New Notions Die
New notions are all seen
With suspicious eyes ever.
By all alike everywhere.
A crowd is seen building a temple
For the notions ancient.
Not even an inn
Is seen for the notion brand new
And the crowd never learns.
New notions are next exiled.
Notions old become a diety,
They engage slaves,
The worshippers are transformed
At their will and the diety shows its fags.
The new notions die a premature death,
It is a murder by a crowd.
No tears, no funeral but corpses are there.
The ghosts of the negations loud
May begin to haunt the abodes.

Realists are, as a rule, only men in the rut of routine who are incapable of transcending a narrow circle of antiquated notions. But their adverse opinion does carry some weight and can do great harm to a new project — at least until the innovation is strong enough to push the "realists" and their moldy notions aside.

Thomalla
Try to compensate me with your psychological notions,
For i am virtually lipless in this game of love;
But if loving you was wrong then, i don't want to be right.
Testable! !
Like the scare of an inchoate;
But incisive as it is,
Try to compensate me with your psychological notions.
Thomalla my friend,
Do you feel the same as i do?
For i am vuirtually lipless in this game of love;
But if loving you was wrong then, i don't want to be right.

Can’t Feel Your Heartbeat, But I Can Feel Your Breaths
Hell fire and high heels –
Blue pills and backseats,
Needle points with track meet hearts,
Death rattles, and blood baths, amongst the dead heat.
Now I dance in the moon light,
Gold and good intentions pave my streets.
These words lost in notions of wrong and right,
A sad, sad day when Angels and Demons meet.
She is mental atrophy, emotional paralysis –
Love's sweet and unyielding cancer,
She is pandemonium at its worst, carnage at its best,
This woman is the devils dancer.
Now I dance in the moon light,
Gold and good intentions pave my streets.
These words lost in notions of wrong and right,
A sad, sad day when Angels and Demons meet.
I breathe her.
I need her!
I lust for her lies!
I thirst for her ways.
I crave her legs!
I'm fed by her sinful eyes!
I drink her dire secrets.
I'm nourished by her flaws!
Lost in the walls of her deceit.
It's sad, so sad when the demons creep.
Now I dance in the moon light,
Gold and good intentions pave my streets.
These words lost in notions of wrong and right,
A sad, sad day when Angels and Demons meet.
She is the catalyst of my demise –
The architect of my wayward prayers,
Jezebel seducing Samson,
The owner of all my lustful stares.
Now I dance in the moon light,
Gold and good intentions pave my streets.
These words lost in notions of wrong and right,
A sad, sad day when Angels and Demons meet.

To prejudge other men's notions before we have looked into them is not to show their darkness but to put out our own eyes.

Father had notions about manhood suffrage, public schools, the education and the elevation of the masses, and the gradual emancipation of the slaves, that did not suit the uncompromising views of people in places like Richmond.

People From Bad Homes
People from bad homes
Dont have the time
To look things over
Make up their minds
People from good homes
Dnt have the minds
To care for bad homes
Dont have the time
Home is the main line
Cant take the plain
Those people have notions
Play out this game
Stand on your own line
Stand high above
These people of caution
Trouble to love
Me I got no home
Just main street and wine
No one to hussle no one to jive
Me and my prospects just having a ball
Having the best time but nothing at all
Home is the main line
Cant take the plain
Those people have notions
Play out this game
Stand on your own line
Stand high above
These people of caution
Trouble to love
Home is the main line
Cant take the plain
Those people have notions
Play out this game
Stand on your own line
Stand high above
These people of caution
Trouble to love
Oh yeah

The Distance Of A Life
I am conscious that I have to die.
I am optimist that I will not die.
Between these notions I plan my life
Till I am done without my knowledge.

Charlatan's Lament
At long weary last this game is over
The sins of the past have fled from my shoulder
The sleep that I need is all I ask
In thought and in deed I have burned the mask
Here I am...
Here I am...
Enchantment is broken
I merge with the crowd
Oaths have been spoken inside and out loud
Emerging from under notions of god
In tears and in wonder I venture abroad
Here I am...
Here I am...
Can you walk a smithereen
Can you walk a smithereen
closer to me
Could you love a thimbleful
Could you love a thimbleful
harder for me
Encountered a loathly hag
Blood on the snow
She said "I've a burden to drag and leagues to go"
I left her down by the seaside
in someone's hall
By dawn's empty light I cried
for no one at all
Here I am...
Here I am...
Can you walk a smithereen
Can you walk a smithereen
closer to me
Could you love a thimbleful
Could you love a thimbleful
harder for me
I swing between tears and wonder
I swing between tears and wonder
I swing between tears and wonder
I swing between tears and wonder
tears and wonder !
Can you walk a smithereen
Can you walk a smithereen
closer to me
Could you love a thimbleful
Could you love a thimbleful
harder for me
Harder for me

Justifying conscription to promote the cause of liberty is one of the most bizarre notions ever conceived by man! Forced servitude, with the risk of death and serious injury as a price to live free, makes no sense.
It wasn't that I was shy to go out with him, I just didn't want people with preconceived notions to assume anything about why we were together. I was pretty careful for a while.
