Science can purify religion from error and superstition. Religion can purify science from idolatry and false absolutes.

Quatrain #228 - What science knows today is........
What science knows today is likely to be laughed at tomorrow
as mankind uses science like religion to eliminate all its sorrow.
The association of science and religion now then is evident more than ever before
as we realise they can compliment each other and lead us towards a better shore.

Science is a way to call the bluff of those who only pretend to knowledge. It is a bulwark against mysticism, against superstition, against religion misapplied to where it has no business being.

The Lab, The Expriment And Me
Science is very impersonal
Science would exist without me
Science does'nt exist within me
The lab is outside me
The experiment is outside me
The success and failiure is very much mine-
The next in line after me-can
start exactly from where i left.
Religion is very personal
Religion would'nt exist without me
Religion is born within me
The lab is within me
The experiment is done on me
There is no success or failiure
There is no one behind me-
Everybody else are beside me.

Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.

How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, “This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant?” Instead they say, “No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.” A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the Universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths.

He who possesses art and science has religion; he who does not possess them, needs religion.

One of the reasons for its success is that science has a built-in, error-correcting machinery at its very heart. Some may consider this an over broad characterization, but to me every time we exercise self-criticism, every time we test our ideas against the outside world, we are doing science. When we are self-indulgent and uncritical, when we confuse hopes and facts, we slide into pseudoscience and superstition.

Without The Touch Of Science
WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE
Science is full of inventions
and it has numerous tools of destruction
It ought to be friendly to the common man
Lest no use of having those super brains
Why should we send man to the outer-space?
looking for life on a distant planet's face
to give them drugs, religion, bombs and vices
corrupting them at par with our worldly masses
we are deceived, not helped by Science, in the larger sense;
commercializing its use, fruits for private gains
Had I was born in some ancient times
I would have been a different soul,
...............WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE.

Have you Really ever understood yourself?
Life is a journey of lessons
But we get lost in recess
on the way
Homework forgotten and neglected
far too much time
spent in play
We became followers and shirkers
Too lazy to put effort in
Where we could have made ourselves
brilliant
We just struggled with no depth within
Religion was made for the lazy
the ones who lost touch long ago
The Bible a book packed with lessons
that most of the world didn't know
A misunderstood work used in error
Wars caused through Man's ignorance
of the word
Left a world struggling in terror
long buried truth never heard
Religion was born out of fears
a lost time with nothing to hold
superstition was ripe and compelling
It caused man to become violent and bold
The truth is that man is but spirit
here on this earth as his school
a place where trial an error
have made religion the work of a fool
Spirit was given a place here
to have faith in a God it can trust
Believing in him is the answer
accepting this fact is a must
We need to get rid of religions
Cults that man now seeks for power
get back to the truth in our system
for this is the time and the hour
We have a mind so amazing
we can be anything that we think
without superstition and religion
our spirit fills with wisdom to the brink
Nothing holds back a true spirit
No religion or cult formed by man
Control by those people not Gods will
Certainly was not part of God's plan
Within us we hold all the power
That was given to us for our own
We just have to think it to receive it
The power of this not well known
Man may never learn his lessons
and have to return over again
but during the time of his schooling
he will have to start using his brain.

Tell Me If You Can!
Love nobody rejects because it gives joyful comfort!
Friendship everybody loves as it gives joyful company!
Beauty everybody enjoys as it gives cheerful mood!
Nature nobody can avoid as it gives inspiration and joy!
So, between religion and Nature which one will you choose?
Nature is the source for religion, philosophy, art and science!
When this is so what makes man destroy Nature, tell me!

Resistance
I won't allow it. I won't let it happen. This weakness will be strengthened.
Take away this battle. Let our fire burn within. Purify. Purify.
Don't release your hand from me. I must surrender, must lay it down.
What's to gain in my selfishness? What will I promote, and what will be pushed back?
My hope must rise, strength come forward. Linking my hand in yours.
Let your chains uphold me. I won't break the bond. No more will I remain the same.
My God has ever loved himself in me. I am convinced. I must stay.
