Im Ok
Once upon a time there was a girl
In her early years she had to learn
How to grow up living in a war that she called home
Never know just where to turn for shelter from the storm
Hurt me to see the pain across my mothers face
Everytime my fathers fist would put her in her place
Hearing all the yelling I would cry up in my room
Hoping it would be over soon
Bruises fade father, but the pain remains the same
And I still remember how you kept me so afraid
Strength is my mother for all the love she gave
Every morning that I wake I look back to yesterday
And Im ok
I often wonder why I carry all this guilt
When its you that helped me put up all these walls Ive built
Shadows stir at night through a crack in the door
The echo of a broken child screaming please no more
Daddy, dont you understand the damage you have done
To you its just a memory, but for me it still lives on
Bruises fade father, but the pain remains the same
And I still remember how you kept me so, so afraid
Strength is my mother for all the love she gave
Every morning that I wake I look back to yesterday
Its not so easy to forget
All the lines you left along her neck
When I was thrown against cold stairs
And every day Im afraid to come home
In fear of what I might see there
Bruises fade father but the pain remains the same
And I still remember how you kept me so afraid
Strength is my mother for all the love she gave
Every morning that I wake I look back to yesterday
And Im ok
Im ok

Family?
Do, I have a Family?
If you ask me
I have no family merely associates
For families are genarally suppose to be filled with love
Mine is filled with hatred and with pain.
I am the perfect example of a 21st century family
Due to the mishaps of this world, my mother is a single parent
Much like now most of the world.
And as the years go by it only gets worse.
Families used to be loving, or at least that's what I 've heard.
Why can't we bring back family to what it was?
A mother, a father and children, living under one roof with love
For me, for years I lived afraid for my life, a confused little girl
Without a helpful hand in sight.
Everytime I trusted a man I got burned in the proccess
Only six yet I was afraid because of this.
Because of my 'so-called' family.
Why do they do this to me? !
I can never even look upon my 'brother' the same
For to me he is no longer a brother.
And I do not know how to express my pain, with sorrow or laughter?
Someone please save me from this disaster!
Who do you run to for help
When your family is causing the pain
And the matters are to far- fetched for the police?
Who do you trust and who do you call?
Definetly not your family.
So, now again I ask you
DO I HAVE A FAMILY?

Father I Still Love You
I tried so hard to love you
But you never really cared
I tried so hard to trust you
But you were never really there
I wanted you to love me
But your heart had grown so cold
I wanted you to play with me
But money was your only goal
And now that I've grown older
And I look back on the years
I remember all the anger
The hurt the pain the tears
Father I forgive you
For all those wasted years
And I try not to remember
All the hurt the pain the tears
But father just please tell me
Did you ever love me once
Or was I just like leftovers
That you throw out after lunch
Father I still love you
And I'll never let that die
But father just please look at me
Say you love me to my eye
Father I must be honest
When you left I found another
My Father up in Heaven
And Jesus my loving Brother
They were the ones who loved me
When you had never cared
They were the ones who saved me
From a life of hate and despair
Father I still love you
And that will always stay true
But father will you love me
Because your child still needs you.

Now
Now
Now when it rains I dont feel cold
Now that I have your hand to hold
The winds might blow through me
But I dont care
Theres no harm in thunder if you are there and
Now
Now when we touch my feelings fly
Now when Im smiling I know why
You light up my world like the morning sun
Youre so deep within me were almost one
(*) and now
All the fears that I had start to fade
I was always afraid love might forget me
Love might let me down
Then look who I found
And now, now
Now when I wake theres someone home
Ill never face the nights alone
You gave me the courage I need to win
To open my heart and to let you in
And I never really knew how until now
No, I never really knew how until now
Repeat (*)

