Everyday we seek shelter
from an approaching storm.
Whether it comes naturally
or is a homemade one.
A storm is a storm
and its turbulence is always felt.
Where it be rain, snow, flood,
hurricane or tornado,
or someone playing mind games
to try to hurt us in someway.

Rain splashes around,

What's in a name?
"What's in a name? "
The great one said,
A rose by any name
Would smell the same
True it is when we name
Something that's known
What if we name something unknown?
Such as a storm,
National Hurricane Center
Originated a list of names
Of women, and men
For several years of storms
Six scores of them
Used in a cycle
And it's argued
A name's a convenient way
To refer to a storm
And then…
If a storm was deadly
For reasons of sensitivity
A committee decides
To retire the name
No new storm will get that name

The day when nothing will matter

An unyielding brings,
A turbulence with no defense.
Intensifies a tension,
Felt and seen.
And incenses without forgiveness.

How Is It?
how is it
that you go to that famous beach
and there is a storm
and nobody is there
except yourself?
are you crazy? you keep asking yourself too
but you are there
not to take a swim
you are there to watch a storm
you are there to watch when everything has gone wrong
when everyone runs for safety
when everyone is busy for shelter
when everyone thinks you are crazy
and always at the wrong timing of things
what mind have you?
nothing you say
you are just crazy, you are just you, and it does not really matter somehow

In this weather, in this windy storm,
I would never have sent the children out;

A Teasing Storm
I watch from the distance, as the storm covers me;
pouring it's dreadful rain as the dust blinds me.
I look in awe and disgrace of the thundering clouds,
as the storm covered plain with a pouring rain shrouds.
Flash after flash would race across the sky,
beauty of lights would chase the clouds floating by.
The roaring songs of the wind bristling through the trees,
would be enough to put even myself at ease;
but no, this storm did not cover me,
just a tease floating by for me to see.
