An ancient Chinese curse runs, "May you live in interesting times." Since the fall of the Roman Empire, there has rarely been more interesting times than these. Whenever history becomes unstable and destinies hang in the balance, then magicians and messiahs appear everywhere. Our own civilization has moved into an epoch of permanent crisis and upheaval, and we are beset with a plague of wizards. They serve a historic purpose, for whenever a society undergoes radical change, alternative spiritualities proliferate, and from among these a culture will select a new world view.

Well, right now, I'm very fascinated with 1920s Berlin. I mean, probably the more interesting thing would be to go to the beginning of civilization or precivilization - like polytheistic times. It would be interesting to see what came before modern religion and culture - what circumstances created the environment or the need for it.

It's an interesting line that I walk. The AIDS crisis has done a lot for my songs and made them proliferate, and my songs have contributed a lot to that cause as well.

The Confessions Of An Incorrigible Person
I am a religious fanatic, because I do not respect any religion other than my own – Humanism.
I am not cosmopolitan, because I do not respect any community other than my own – Humanity.
I do not like any language other than my own – the language of unity, understanding and friendship.
I give a damn to any culture other than my own – Human Culture.
There is only one civilization I respect, the ancient civilization I am a part of – World Civilization.
I do not have time for anybody other than my own family – The World Fraternity.
Agreed, all these characteristics that I have are extremely condemnable. But sorry, I will not change. I am incorrigible.
It was an interesting experience being metropolitan editor of the Times, in precisely the same way as being simmered in a saucepan for a few years is terribly interesting.

We live today within a society that has rejected centuries of tradition and the resultant upheaval has led to gay marriage, transgender bathrooms, women in combat, sanctuary cities, the war against national icons deemed to be racist, and many other radical social changes. Ipso facto, nothing is more amusing than the indignant, outraged, politically correct fascists screaming for the restoration of a traditional presidency. No doubt modern times demand different methods and it is nothing short of brilliant for the presidency to utilize Twitter in order to bypass the Big Media brainwash machine. In a society that is in total upheaval on so many fronts, only the most naïve would expect the presidency to remain a traditional artifact, still operating in the same antiquated manner of other national leaders who antedated the current tumult.

Because We Are Part Of These Mysterious States
to make you more interesting
(not just to myself but more of yourself)
i tell you something that you want to know
and you listen
and you like it and you begin to smile and
feel great about how i speak about you
because you are great and somehow you fail to see it
and never acknowledge it to yourself
before you sleep and at times when you see yourself
in front of the mirror and affirm
the reason why you are here because you pretend that you do not know it.
you are interesting and you belong with us all here
as we are interesting too
we feel the exclamations of our beings,
we are beyond the colors of the sea and the the land
and all that arise from them
we rise above them all
and we must confirm these phenomena of our
being what we must be.
tonight i will ask you some questions
and there will be no answers.

I look at Rome; She has nearly three thousand years of civilization, but she flows as if she were new, looking as young and carefree as water when she makes water. A city where art and culture predominate more than anything else.
Overall, Rome is a mysterious city. The ancient ruins on the one hand suggest the glory of the Roman Empire, on the other they strike the opulence and grandeur of the Baroque buildings. And last but not least, be captivated by the speed and crazy rhythms of today's civilization translated into the huge number of tourists in the city, flooded with people, cameras and souvenirs. Everyone chooses his Rome, be it imperial, baroque or modern. But for everyone the city, once the center of the world, is a real historical symbol.

Messiahs Die Young
All of those things that I wanted to say
Well you can take those things and throw them all away- hey hey
Because he who points the finger well only he gets hung
That's why I don't to be a messiah, messiahs die young
All of those things that I wanted to be
Well you can take those things and throw them back at me- he he
Because he is only just as good as he who is the one
That's why I don't to be a messiah, messiahs die young
Messiahs die young.
Messiahs die young!
They die young,
Messiahs die young!
Messiahs die young.
Messiahs die young!
They die young.
Messiahs!
Why get in line if you don't want to wait
They say that time is money-- sell your watch today, hey hey
And if you've never been to China well the slow boat leaves at one
That's why I don't want to be a messiah, messiahs die
I don't want to be a messiah, messiahs die
I don't want to be a messiah! I just want to have fun
Not die young.
Messiahs die young!
They die young.
Messiahs die young!
Messiahs die young.
Messiahs die young!
Messiahs die young.
Messiahs

Leading You Astray
Bad people,
Power cuts!
Aspire,
Inspire,
Milk and honey,
Sugar and tea,
Survival of the fittest! !
Strength,
Change, challenge!
And, it took place in her room twice.
The 4th Empire was the Roman Empire!
The 4th Beast was the Roman Empire! !
Drones, thrones, stone;
Like the great sword with eyes all over it,
but, your uncontrolled lust is leading you astray.

The World Of The Teens
I know of a world so interesting
It’s the world of the teens
A world with much splendor
Characterized by risky adventures
A fragile world
That needs strong supporting cord
A world that need not be neglected
As it is where the patterns of life are selected
A world where every little mistake
Can change the shape and taste of the cake
A place for investing
Preparing for future harvesting
A world filled with pleasure
Accompanied by insurmountable pressure
A world where beauty and the beast
Are always in fierce contest
A world where emotion is always in motion
And passion faced with continuous confusion
It’s the world of the teens
Quite interesting it is
So treat it with much regard
Cos it’s got so much to discard

A New Look At Sacrifice
We're moved by the Mercy of God, as we live life on this sod,
To be for God a Living Sacrifice, as Disciples of Jesus Christ;
We’re urged by Paul, into action, to be a light in a world of sin,
In light of God’s incredible Mercy, to live our life pure and holy.
We must commit to a change; transformed to praise His Name,
With God’s loving Mercy in view, we’re moved to live life anew,
Radical change to demonstrate, the power of Grace in our faith,
With change required in our heart, for real changes to truly start.
In light of God’s amazing Grace, we’re moved to an active faith,
Chosen by God’s sovereign Hand, in ways we can’t understand,
To stand against the world’s views, to offer instead Good News,
That can change our world at hand, as for God, we take a stand.
With a transformed heart and mind, a past is all we leave behind,
While we move for God ahead, a voice for Christ and Spirit lead.
Not here to spiritually pause, while ahead there’s a greater cause,
With The Good News to herald, as for God we change our world.
Becoming for God a strong voice, with other brethren we rejoice,
For Christ has made us fully clean, even from those sins unseen,
Mindful of what we used to be, now used by the God of Eternity,
As our own will and self is denied, Grace is spread, far and wide.

Cry Freedom
I live in a world of mist words
cause beauty music therein lives
in ancient Celtic ancestry of mindsong
history runs within fibre of being
across earth runs folklore of centuries
soul aches for emerald siren shores
ancient calling of Celtic blood origins
Roman legions English arrogance's
could never defeat cry freedom within
tyrant defiant knee bends defeated not
injustice world domination defeats not
centuries enduring is cry freedom within
does not blood of warrior bard echo
haunting down resolute centuries
cry freedom defiant Celtic peoples
freedom is heritage birthright echo