Sympathetic Character
I was afraid you'd hit me if i'd spoken up I was
afraid of your physical strength I was afraid
you'd hit below the belt I was afraid of your
sucker punch I was afraid of you reducing me
I was afraid of your alocohol breath I was afraid
of your complete disregard for me I was afraid
of your temper I was afraid of handles being
flown off of I was afraid of holes being punched
into walls I was afraid of your testosterone
I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you
you were my best friend
you were my lover
you were my mentor
you were my brother
you were my partner
you were my teacher
you were my very own sympathetic character
I was afraid of verbal daggers I was afraid of the
calm before the storm I was afraid for my own
bones I was afraid of your seduction I was afraid
of your coersion I was afraid of your rejection
I was afraid of your intimidation I was afraid of
your punishment I was afraid of your icy silences
I was afraid of your volume I was afraid of your
manipulation I was afraid of your explosions
I have as much rage as you have
I have as much pain as you do
I've lived as much hell as you have
and i've kept mine bubbling under for you
[chorus]
you were my keeper
you were my anchor
you were my family
you were my saviour
and therein lay the issue
and therein lay the problem

Father
Father, blessed father,
Its morning again.
I give you, father, myself, father,
Continue your plan.
I know together we can climb mountains in the sky.
No one can stop us when Im standing by your side.
Troubles knocking here again;
Ill tell him jesus has me by his hand.
Hell walk me through.
Father, loving father,
Create in me
A pure love, father, your love, father,
Instill it in me.
I remember the nights Ive cried for you;
Now I only have to die for you;
Thank you, lord, youve made it clear just for me.
I see the light;
Its burning out the night.
Oh, father,
Its morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.
Morning.

The Game of Fate
What if I told you love was a game I don’t want to play,
Because its hurt me one too many times,
And I’m afraid,
Afraid of finding everything I want,
And it not wanting me back,
Or what if love is just some trick of our imagination,
And one day we wake to find nothing at all,
And all that’s left is our own devastation.
Sometimes I dream too much,
And when I finally find my dreams in life,
They only cause me strife,
And pain,
And hurt,
But love and pain walk hand in hand with fate,
Life is an adventure filled with pain,
But somewhere deep within that pain is something stronger,
Something that can over come it all,
And that is love,
But first you have to ride the waves of fate.
Through the many trials you must face,
In the end it is all worth it no matter how much you had to give up along the way,
Love is worth the fight,
And that is what fate is trying to teach you,
That love is so special,
It shouldn’t be so easy to obtain,
So fate throws you pain,
But you have to push through,
In order to find the love that’s true.

A Little Girl Who Wasn't Afraid
a little girl
on the streets
cries everyday
for the whole world to see
a little girl
who's not afraid
to show her bruises
and all the pain
a little girl
heart made of gold
left this earth
everyone calls home
a little girl
flies above
to a place
filled with love
a little girl
who wasn't afraid
to show who she really was inside
so why are you?
what's this world comming to?

My Memories
Today will be a memory
yesterday is a memory drifting away
memories turn into tears,
tearing us apart.
Fear of moving on, afraid of change,
in a minute this will just be a memory
memories are all pain in vain
memories are like dreams, a reflection of the past.
Memories are vision of what it used to be.
my memories are sadness and struggle
what are yours?
are they sadness and struggle?
You are but a memory
that dwindles as each day passes me by.
and as you slowly vanish
I huddle in my room and cry.
A memory that’s all I have
that’s all that’s left of you
nothing but a mere memory
that still lingers, only for a little while longer in my head.
Don’t forget about the past
without memories there is no yesterday.
make every day one to remember a
memory to move on with no pain or anymore regrets

