Mannequin
Hes the mannequin of your dreams
You designed him
Nothing will stand in your way
A punch in the heart
Wont tear him apart
Neither will the things they say
Cause hes a beggar lover believer
You are just an innocent reader
Hes the mannequin of your dreams
Step inside him
Look at the world his way
Laughter is loud
From the fool in the crowd
Youll crack his smile one day
Every dream must follow where we go
Dont let them shatter your ego
Mannequin, lover mannequin, lover mannequin (x2)
I gave you evey bit of my time
You lied and you committed a crime
To present my feelings
With shallow meanings
How could you tear me apart?
Hes the mannequin of your dreams
You denied him
Laughter and political sway
People are sweet
But the primitive beat
Is always getting in my way
I can give you nothing but me though
It isnt what you want to see oh

Nothing And Everything
Hiding behind my hair today
My eyes dance with fire
The thought of living here
And the bounds I transpire
Walking in this slow-motion now
I think you've made so bad
Standing with your mannequin
I try to hold my breath
The grave that bears my name
Started a dream
A dream, immortality
Yet I fall in vain
Just as long as I don't breathe
I'll never be like them
Standing with your mannequin
I try to hold my breath
If you go and I would stay
And you would call my name
I would cry, yes, I would cry
Walking in or walking out
Is the same as talking about my heart
My heart
Hiding behind my hair today
Wishing I was far away
Walking in this slow-motion town
I seem to be so bad
Standing with your mannequin
I try to hold my breath
If you go and I would stay
And you would call my name
I would cry, yes, I would cry
Walking in or walking out
Is the same as talking about my heart
My heart
If you go and I would stay
And you would call my name
I would cry, yes, I would cry
If you go and I would stay
You would call my name
I would die, yes, I would die
Walking in or walking out
Is the same as talking about my heart
My heart
Anyone can see
You're laughing down at me
It's easy for you now

Walk On Water
I met a magic man,
who had a daughter
She learned her lessons well,
but still i taught her
She followed willingly,
as lambs to slaughter
We shared forbiden fruits,
and things i brought her
You may say i'm a miracle mannequin,
Here i come with my mystical plan again,
Although you think i can, i'm just a man
And I don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
I followed willingly,
a sweet temptation
She had me hypnotized,
and still i'm waiting
My dromedary dreams
as wet as oceans
With sand dunes bearing seeds
she set in motion
You may say i'm a cynical charlatan
There i go with my whimsical ways again
Although you think i can, i'm just a man
And i don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
Kaliedoscopial eyes
as you look in the mirror
And the long is getting
shorter as the far is now nearer
Are you just a mirror
standing in front of me?
Am i blind,
can my eyes really see?
You may say i'm a miracle mannequin,
Here i come with my mystical plan again,
Although you think i can, i'm just a man
And i don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
I don't walk on water (oh no)
My dromedary dreams
as wet as oceans
With sand dunes bearing seeds
she set in motion
My dromedary dreams
My dromedary dreams
My dromedary dreams

Never Put Me On That List
You're much more like a mannequin,
With feelings just too stiff!
So don't you ever...
Oh no.
Think you're here to save me.
You come across reserved,
As if it's something done on purpose.
But don't ever...
Oh no.
Think you're here to save me.
Don't ever...
No no.
Think you're here to see me pleased.
Don't you ever...
Oh no.
Believe it's you I need.
I'll never...
Ever,
Seek your company!
You're much more like a mannequin,
With feelings just too stiff!
But don't you ever...
Oh no.
Think that you're here to save me.
And forever,
Please...
I want you to believe it!
Don't you ever...
No no.
Put me on that list.
You come across reserved,
As if you do it with a purpose.
But don't ever...
No no.
Think you're here to save me.
Don't you ever...
Oh no.
Think you're here to leave me pleased.
No, never...
Oh no.
Believe it's you I need.
I'll never...
No no.
Seek your company!
So don't you ever...
Never!
Put me on that list!
Please don't you ever...
Never!
Put me on that list!
No, don't you ever...
And never,
Put me on that list!

