There is love

At the root of tears,
I noticed that the smiles were blossoming.
In the midst of pain,
I found that there is love.
In the midst of chaos,
I discovered the silence.
That's when I realized that,
even in the middle of winter,
there is an invincible spring
And that made me happy.

Denial

My plight isn’t what you think or
What you care to believe-
Just as cherry trees do not blossom in
The month of January or
You cannot dance in the midst of fire, and not get burned-
Your high hopes for me became
Shattered dreams- only because
You did not care to see the truth –
I know it hurt you to believe
I could not build mountains of success, as
From the time I could speak,
Aspirations were extreme-
From the moment I learned to walk-
You envisioned me running marathons-
I tripped and fell so many times, hills were insurmountable,
I tried to rise to every occasion and
To rebuild collapsed foundations-
The pain of constant failure evoked
None but anger, dismay and turbulent moments-
You never realized that every time I danced in
The midst of my own fire, I was burned and
How I would have so desired to see
Spring flowers blossoming in the mid winter-
It was not my choice to falter in every step I took or
To fear climbing a mountain no matter how high or low-
The voices I heard when no one was speaking-
You did not hear and to the depths of my fear
You looked the other way-
My life isn’t the way you think or
What you care to believe-
I weep tears of frustration every single day-
My spirit knows and I feel inside of my heart-
That the reason you had so many dreams for my renowned success
Were not out of abhorrence – I being your one and only child-
I can see through the darkness of my window of pain-
All of the hopes and dreams you had for me were
Just out of love, and there is no shame in wishing for
Flowers to blossom in the midst of winter-

In The Midst Of Nowhere

i am in the midst of nowhere
lost
hunting what it is to be found
empty
searching for the right soul to love
lonely
i am in the midst of nowhere
gone
my imagination's haunting me
terrified
he's protecting me not
alone
i am in the midst of nowhere
smiling
sparkling emerald and sapphire crystal dews touch my skin
relieved
i'm refreshed in the midst of nowhere

That Day In June

I sat today midst the happy smiles
Of a children’s song, and for just a while
I was happy too, for what else should come
From a happy day and a happy song

But it came again just like every June
When I feel the pain of an open wound
That on every other day I keep
Hidden far from view, buried oh so deep

But I guess that’s why they made the day
So that folks like me can’t just walk away
From the hidden chambers, vaults and tombs
Where ghosts like this are left to loom

Waiting for the chance to emerge again
On that day in June; on the one day when
I can only sit choking back the tears
While the children sing…
And the ghosts appear

Golden butterflies flying
Winter searching dreamy rose
Cool rainbow feelings

Midnight winter midst
Nocturnal birds crying around
Diary crawl under ribs

Winter smiles at night

Spring sprouts on time-calyx

Fragrant Flowers

I think that we are ready
For flowers in our midst
All colors of the rainbow
The morning dew will kiss

Sunshine will feel so good again
As winter fades away
Oh, don’t you wish that spring
Could forever stay?

For spring is what brings with it
Flowers we love so much
Nothing like a spring bouquet
To give a happy touch

So hold on tight and wait a bit
For spring is on the way
Those fragrant cheerful flowers
Will be here without delay!

On The Silent Wings Of Freedom

On the silent wings of freedom
Where I ofer myself midst the balancing of the sun
On the winds of celestial seasons
That would carry me on, midst the balance of being one
On the dream of our love eternal
That will eventually bring our living once more with you
Where we are coming from
Or where we go
We only know e come with sound
Where we are coming from
Or where we go
We only know we go around and around
On the back of your forty-second screamdown
Do you choose to be lost midst the challenge of being one
On the flight of regardless feelings
As you hurtle to fear midst the challenge of everyone
On the darkest night so painful
Do you hunger for love midst the torture of being one
On the passing light of easing
Have you seen you inside midst the being of everyone
To the common goal of freedom
Where we offer ourselves midst the balancing of the sun
Where we are coming froom
Or where we go
We only know we come with sound
Where we are coming from

