Realists are, as a rule, only men in the rut of routine who are incapable of transcending a narrow circle of antiquated notions. But their adverse opinion does carry some weight and can do great harm to a new project — at least until the innovation is strong enough to push the "realists" and their moldy notions aside.

New Notions Die
New notions are all seen
With suspicious eyes ever.
By all alike everywhere.
A crowd is seen building a temple
For the notions ancient.
Not even an inn
Is seen for the notion brand new
And the crowd never learns.
New notions are next exiled.
Notions old become a diety,
They engage slaves,
The worshippers are transformed
At their will and the diety shows its fags.
The new notions die a premature death,
It is a murder by a crowd.
No tears, no funeral but corpses are there.
The ghosts of the negations loud
May begin to haunt the abodes.

The Realist, Impressionist And Me
uncompromising realists are the sky and land
the sea a die hard impressionist
and me, a romantic trying to evince lessons from both
to create an abstract and futuristic world

In the revolt against idealism, the ambiguities of the word experience have been perceived, with the result that realists have more and more avoided the word.

The logic now in use serves rather to fix and give stability to the errors which have their foundation in commonly received notions than to help the search for truth. So it does more harm than good.

Dreaming in public is an important part of our job description, as science writers, but there are bad dreams as well as good dreams. We're dreamers, you see, but we're also realists, of a sort.

Thomalla
Try to compensate me with your psychological notions,
For i am virtually lipless in this game of love;
But if loving you was wrong then, i don't want to be right.
Testable! !
Like the scare of an inchoate;
But incisive as it is,
Try to compensate me with your psychological notions.
Thomalla my friend,
Do you feel the same as i do?
For i am vuirtually lipless in this game of love;
But if loving you was wrong then, i don't want to be right.

Carry That Weight
Boy, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
Boy, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
I never give you my pillow
I only send you my invitation
And in the middle of the celebrations
I break down
Boy, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
Boy, you gotta carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time

Carry That Weight
Boy, youre going to carry that weight,
Carry that weight a long time
Boy, youre going to carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
I never give you my pillow
I only send you my invitations

I break down
Boy, youre going to carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time
Boy, youre going to carry that weight
Carry that weight a long time

How much we loved each other and we thought [Cât ne iubeam, şi cum credeam odată]
How much we loved each other and we thought
That our sincere affection would endure,
That what we had in mind were notions pure
About that world perpetual we sought!
Time and again, my wish to hold you tight
Against my chest, more ardent was and great,
And on my heart it put a heavy weight:
The day I die... and tears obscured your sight...
Today, it's just a tale, not even sore,
Because all things came quickly to an end;
There's not a trace of what it was before,
So many vain illusions, my dear friend!
A sign, a kerchief waving at the door.
And then we in forgetfulness descend.

Realists versus the Rest (Artists)
realists look for the heart
and soul in their objects
to cloth them with colours
others pesevere to put their
heart and soul in their objects
so that they become a part of
their colourful selves

Fugitive
we got the soul
we got the honey
stayed alive
we keep on running
house is on fire
with petrol stain
we stay on the move
ahead of the flames
we are the new
accelerators
faster we go
before they make us
maybe we did
maybe maybe we don't
we see your face
as you throw the stone
i am a fugitive on the run
i carry the weight of what i've done
those born a sweat
through eyes of love
bring more light
than five thousand hertz
it's not where you're from
or where you go
or what you believe
it's more than you know
open your head
open your head
hold me close as you jump off the edge
[chorus]
i am a fugitive on the run
i carry the weight of what i've done
so don't carry the weight
don't carry the weight
i don't carry the weight
you can't change the world

The weight of your heart
The weight of your heart
~
Tied to my own is your heart
Wherever I go you are near
You lift me, carry me on
Offer me the light in the dark
It is in you I find love
I carry the weight of your heart
~
Your eyes are of an earthly brown
Into which I am seeded to grow
Your lips like the morning dew
In which I drink whole hearted
That I know no thirst of loneliness
You are a world of beauty
I hold breathless in every thought
The weight of your heart
~
If this is my burden
I accept it as such and joyful
For the is no greater honour
Than to hold your hand in mine
To protect your love as my own
I shall not wilt nor turn away
I step forth strong and bold
I carry the weight of your heart
As I do my own

Stateless
Ive got no home in this world
Just gravity
Luck and time
Ive got no hope in this world
Just you
And you are not mine
Stateless
Faithless
Stateless
There are no colors in your eyes
Theres no sunshine in your skies
Theres no race, only the prize
There is no tomorrow, only tonight
Stateless
Its the difference
You can cover the world with your thumb
Still so big, so bright, so beautiful
Faithless
Stateless
Push...down on me
Push...down on me
Push...your weight down
Your weight...down on me
Your weight (down on me)
When your weight falls...down on me
Be the heavy hand
The mortal sand
Be the weight, heart, down on me
Stateless
Faithless
Hey bliss
