it does;
With no goal set, it will not be tense.
Man is serious in what he does;
With a goal set, he will be tense.
Be sincere rather than serious;
While in action, you live your life.

I've Learned To Agree
If I express with a courtesy and respect I give,
Naturally.
I overhear whispers spoken
Of how phony I am.
And my caring is not sincere.
If I ignore those I suspect,
Have nothing else by conflict to address.
I overhear whispers spoken
Of how phony I am.
And my caring is not sincere.
If I am alone and by myself,
Since it is a peace of mind
I enjoy and wish it kept.
I overhear whispers spoken
Of how phony I am.
And my caring is not sincere.
And
If for no reason,
I laugh out loud when in a crowd.
I overhear whispers spoken,
He cares about nothing but himself.
He will not even share with us,
What it is he finds so funny.
He's nuts!
And I've learned to agree,
With those who have their own beliefs.
To keep a peace of mind discovered.
From escaping away from me.

This Is The Achievement Remembered
It is not 'what' we do,
That achieves accolades...
With a doing that gets done,
From others!
It is how that doing gets done,
That seems to welcome...
Some to stand and cheer.
With a knowing,
That what has been accomplished,
And delivered...
Has come from a place sincere.
It is not 'what' we do,
That achieves accolades...
With a doing that gets done,
From others!
It is how that doing gets done,
And delivered...
Coming as it does...
From a place recognized as being sincere.
This is the achievement remembered,
And receives the attention.
This is the reward given and received.
And one that is endeared!

A Chocolate Valentine
A Chocolate Valentine
Charles Garcia
To you this box of Chocolate
To you I be sincere,
As to one I hold so close to me,
As this valentine day appears.
Please accept this card and box
Of chocolate as I call a valentine,
Although a metaphor I be sincere.
For anonymonously I have no other
motives other than declare my love for
you,

Koku
To be despondent,
To be active,
To love the muse when many are asleep;
But with sincere love we can solve out some difficulties among us.
Of the closeness of your love to my heart,
And of the sweet muse of your joy that it brings;
For you and i can make it work together,
And to be desperate like the joy of my heart!
I am Koku and you are my lover,
And of all the activities that we share together;
But with sincere love to crown the day!
For we can solve out the differences between us together.

Moon Poetess.
hands flicker, the smokes hurries
And insignia like ice blows in appearance
So seated and commanding twisting joints.
Powers, so she use and sleep.
Cross like lights, like crowns.
And in moon, she exploit simile.
pair of simile, like smile.
married to a poet of the sun.
Seated in a throne, scrutinizing expected writer.
o' poet your tones are failing
Your flood is quited.
Take not my gown for a clown.
In this moon there is peace.
And my ink is agreeable to a moon cave.
And the election has ended.
Yet you are the poet.
No truth is bad as a poetess been a poet.
Posted to bright stool.
and good stew.

Deeply Seated
Suicide?
Self harm?
Bleeding a trauma
Distorted vision
From a pain,
of
Deeply seated blame
Sitting on my shoulder,
A whore house persona
Suicide?
Self harm?
Bleeding a trauma,
Which forever sits upon my shoulder?
Distorted vision
From a pain
of
Deeply seated blame