In The Midst Of It All

Written by kevin bond
Ive come through many hard trials
Through temptations on every hand
Though satans tried to stop me
And to place my feet on sinking sand
Through the pain and all of my sorrows
Through tears and all of my fears
The lord was there to keep me
For hes kept me in the midst of it all
Not because Ive been so faithful
Not because Ive always obeyed
Its not because I trust him
To be with me all of the way
But its because he loves me so dearly
He was there to answer my call
There always to protect me
For hes kept me in the midst of it all
Choir:
Ive come through many hard trials
Through temptations on every hand
Though satans tried to stop me
And to place my feet on sinking sand
Because jesus loves me dearly
He was there to answer my call
There always to protect me
For hes kept me in the midst of it all
Chorus:
No hes never left me
And he never let me fall
Oh yes he will protect you
For hes kept me in the midst of it all
Vamp:
Yes, he kept me
Yes, jesus kept me
Jesus kept me (3x), in the midst of it all
For hes kept me in the midst of it all

My Pains In Spring

My pains have four seasons
A spring, an autumn, a winter and a summer.
My spring triumphs over the rest.

In the spring of my pains
I am surrounded by smiles of sweet pathos within
And in my garden the blossoming pains flutter in the morning.

In the autumn of my pains
I am preceded by the hills of hopes mounted
And in my groves the pale pathos shed tears in the noon.

In the winter of my pains
I am hidden by the mist of dejected aims
And on my snow hills the sliding glaciers ensure a fall in the evening.

In the summer of pains
I am blasted by the heat waves of scattered dreams
And on my anvil of my poetry new lines are made.

I like my spring of pains
For I too have a human heart
And my garden of dreams will ever be there.....

It Is There

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Wanting with intent,
To have it all.
And not just a piece.

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Submit,
That's it.
That's all It wishes.
For total and complete honesty.
Not something selected as suggested to pick.
And decide with this to leave as an appeasement.
As if It would not know,
How shallow one's soul.

It wishes to bestow upon you happiness and gifts.
But wanting first your loyalty,
Is what 'It' insists.

It is there!
In the midst,
And is waiting.

Forever there is eternity!
And in the midst of it,
It sits as 'Is'.

And in this midst of this that 'Is'...
Is The Creator.
Waiting with wishes to just have us believe!

Life Is Lovely All the Year

When the buds are blossoming,
Smiling welcome to the spring,
Lovers choose a wedding day -
Life is love in merry May!

Spring is green - Fal lal la!
Summer's rose - Fal lal la!
It is sad when Summer goes,
Fal la!
Autumn's gold - Fal lal la!
Winter's grey - Fal lal la!
Winter still is far away -
Fal la!
Leaves in Autumn fade and fall;
Winter is the end of all.
Spring and summer teem with glee:
Spring and summer, then, for me!
Fal la!

In the Spring-time seed is sown:
In the Summer grass is mown:
In the Autumn you may reap:
Winter is the time for sleep.

Spring is hope - Fal lal la!
Summer's joy - Fal lal la!
Spring and Summer never cloy,
Fal la!
Autumn, toil - Fal lal la!
Winter, rest - Fal lal la!
Winter, after all, is best -
Fal la!
Spring and summer pleasure you,
Autumn, ay, and winter, too -
Every season has its cheer;
Life is lovely all the year!
Fal la!

To Each a Season

Summer kisses Winter's Hands
thereby warming them
as she takes her hair
and wraps him
in the midst of the blowing gale;
her arms reach out
to his icy branches
giving a spark to each sleeping bud
awaking each from its frozen winter encasement.

But Winter's Heart
is cold indeed
whispering to her in her ministrations
'I am Winter and Winter is my fate;
from my icy cradle
Spring is born
and I must not miss her birth.'

Summer was angry.
'Am I not more fair than she?

Have I not given you solace
in your icy retreat?

Have I not offered you much more than she?

If I withdraw my succorings
where would you be? '

'I would' Winter said
'Winter be.'

With that Summer took her Golden Hair
threw it back upon her beautiful shoulders
asking herself 'Where is the gratitude? '

Winter reached with his thin cold fingers
uttering,
'Summer is too warm for me because without
my wild blizzard face I lose my Winter Grace and Winter's dignity-
becoming only melting ice;
discarded slush
snow-flake crushed
and I would wander
my melting realm
and seep into muddy ground,

gone.'

