Quatrain #228 - What science knows today is........
What science knows today is likely to be laughed at tomorrow
as mankind uses science like religion to eliminate all its sorrow.
The association of science and religion now then is evident more than ever before
as we realise they can compliment each other and lead us towards a better shore.

The Lab, The Expriment And Me
Science is very impersonal
Science would exist without me
Science does'nt exist within me
The lab is outside me
The experiment is outside me
The success and failiure is very much mine-
The next in line after me-can
start exactly from where i left.
Religion is very personal
Religion would'nt exist without me
Religion is born within me
The lab is within me
The experiment is done on me
There is no success or failiure
There is no one behind me-
Everybody else are beside me.

Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.
Science can purify religion from error and superstition. Religion can purify science from idolatry and false absolutes.

How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, “This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant?” Instead they say, “No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.” A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the Universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths.

Without The Touch Of Science
WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE
Science is full of inventions
and it has numerous tools of destruction
It ought to be friendly to the common man
Lest no use of having those super brains
Why should we send man to the outer-space?
looking for life on a distant planet's face
to give them drugs, religion, bombs and vices
corrupting them at par with our worldly masses
we are deceived, not helped by Science, in the larger sense;
commercializing its use, fruits for private gains
Had I was born in some ancient times
I would have been a different soul,
...............WITHOUT THE TOUCH OF SCIENCE.

There does not exist a category of science to which one can give the name applied science. There are science and the applications of science, bound together as the fruit of the tree which bears it.

Science is a way to call the bluff of those who only pretend to knowledge. It is a bulwark against mysticism, against superstition, against religion misapplied to where it has no business being.

Alliance of Poetry and Science
Poetry and Science don’t always
Appear to marry very well
But there are times
Amid these rhymes
When similar stories they tell
Science supports the quite Poetic view
I am both like and different from you
Though we hail from a like molecular start
Differences arise to set us apart
Poetry and Science do keep
Some common goals in mind
Both delving into the deep
While seeking to aid mankind
By examination of life’s glory
Both illuminate the human story
Scientists do quite logically rely
On observations of scientific eye
Poetry and Prose are much different art
Better envisioned when aided by the heart
Poets need not ever argue with Science
Nor should those of Science forgo reliance
On the value of the views brought
By what Poetry has wrought
If something at length be True
Such Truth will be valid then
No matter latter have you
Proved it by Science or Pen

There are two kinds of truth: the truth that lights the way and the truth that warms the heart. The first of these is science, and the second is art. Neither is independent of the other or more important than the other. Without art science would be as useless as a pair of high forceps in the hands of a plumber. Without science art would become a crude mess of folklore and emotional quackery. The truth of art keeps science from becoming inhuman, and the truth of science keeps art from becoming ridiculous.

Science Fiction is not just about the future of space ships travelling to other planets, it is fiction based on science and I am using science as my basis for my fiction, but it's the science of prehistory - palaeontology and archaeology - rather than astronomy or physics.

Sonnet- The World Today(8)
The world of men, women do live in sin;
The problems of today, how do you solve?
If man corrects micro-cosmos within,
The macro-cosmos will sooner resolve.
Tho’ Science has gone to planets and the stars,
The world’s leaders play religion’s trump-card!
To make or break the fragile peace: star-wars;
Bringing a role for the rhetoric by bard.
All men forget, belong they to one race;
And Science is not to destroy all mankind!
Solutions good come when on a love base;
To God’s tenets on earth, we all must bind.
Can earth become a paradise? Never;
Till men can their satanic bonds sever.

Sonnet: The Poet and Science
Is Science, a poet’s foe in poetry?
Why blame the world of science for its progress?
Out-moded’s the poet’s Nature-study;
Literature must wear a scientific dress.
Gone are the days of blind beliefs/ legends;
Man has landed on the moon many times;
No more the moon has myths it portends;
Let science therefore be thy decor in rhymes.
Decoded has man, the human genome;
Many diseases have a cure today;
’Tis unwise still to write the myths of Rome!
Poets incorporate what science shall say.
Science is no impediment to the art!
Let modern poets make a newer start.

Alive By Science
Respirators ventilators
High and holy legislators
Give me agony
Pure agony
Vegetation indignation
Endless one-way conversation
Aint living to me
And when I lose all my self-reliance
Dont keep me hooked up to no appliance
Dont keep me (if you love me)
Yeah dont keep me
Alive by science
I hear an angel banging on my door
Big daddy on the top floor
Shouting free
You gotta be free
This is my life cest mon affiare
Fat ladys singing
I dont stand a prayer
Now be a love and pull the plug on me
Now babe if you be true to our aliance
Please dont pump my lungs without my compliance
Dont keep me
Yeah dont keep me
Alive by science
And when I lose all my self-reliance
Dont keep me hooked up to no appliance
Dont keep me
Yeah dont keep me
Alive by science
I beg you bady dont keep me (alive by science)
Yeah baby dont keep me (alive by science)
Oh baby dont keep me (alive by science)
Aw baby dont keep me (alive by science)
Oh dont keep me (alive by science)
Shoo bop oh bo de oh yeah (alive by science) family members mortgage lenders give me agony (alive by science)
