My friend, your great heart shone with the sunrise of the East like the snowy summit of a lonely hill in the dawn.

Sunrise, Sunset
O Sun, When you rise,
It’s morning dawn.
When you set,
It’s evening dusk.
O Sun, Seeing your beauty lighting
Shining on landscape from dawn
Shining on seascape from dusk
It comes from dawn to dusk.
O Sun, rise from East
O Sun, set to West
From East to West,
Celestial light comes and go,
Seasons come and go.
Here come four seasons
North to South, East to West
From Spring comes Autumn,
From Summer comes Winter.
O Sun, From rising East
To setting West
O Moon, Come rising East
To setting West
Cycle never end,
It’s endless cycle,
Seeing sunset every dusk,
Seeing sunrise every dawn.
Making us pondering..
Make us wondering
Where, When will be next..
Sunrise, sunset..

Lonely
Lonely life,
Lonely mind,
Lonely heart,
Lonely love,
Lonely fun,
Lonely work,
Lonely talk,
Lonely thoughts,
Lonely death,
Lonely walk,
Lonely run,
Lonely friend,
Lonely crying,
Lonely recess,
Lonely money,
Lonely health,
Lonely kissing,
Lonely loniness...

The World Is Great
The world is great!
The birds fly from me;
The stars are golden fruit
Upon a tree
All out of reach
My little sister went and I am lonely.
The world is great!
I tried to mount the hill
Above the pines
Where the light lies so still,
But it rose higher.
Little Lisa went and I am lonely.
The world is great!
The wind comes rushing by.
I wonder where it comes from.
Sea-birds cry
And hurt my heart.
My little sister went and I am lonely.
The world is great!
The people laugh and talk,
And make loud holiday.
How fast they walk!
I'm lame, they push me.
Little Lisa went and I am lonely.

Summit of Drying Breath
Summer was her, the day of the snailing school boy
On the shoulder with such poles and GPS tool box
In aslow space, he jet passed near the baseless summit
As if herd of bulls, he hoofed up the heel surturating
Four great strengths but with one escorter's lace
The tour guider of that day afternoon race
While the wind swifly spoke in all angles
The grey day leading on a silent blades rangles
He was the talk of the town heading up like a leader band
So at once he nodded on the pull of the land
He crossed the river empty between on top next was the one
The great searchers of national trig pillar lines
Where they wanted to seal their GPS receiving station
But that hill, he gave much respect and knocked upon loops
Because his air breath lapsed, and lapsed of oops
He fell down, just close the pillar door way
And saw the entire horse race passing by in prairie bay
To the west the sun glared red near the district council
And to the east stood ablue cloth pencil
In the middle was an evergreen eye angel
Wrapped with his best cry of breath tam-tam tassel
He slept afew minutes and knock off again
He rose from the mighty of his stomach grain
And receive afinal call while on the pillar case
The pillar the remained twice darken meal verse
That day he grabbed so hard his finger nailed
On the hill summit they started the journey on rail
After dismantling the radio station basement
The musterpiece of that day play movement
That was adarken sky, the school boy went down
And dropped down non reversable mail till dawn

My dear one is mine as mirrors are lonely,
As the poor and sad are real to the good king,
And the high green hill sits always by the sea.
Up jumped the Black Man behind the elder tree,
Turned a somersault and ran away waving;
My Dear One is mine as mirrors are lonely.
The Witch gave a squawk; her venomous body
Melted into light as water leaves a spring,
And the high green hill sits always by the sea.
At his crossroads, too, the Ancient prayed for me,
Down his wasted cheeks tears of joy were running:
My dear one is mine as mirrors are lonely.
He kissed me awake, and no one was sorry;
The sun shone on sails, eyes, pebbles, anything,
And the high green hill sits always by the sea.
So to remember our changing garden, we
Are linked as children in a circle dancing:
My dear one is mine as mirrors are lonely,
And the high, green hill sits always by the sea.
Snowy Day
One snowy day, my buddy and I went out to play.
We went riding our sleds, on the big hill at Ed's.
Down the hill we both flew, and I lost my shoe!
My buddy just laughed, as he flew past.
And that's the end of our snowy day fun.
See you tomorrow for one more run.

a FRIEND THAT IS UNIQUE
a FRIEND THAT IS UNIQUE
A FRIEND THAT IS ONE OF A KIND
A FRIEND THAT IS PERFECT
A TYPE OF FRIEND WHO IS HARD TO FIND
A FRIEND THAT IS SWEET
A FRIEND THAT IS PERPETUALLY FAIR
A FRIEND THAT YOU KNOW
WILL ALWAYS BE THERE
A FRIEND WITH AN AMAZING SPIRIT
A FRIEND WITH A STRIKING HEART
A FRIEND THAT IS TRUSTWORTHY
A FRIEND THAT IS SMART
A FRIEND THAT ASSUAGES YOUR PAIN
A FRIEND THAT CAN DRY YOUR TEARS
A FRIEND WITH UNRESTRICTED LOVE
A FRIEND THAT CAN ALLEVIATE YOUR FEARS
THE FRIEND THAT IS PERFECT
THE ONE THAT YOU ARE SHOCKED TO FIND
THAT THEY ARE THE ONE
THAT LEFT YOU BEHIND

Photographer From Chicago
In the department store
on Nicollet Mall,
a photographer
photographed me
from Chicago.
He came back before
snowy and blurry,
MN Twins were winning
The World Series.
photographs were taken
when I was young,
it was great I
had a lot of fun.
now the roll of film
almost became lost,
another photographer
found it before it was tossed.
if anything I still have
photos to show
I was young and a glow.