'I understand' Summer said
'Spring, when you put it that way
seems a better bride for you since

she kisses your icy buds
slowly bringing them to blossoming
and I would perhaps apply too much heat
too soon;
they would be born flower wilted

'I understand, ' she said
flying away
'yet I am still sad.'

Below
Winter held his arms high
to welcome
the smell of
Springs breezes

not knowing
Summer in coming to him
had sacrificed her own season
and lay dead
beneath Winter's snow
unknown to him;
because indeed her love was so great
she had given up
her own Summer season.

Untitled #2 - I seem to be happy..........

I seem to be happy
in the midst of company.
But by myself, I am always in sadness;
thinking, hoping of, what I know is
missing from my life.
If what I am thinking about knows,
why doesn't it come?
To me, who could give so much,
for as much given,
To make me happy.
As I am alone,
in the midst of that company.

Could The Spring Come Back Again

could the spring come back again or never
after we are accostumed to a harsh, white, frozen winter
the frozen sticks melted from the fringes
of the roofs
the hot rays of sun
are glitttering from the horizon
someone lit the light
somr sparrows and finches began to fly
on the yellow brown dog thistles
could the spring come back again
nobody knows how ı love my sisters
in their shields
protecting themselves
figthing with the harshness of life
defending themselves
walking like soldiers on roads
with big soldier bags on shoulders
prams fulll of children
some crying
some playing
some laughing
some sleeping in silence
could the spring come again
with her green leaves
multi color flowers
and singing birds
the little pretty girls
cladf in lovely dresses
may be twins
like lovely winter flowers
their mother in the midst
walking in the streets
telll me somebody
could spring come again
as in my young days
where and when
ı used to sing songs

One Bumper at Parting

One bumper at parting! -- though many
Have circled the board since we met,
The fullest, the saddest of any
Remains to be crown'd by us yet.
The sweetness that pleasure hath in it
Is always so slow to come forth,
That seldom, alas, till the minute
It dies, do we know half its worth.
But come -- may our life's happy measure
Be all of such moments made up;
They're born on the bosom of Pleasure,
Thy die 'midst the tears of the cup.

As onward we journey, how pleasant
To pause and inhabit awhile
Those few sunny spots, like the present,
That 'mid the dull wilderness smile!
But Time, like a pitiless master,
Cries "Onward!" and spurs the gay hours --
Ah, never doth Time travel faster
Than when his way lies among flowers.
But come -- may our life's happy measure
Be all of such moments made up;
They're born on the bosom of Pleasure,
They die 'midst the tears of the cup.

We saw how the sun look'd in sinking,
The waters beneath him how bright;
And now, let our farewell of drinking
Resemble that farewell of light.
You saw how he finish'd by darting
His beam o'er a deep billow's brim --
So, fill up, let's shine at our parting,
In full liquid glory, like him.
And oh! may our life's happy measure
Of moments like this be made up,
'Twas born on the bosom of Pleasure,
It dies 'mid the tears of the cup.

I Like To Get It Before It's Gone

In the midst of the budding of a birthing Spring.
I stood at the edge of a forest green.
And sought a path to walk through,
When Summer made it.

And the bees would hum,
As the birds did sing.
While I did this one on one,
With Mother Nature doing her 'thing'.

In the midst of the budding of a birthing Spring.
I stood at the edge of a forest green.
And wanted these days to happen.

I love to walk through the park at dawn.
Just to see what's going on.
And breathing clean fresh air everywhere.

I like to get it before it's gone.
Before the noon is born.
When the noises in the air aren't there!

And the bees would hum,
As the birds did sing.
While I did this one on one,
With Mother Nature doing her 'thing'.
In the midst of the budding of a birthing Spring.

I love to walk through the park at dawn.
Just to see what's going on.
And breathing clean fresh air everywhere.

I like to get it before it's gone.
Before the noon is born.
When the noises in the air aren't there!
Or anywhere.
Peace and I,
Choose to be!

The Orchard

Midst bitten mead and acre shorn,
The world without is waste and worn,

But here within our orchard-close,
The guerdon of its labour shows.

O valiant Earth, O happy year
That mocks the threat of winter near,

And hangs aloft from tree to tree
The banners of the Spring to be.
