Cruel

What youve got, you had to steal
Thats the reason
For how you feel
Considerin what youve done so far
Im rather amazed
At where you are
Lift your head up, baby
Pull yourself together
Nothings worse than dying slow
Theres no reason, darlin,
Reason whatsoever
That we cant end this game of touch and go
Chorus
Its such a cruel world
When you have to think twice,
And youre caught up in this roundabout
Its such a cruel world
When your backs against the wall and theres no way out
Youre not giving it up, but youre giving it out
Seems too me,
You got a little too much doubt
Augmentation,
Is what you need
Your generosity
Looks alot like greed
You might call me crazy
If you dont understand it
Theres no way for you to know
You say love is hazy,
And you dont demand it
But cant we end this game of touch and go
Chorus
Its such a cruel world
When nothin goes right
And the plans you made
Start falling round you
Its such a cruel world
Well, just throw me the rope, baby
And pull me out
Youve got that kind of love,
It flows like a fountain
But sometimes love can be unkind
My kind of love, you know
Its higher than a mountain
But love can be so hard to find
Lift your head up, baby
Pull yourself together
Nothings worse than dying slow
Theres no reason, darlin, reason whatsoever
That we cant end this game of touch and go
Chorus
Its such a cruel world
When you have to think twice
And youre caught up in this roundabout
Its such a cruel world
When your backs against the wall and theres no way out
Its such a cruel world
Its such a cruel world out there baby
Its such a cruel world
Its such a cruel cruel world and theres no way out
Get you right
Wanna get you right
Oh i
I see darkness in your future baby
Oh i
In a tunnel black as night
Oh i
See a rich man with his hand out baby
Oh i
Know a seer with no sight
Oh i
Watch fire burn those bridges baby
Oh i
Feel a wrong turn into right

A final house stands at this hamlet's site (In diesem Dorfe steht das letzte Haus)

A final house stands at this hamlet's site,
as lonesome as the final house on earth.
The road, unhindered by the hamlet's girth
keeps walking slowly out into the night.

The hamlet is but a transition side
of two expanses, anxious, terrified;
its walk along the houses mere relay.

And those that leave the hamlet wander wide
and many die perhaps along the way.

War Is Not A Poem

WAR IS NOT A POEM

War is not a poem-
Death is not a poem-
Destruction is not a poem-
Kindness is a poem,
But how can one make the unkind, kind?
Cruelty is not a poem,
But how can one make the cruel- kind?
We are in a war with a cruel people
We are a kind people
But to be in war is to be cruel
Even against one’s best intentions.
We do not want war
But they are cruel
And we try to survive-
War is not a poem
Even when we are in it.

Liev Schreiber

Hamlet is a remarkably easy role. Physically it's hard because it tends to be about three hours long and you're talking the whole time. But it's a simple role and it adapts itself very well, because the thing about Hamlet is, we all are Hamlet.

Cruel Summer

Dans la chaleur de la nuit qui s'enroule tout autour de moi
Je marche seule sans savoir pourquoi tu n'es plus l
Ca tourne dans ma tte
Et tout s'arrte
Ta voix me parle tout bas
Je ne sais plus o j'en suis, je ne vois plus que toi
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
The city is crowed
My friends are away
And I'm on my own
It's too handle
So I've got to get up and go
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer Cruel summer, it's a cruel summer
It's a cruel, cruel summer
C'est fini
Tu n'es qu'un rve qui s'enfuit
It's a cruel, cruel summer
Now you're gone
You're not the only one
It's a crue , cruel summer, c'est fini

Those Who Are Cruel To Animals

'Tis something I learned early in my life when I was in Primary School
That those who are cruel to animals to humans can be cruel
For cruelty does not have borders as a weapon of power
And the one who is brave with a gun without it easily cower.

Those who are cruel to animals on causing others pain enjoy
And if you can kick a dog or cat I cannot see a reason why
That you will not kick another human being if to cruelty you're inclined
I do not agree with the saying that one has to be cruel to be kind.

If you kick a dog up the backside for that he will remember you
And the next time you pass by his gate on your leg he might chew
An animal will not like you if you he has grown to fear
And he will feel stressed and unhappy when to him you are near.

Those who are cruel to animals can be cruel to humans too
For cruelty does not know borders only happens to be true
The animal you are kind to will always be your friend
And 'tis true that love and kindness always wins out at the end

Loneliness Is Worse

When youve had enough
When youve got it bad enough and you cant let go
When it comes to blows
And you start to overflow
And you cant get home
Its a subtle kind of cruel
It taps my spine here
Im drawing a line
Im asking please
Dont you want to be happy with me?
Im afraid if you dont come around soon Ill turn sadder than you ever were
And youll learn loneliness is worse
Youve got to try
Decembers all alone and hes calling me on the phone
But he sounds so cold
He says he loves me so
But how would I ever know?
Certain words grow old
Its a vicious kind of catch
It sides me blind now
Im out of my mind
I want to scream
Dont you want to be happy with me?
Im afraid if you dont come around soon Ill turn sadder than you ever were
And youll learn loneliness is worse
Youve got to try
Love liked me long ago
It had a way of making everyone the same
But now the angels must laugh and sigh
To hear me pleading with you
Needing this you this way
Oh why dont you want to be happy with me?
Im afraid if you dont come around soon Ill turn sadder than you ever were
And youll learn loneliness is worse
Youve got to try to stay mine all the way

All Four Seasons

With her smile as sweet as a warm wind in summer
Shes got me flying like a bird in a bright june sky
And then just when she thinks that Ive got her number
Brings me down to the ground with her wintry eye
Thats my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
And when the nighttime comes with no interference
To our warm summer love with all its charms
But like a thoroughbred horse she can turn on a sixpence
And I find that Im back in mistress winters arms
Thats my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
How will I know?
How can I tell?
Which side of the bed she takes when the day begins
She can be kind
She can be cruel
Shes got me guessing like a game show fool
She can change her mind like she changes her sweaters
From one minute to the next its hard to tell
She blows hot and cold just like stormy weather
Shes my gift from the lord or a fiend from hell
Thats my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
Watching the weathermans been no good at all
Winter, spring, summer, Im bound for a fall
There are no long term predictions for my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
How will I know?
How can I tell?
Which side of the bed she takes when the day begins
She can be kind
She can be cruel
Shes got me guessing like a game show fool
If its a sunny day I take my umbrella
Just in case the raindrops start to fall
You could say that Im just a cautious fellow
I dont want to be caught in a sudden squall
Thats my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
Thats my baby
She can be all four seasons in one day