Heartbreak Hill
(emmylou harris/paul kennerley)
Long long time ago when we were young
You swore to me I would be the one
I would be the one you loved
But we had to part
You asked me to wait for you
To keep you in my heart
To keep you in my heart
Night after lonely night Im waiting for you still
High above the lights of town here on heartbreak hill
Now maybe I am the foolish kind to think of you so long
Have you found another love
Am I still the one
Am I still the one for you
But youre far away
Do you ever dream of coming back to me someday
Back to me someday
Night after lonely night Im waiting for you still
High above the lights of town here on heartbreak hill
On heartbreak hill alone at night
I think of how you held me tight
And wonder if I ever will see you again
On heartbreak hill
Oh lord if I only could go back in time enough
Id hold you in my arms again
Never let you go
Never let you go my love
And leave me far behind
High upon this lonely hill were you swore to be mine
You swore to be mine
Night after lonely night Im waiting for you still
High above the lights of town here on heartbreak hill
Night after lonely night Im waiting for you still
High above the lights of town here on heartbreak hill
Here on heartbreak hill
Here on heartbreak hill

So Lonely
Well someone told me yesterday
That when you throw your love away
You act as if you just dont care
You look as if youre going somewhere
But I just cant convince myself
I couldnt live with no one else
And I can only play that part
And sit and nurse my broken heart
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely
Know no ones knocked upon my door
For a thousand years or more
All made up and no where to go
Welcome to this one man show
Just take a seat theyre always free
No surprise no mystery
In this theatre that I call my soul
I always play the starring role
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely, so lonely
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely
I feel so lonely...

Sunrise
BY BARRY MANILOW AND ADRIENNE ANDERSON
And so it began as I sat by my window
All by myself in the dawn
Nobody else, no polite conversation
Just waiting for life to come on
And I see the sunrise
Over the ocean
Sunrise on the sea
I'm watchin' the sunrise
And glad to be livin'
Sunrise
Shine over me
I think of my life as I look out my window
Of people I love, places I've been
Sometimes I feel I could go on forever
With nothin' to lose, nothin' to win
When I see the sunrise
Over the ocean
Sunrise on the sea
I'm watchin' the sunrise
And glad to be livin'
Sunrise
Shine over me

A Lonely Tear
A lonely tear falls down
A smile turns to frown
Trickles down the cheek
Does not make you weak
A lonely tear escapes
A lifetime of mistakes
A sad and lonely heart
Others broke apart
A lonely tear is dried
So many nights it cried
A friend reached out their hand
And tried to understand
The lonely tear is gone
Life will carry on
With love from a friend
The lonely tears will end

i see you walking on the snowy land
alone
there is no shining sun
the paths too slippery
for your asian
feet
you feel the world is too narrow for you
and you do not fit
like thread
to the eye of the needle
you have cried
more than many times that your fingers
can no longer count them
you have put too much
salt
on the snow
the air is dry and everything
is humid
there are no leaves on the trees
no birds singing
on this harsh foreign land
you are still
alone
on a broken heart you shall thrive
on broken wings you shall try
to fly away again
but for how long
my friend?
my friend do not be lonely
your home is waiting
warmer
the sun is always there
to caress your cold skin
and the moon at night
awaits you
for some more poems
that i make
to appease the
anger in your heart
come home my friend
they have been waiting

How did it happen that their lips came together? How does it happen that birds sing, that snow melts, that the rose unfolds, that the dawn whitens behind the stark shapes of trees on the quivering summit of the hill? A kiss, and all was said.

Glimpse of Heaven
To love you was a glimpse of heaven
Now fading like a ship of dreams
Gliding on an azure horizon
Where faintest of all hope still gleams.
But me, I'm dead in the water
And as i drown in this lonely sea
I try to reach your hand, so desperately.
To love you was like a glimpse of heaven
Sweet kisses fly with the dawn
I lay with aching heart alone with just Sellotape
Our great love story torn
But you are in my head and in my heart
These memories will my sanity save?
My life was worthwhile at last with your kiss
And the glimpse of heaven that you gave.

Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can take your hand and stroll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go on the streets and see the people smile.
Give me your hand,
So I could tell you that things will be alright.
The rooms still dark,
But it wont be so long,
And I can take you outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the park and roll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the docks and watch the boats go by.
Come on, love, give me your hand,
And things will be alright.
The rooms still cold,
But it wont be so long,
That we can go outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I could see your hair shining in the air.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can see the sky reflected in your eyes.
Come on, love, dont be depressed,
Things will be alright.
The rooms too low,
But it wont be so long,
That we can be outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise.

Once Lonely Now Mended
A lonely heart is not something new;
A lonely heart contains only blues.
A lonely heart grows until old;
A lonely heart never unfolds.
A lonely heart is ready for doom;
A lonely heart keeps the mood gloom.
A lonely heart will never heal;
A lonely heart is like a bad card deal.
A mended heart is like one of no other;
A mended heart can be noticed by a lover.
A mended heart won’t take anymore pain;
A mended heart will shine like a flame.
A mended heart pumps love with a flow;
A mended heart beats and never lets’ go.

Its Lonely
Written by orbison/melson
Every sleepy dawn wakes to find you gone, and its lonely.
All my sunny days, laugh and run away, its lonely.
(oh so lonely)
The sun dont really shine, its lonely.
Always to remind me that its only another day,
To feel this way.its lonely.lonely.
I am lonely all the time, youre not mine.
Without you I find,its lonely.
Each new starry sky, smiles and says goodbye, its lonely.
Dreams we used to share tell me you dont care, its lonely.
The moon has lost its glow, its lonely.
It is there to show me that its only another night,
I cant hold you tight, its lonely.lonely.
I know why I cry, for all the world to see.
Youre not here with me. its lonely, lonely, lonely.