Oh, FATHER! - FEEL MY Untold LOVE! (Part-2)
When I think of all the things you GAVE me:
Your sacrifices in food; love and affection are some to name,
The list goes endless and I fail to count what you gave to me;
With your heart, your mind, your energy and your soul of fame!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
You burnt yourself like a CANDLE to give me light....
Your deeds are never dull; your love is never pale;
I count endless things you, an endless tale
All these you spent on me throughout the years.
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
Now I am in foreign land tormented like an alien, I'm hurt!
I am sad yet I remember Rudyard Kipling's poem, 'If' –
There a father suggest 180 things to his son; What if?
I am not with you; yet your advices ring in heart!
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
I cherish our relationship forever and a day,
Till earth exists and sun sparkles in every way,
Till Stars twinkle and moon delights I carry your name,
Till death may do us apart yet I carry all the same
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done!
We are separated by boundaries narrow.....
Yet in my memories, I'm with as your shadow;
I may carry your fortunes for while.....
Yet I carry your hope for a mile;
Mother, oh mother, I am still your little son!
Father, Oh father, I love thee till I am done! ................................................. .......................

Hideaway
One day the boy decided
To let them know the way he felt inside
He could not stand to hide it
His mother she broke down and cried
Oh my father
Why dont you talk to me now
Oh my mother
Do you still cry yourself to sleep
Are you still proud of your little boy
Dont be afraid
You dont have to hide away
The boy he was rejected
By the people that he cared for
Its not what they expected
But he could not keep it secret anymore
Far from home now
Waiting by the telephone
Theres a new world
You can make it on your own
Are you still proud of your little boy
Dont be afraid
You dont have to hide away
Dont be afraid
Love will mend your broken wing
Time will slip away
Learn to be brave

Afraid To Be Alone
I force myself through another day
Can't explain the way today just fell apart like everything
Right in my face
And I try to be the one
I can't accept this all because of you
I've had to walk away
From everything
I'm afraid to be alone
Afraid you'll leave me when I'm gone
I'm afraid to come back home
Another sleepless night again
Hotel rooms my only friend
And friends like that just don't add up
To anything
And I try so hard to be everything
That I should never take away from you again
'Cause I heard ya say
I'm afraid to be alone
Afraid you'll leave me when I'm gone
I'm afraid to come back home
I cannot forget
I live with regret
I cannot forget
I live with...
I'll live through this
I can't see through this
I can't do this anymore
I'm afraid to be alone
Afraid you'll leave me when I'm gone
I'm afraid to come back home
Afraid you'll leave me when I'm gone
I just wish I was back home

Courting Blues
Green are your eyes
In the morning, when you rise
Dont you be afraid to lie
By me, my love
Your father will not know
Love can be broken
Though no words are spoken
Dont you be afraid to lie
By me, my love
Your father will not know
Love, dont cry
I'll never try
Dont you be afraid to lie
By me, my love
Your father will not know
Green are your eyes
In the morning, when you rise
Dont you be afraid to lie
By me, my love
Your father will be told someday
About our wedding day(? )

Peace & Love
Peace and love, flying so high
Peace and love, too young to die
Peace and love, now you decide
Stay for the children
You dont really want to go
Cant feel it pulling like you did, peace and love...
Peace and love, only a ride
Strength is gone, dying inside
Tell me now, what did you find?
Found love in the people
Livin in a sacred land
Found love in the people, peace and love...
Found love...saw my mistake...broke walls of pain to walk again...
I saw the dream, I saw the wake...we shared it all but not the take...
Peace and love, lennons goodbye
Over now, living in time
A broken bell, a nursery rhyme
Deserted by heroes
Strangers in your own land
No way to deny you, to deny you...peace and love...
I took the oath till I had most
I took whats left, I gave it breath
I had it all once I gave it back...gave it back...