Where am I?
It was a pathetic evening
Back from a busy day
In a cold cubicle of white spreads
I settle under a white quilt
Pale and hungry...
If i wanted to break from
My aloneness, i just needed
to make a call...
'hello, reception, ' pronounced
A trained voice...
I cradle the phone
I didn't want to hear groomed voices
They're so alike and lifeless
Enough to augment the aloneness
But why the hell should i...?
The pathos of the evening
Creaked in my joints
The pair of footwear in a lonesome corner
waited for my touch...
Out in a city of clamour
hawkers, buyers, colorful displays
I walk like a mannequin
Once in shining ebony black
Once in pale cold marble whiteness
Did anyone notice me?
Did they find it strange to see
A mannequin out on the street?
Saravan Bhavan...
Idly, dosa, blah blah...
The pale hungry mannequin walked in
The belly looking eagerly...
I stuff idlies into it to satiate its growls...
'where're you? ' the voice asked
'Oh, yeah! Where am i? '
I quizzed in that conundrum of hunger on sale...
I walk back in a tube
Remote and distant
The trained world of trading
Blowing its lungs outside the tube...

Freedom Of 76
Freedom of the body
Freedom of the mind
A ho on south street hired for tricks
Little girls pickin up sticks
Freedom of 76
Wastee little weasel
Wants cheap tricks
Liberty bell cracked in half
A bacon steak
A perfect match
Freedom of 76
My girl sasha
Lookin good on the street
Mannequin was filmed at woolworths
Boyz ii men still keepin up the beat, yeah
Freedom of 76
Fairmount park in the summer
Lookin good on the street
Mannequin was filmed at woolworths
Boyz ii men still keepin up the beat, yeah
Freedom of 76, nah yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ohh, baby, yeah yeah, yeah

Apple Of Sodom
I found the center of fruit is late
It is the center of truth today
I cut the apple in two
Oh, I pray it isnt true
I found the center of fruit is late
It is the center of truth today
I cut the apple in two
Oh, I pray it isnt true
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive drained my heart, I burn my soul
Ive trained the core to stop my growth
I pray to die in space
To cover me in snow
To cover me in snow
Cover me in snow
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Im dying, I hope youre dying too
Take this from me (hate me, hate me)
Take this from me (hate me, hate me)
One, two, three, he is a speed bump mannequin
One, two, three, he cant move to stand still
One, two, three, he is a speed bump mannequin
One, two, three, he cant move to stand still
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat
Ive got something you can never eat...

Transvestite Mannequin
TINY sobs coming from a transvestite
mannequin, the swishing of movement,
the avalanche of light, the wisecrack
of a wrecking ball, and white lies
throwing tantrums, and a wedding cake
with a passport to love.

What Curious Dresses All Men Wear
What curious dresses all men wear!
The walker you met in a brown study,
The President smug in rotogravure,
The mannequin, the bathing beauty.
The bubble-dancer, the deep-sea diver,
The bureaucrat, the adulterer,
Hide private parts which I disclose
To those who know what a poem knows.

Obsessıon
Would not place any price-tag
on me. Like a mannequin dug out from a pit
goes for sale.
Abhor the duplicity.
Want to walk straight –
without the golden thong.
The city goes in flames
in a circle.
A new fountain was singing.
They were landing in flocks.
The old birds of same plumage
coming to collect the due of old virgins.
There was no message.
Letterbox was empty.
I will not wait for snowfall in the Antarcita.

Adam’s Mend
The bald mannequin, stands
undraped, without genitalia
moving the lips.
The choreographer walks in
caressing the knobs
to open the invisible door.
There would be knife between the teeth
and dance in the flames
to lift up the veil,
to kill the sorrow and pain.
A spill from the eyes becomes
red. The whispers
will decide the prices.
Glass case will never be empty.
Sweet show will continue.