That child
Eight years old and already hate life
Abused by her adopted mother
Raped by her adopted brother
She is just a child and she cant be more.
The bruises on her back keeps her silent
She cries at night till the pain is numb
And when he is on top of her she drifts away
Away from body away from spirit.
Nine years old and it continues
To protect her blood brother from the same
She pretends nothing is wrong
For him, trying so hard to be strong.
She cared so much for her blood brother
She took his bruises upon her self
And he was only a year younger
And they both were just kids.
Ten years old and he still knows nothing
She must be the best secret keeper
Or just a scarred girl who doesnt want her brother to know
Either way she is just a child.
Eleven years old nothing changes
Twelve years old she is getting fed up
The nights when he would come in and do what ever
Forced to mature before her time.
Fourteen she tells her adopted mother
And adopted mother beats her and the girl knows not why
Is it because the mother doesn't believe her
Or does not care enough for her feelings
Sixteen she tries to runaway
Her aunt talks to her so she goes back
Seventeen she moves out and graduate high school
What do you know she graduate with honors.
Eighteen she joins the military
Her blood brother still knows nothing
He see her for her success and not her struggle
That is how she want to keep it.
Her childhood was taking
She just met her birth father
Knows not her birth mother
Her biological brother is all she has
At Nineteen she wrote this poem.
And still remembers that child.

Regret
I still see your face appearing to me like a wave
Senses are still tuned to the scent of your aftershave
The white towel you have left behind in the shower
Remains like a withered memory or a pressed flower
I experience more sad days now since you've been gone
The most difficult time I have without you is right at dawn
Settling in for the night you no longer by my side right here
Often I scream silently hoping for everyone to overhear
At night sometimes I wake up afraid of the new day to come
With your visions in my mind repetitive like the beat of a drum
There are no more tears left to cry over you going away
Nothing left to say there is silence around me every day
I will try to forget the smile you gave me each morning
You took it away with you and I feel as in mourning
In time I know I will get better at this missing you less
But for the time being I am desolate and in great distress
It may appears selfish to bathe in self pity and hurt
But right now I am just barely holding on very inert
It was me saying that love is just an imaginary emotion
Now I'm paying for it and my life goes by in slow motion
I wish I could take back my analytical point of view
But I can't and you would not believe it although it's true
You said that my heart is frozen and you have no heat left
You don't know that it was you that took it with a theft

Courage
It was said that courage is the mastery of fear…
But not the total absence of it…
I was afraid to love,
I was afraid of pain.
I was afraid of big responsibilities,
I was afraid of having serious priorities…
I was totally afraid to fall for you.
But I need the guts; I need the courage because I do.
I need the courage to be brave,
To learn to face my life ahead…
The courage to learn to live with you…
And I know…
That the courage and the strength that I need would really comes from you!

Father You, I And He
Yesterday, Today, Tummorrow
Was There I'll be here He'll be there
You gave me life, Life today I give, Tummorrow he'll be there.
You gave me love, Love I give him, Tummorrow He'll give love.
You bonded with me, Today I'm bonding, Tummorrow he'll be bonding.
You gave a home, Home I give him, Tummorrow he'll have a home.
You gave security, Security I give, Tummorrow he'll be secure.
You educate me, Education I give, Tummorrow He'll be one.
Father you were there
Yesterday
Father I am a Father
Today
Father he'll be a Father
Tummorrow
Father was a man of a man to be and a man that will be a Father.
Father the begining of creation, begining of the world.
A creation of man, men of generations generations of men to become Fathers of Fathers as seeds in a garden to harvest the world and to follow our Holy Father who was, who is, and who will always be your heavenly Father before all these Fathers are Fathers till the end of his creation of Fathers the Man.
Happy Fathers Day.

What We Been Through
Mom
we been though so much since the day you gave me life
things i might forget and things i will never forget
the joy i felt the pain i went though
i feel like you dont love me then again im your number 1
Mom i look up to you but sometimes i should not follow in your footsteps
that hurts because you are my mom
my comfort
my light
my guidence
my strength
my everything
i love it when i see your reaction when i succeed
i hate it when i have to see my mother in pain
i love it when we spend time together
i hate it when you dont see all the things i did for you and my family
i love it when my mother gives me indiviual attention it shows me my mother actually does care
when i am older i will become like you but better i will learn from your mistakes and go beyond to appreciate the things i will overcome because the things we went though have taught me things i am never gonna forget