Pledging Support
You throw the berries in the river
to stun the fish.
A mannequin wants to go nude.
The tormentor holes up
in a bunker.
You undertake a fast
to clean the dirty plumes of
a swan who will not take a flight
in blackening dawn.
The curse was on the hooks
who will bite only the plastic
dolls. O moonless night, I
want to disappear in the silk
of queer crowds.

Ageless Beauty
The Ageless Beauty
There is a mannequin,
in the dark corner of
the hall, showing off
a swimsuit 1950 style.
She is beautiful, in her
own eyes, which are
made of coloured glass
...sea green.
Dust on lips she doesn’t
care, not of the sultry
type, show no interest,
in sexual matters.
Spooks guests, when
they have gone she
smiles at her image
that is forever 1950.

you have ever adored the cut
colours pattern fabric
it is love at first sight
ages long anticipated
marvelously materialized
serendipitous simply fantastic oh
how imagination runs rampant

you enter
try it on
the fit provides precious little comfort
with wear far the less flattering

Scenes.....
the night is
a mannequin
and we are
the recent
harlequins
in the room
the night is
no longer a mystery
it is colder
and the lights are not
turned off
because of fear
dimmer
like promises
the floor is silent
like the carpets
the dusts invade
like a catacomb
ambient
the scenes outside
are horrible
dead birds hanging
themselves
on the twigs of
a fungal tree
nevertheless
a bunch of ripe guavas
wait still
to be picked by some
hands of the
boys.

You Aint Me
Standing in the light
Youre so self congratulatory
So I guess you have the right to be so masturbatory
And like a man with his pet
You always seem to forget that you aint me
You aint me
You aint me
No, you aint me
Did you include the question mark?
When I answered you were totally shocked
You looked at me like I was a snark while your head was extremely mentally blocked
Im the guy from wonderland
And you could never understand that you aint me
You aint me
The money has been spent
Im not saying it hasnt been earned
The customers have paid
Im just feeling kind of burned
Tell me where have you been
Oh, black-eyed mannequin

Dreamz
what is a dream if you cant achieve it
what is a dream if you dont believe it
i want my dreams to all come true
i want my dreams to be shared with you
a dream is a place of magical things
a dream is a place where bluebirds sing
all our dreams we are longing for
a dream of you that i adore
why is dreams all filled with joy
when after a dream it is destroyed
why is dreams of something we cant have
when we dream of the things we once had
dreams come with so many meanings
happy and sad so many feelings
so why do we dream if it hurts inside
when we watch our dreams all fade and die
if i was a dream id fly away
id dream of happiness and make it stay
what is a dream with no ending
why do dreams start descending
what is a dream that aint complete
why are dreams so discreet
dreams are full of many things
dreams are full of true feelings
believe in dreams and youll succeed
believe in dreams yes i do indeed

Mannequin Complex
During my formative years,
my mother had this annoying habit
of taking me into shoe stores
and forgetting all about me.
She'd try on heels and pumps,
sandals and beige leather boots,
winking at herself in the mirror,
like she was Cinderella.
I'd crawl into the stockroom
behind the stacks of boxes,
until the last employee clicked
off the lights and headed home.
Then I'd emerge, place a shoe horn
in the palm of my favorite mannequin,
and sleep at her feet gleefully
because she was my flesh and blood.

Tight Wad Hill
Cheapskate on the hill
A thrill seeker making deals
Sugar city urchin wasting time
Town of lunatics
Begging for another fix
Turning tricks for speedballs
One more night
Making your rounds once again
Turning up empty handed
Bumming a ride
Burning daylight
Last up at dawn... tight wad hill
Drugstore hooligan
Another white trash mannequin
On display to rot up on the hill
Living out a lie
But having the time of his life
Hating every minute of his existance
