Cannot I too descend a Redeemer into nature? Whosoever hereafter shall name my name, shall not record a malefactor, but a benefactor in the earth. If there be power in good intention, in fidelity, and in toil, the north wind shall be purer, the stars in heaven shall glow with a kindlier beam, that I have lived. I am primarily engaged to myself to be a public servant of all the gods, to demonstrate to all men that there is intelligence and good will at the heart of things, and ever higher and yet higher leadings. These are my engagements; how can your law further or hinder me in what I shall do to men? On the other hand, these dispositions establish their relations to me. Wherever there is worth, I shall be greeted. Wherever there are men, are the objects of my study and love. Sooner of later all men will be my friends, and will testify in all methods the energy of their regard. I cannot thank your law for my protection. I protect it. It is not in its power to protect me. It is my business to make myself revered. I depend on my honor, my labor, and my dispositions for my place in the affections of mankind, and not on any conventions or parchments of yours.

Forces Of Nature
Yeahhh
Opposites attract, chemicals react
But when I look at you
Deserts need the rain, fires feed the flame
We can't deny what's true
I can't help the way I feel
Cause you got me yeah
All these elements are real
They come from deep within me
I would move heaven and earth for this fire
For this ocean, I'd fight for you
Let this emotional wind take us higher
Where there's nothing we can't do
I love you, I love you
This power is greater than the forces of nature
We don't have no walls
The beauty of it all (beauty of it all)
Is waiting in your eyes
Breathing on my skin
Just let me take it in
Under an open sky
I can't help the way I feel
Cause you got me yeah (oh you know I can't)
All these elements are real
They come from deep within me
I would move heaven and earth for this fire
For this ocean, I'd fight for you
Let this emotional wind take us higher
Where there's nothing we can't do
I love you (oh I love you) I love you
This power is greater than the forces of nature
Nothing is greater
Than the energy I get from loving you
Sooner or later
It'll take us to forever
I would move heaven and earth for this fire
For this ocean, I'd fight for you (ohhh)
Let this emotional wind take us higher
Where there's nothing we can't do (nothing we can't do)
I would move heaven and earth for this fire (for this fire)
For this ocean, I'd fight for you (I'd fight for you)
Let this emotional wind take us higher (let this emotional wind)
Where there's nothing we can't do (nothing we can't do)
I love you (I love you baby) I love you (I love you baby)
This power is greater than the forces of nature

A Higher Power Watches
A Higher Power Watches
Who deliberately causes
The innocent to flout
The sweet to become bitter
The peaceful to become upset.
A Higher Power Watches
People who provoke
The good to do evil.
To speak unkind
To deceive to live unclean.
A Higher Power Watches
How the family behaves
How friends are engaged
Or how who ever interrupts
Or encourages a Life.
A Higher Power Watches
Consciously every move.
Inspirations and righteousness
Cleanliness and courage
Ameliorations and aspirations.
A Higher Power Watches
What every insight sees.
Every intellectual knowing
Every attitude existing
What life's breath blows.
A Higher Power Watches
Every humilation
Every honesty and sincerity
Every forgiveness
And every loving thought.

Protection
We don't need protection from terrorists anymore.
What we protection from is never-ending war.
Protect us from the propaganda.
Proect us from the lies.
Protect us from the legislation
set up to tyrannize.
Protect us from the vaccines
that cause more harm than good.
Protect us from the violence
that comes from Hollywood.
Protect us from injustice
emanating from the courts.
Protect our kids from drug enhancements
while they're playing sports.
Protect us from illegals taking all our jobs.
Protect us from the gangs and all the angry mobs.
Protect us from the wealthy who never have enough.
The terrorists are not coming.
It's time to call their bluff.
We don't need protection from terrorists anymore.
What we need protection from is right within our shore.

Force Behind The Power
(stevie wonder)
Since the beginning of all lifes beginnings
Right at the very dawning of the sun
Any and everyone had cause and reason
For in good all good is done
Now down in every heart there are two forces
One is for the wrong, ones for the right
But never do you have to fear with this as armor
For good always wins the fight
Whats that force behind the power that wakes you each day
Whats that force behind the power that chases eavil away
Whats that force behind the power that puts a smile on your face
It is love, pure love, it is love
In every book of truth it has been written
That we are measured by the things we do
If for the good of all is what you like doing
Then all that good will come to you
That doesnt mean you have to be a rich man
You could be a person living on the street
But if you give but only words to lift someone higher
Then a heart of gold is what you will be
Whats that force behind the power that wakes you each day
Whats that force behind the power that chases eavil away
Whats that force behind the power that puts a smile on your face
It is love, pure love, it is love
Whats that force behind the power that makes you willing to share
Whats that force behind the power that for a lost soul youre there
Whats that force behind the power thats not to busy to care
It is love, pure love, it is love
Not trying to preach about it, but no one can do without it
Whats that force behind the power that will lend a hand
Whats that force behind the power when others cant yes you can
Whats that force behind the power its greater than any man
It is love, gods love, it is love
Whats that force behind the power that tears walls down of hate
Whats that force behind the power that is never too late
Whats that force behind the power that forever will wait
It is love, gods love, it is love

Take Me Higher
(narada michael walden/s.j.dakota/germaine)
Take me to that place
Higher
Go, hold on
Go
(take me higher)
(take me higher)
In my mind I see the possibilities
When it comes to love there are no boundaries
Do you think that you and I can work it out
Thats what true loves about
Baby we can find an answer if we look inside our hearts
Love will be there waiting for us
Baby we can rise above it if we leave our doubts behind us
We can learn to fly high above us
Theres a place up in the sky
Where the sun is shining
Take me higher
(take me higher)
Theres a place I long to be
Where the birds are flying
Take me higher
(take me higher)
See it on the news, theres trouble eveywhere
Gotta reach out show somebody that you care
It aint good to let the bad news get us down
Lets spread some love around
Even if you want to go there
To a place above the clouds
Got to feel the power of love (power of love)
Baby we can rise above it if we leave our doubts behind
We can learn to fly high above us
Theres a place up in the sky
Where the sun is shining
Take me higher
(take me higher)
Theres a place I long to be
Where the birds are flying
Take me higher
(take me higher)
(repeat)
You gotta reach out
Feel the power of love
Show somebody you care
Take me...
Oh baby
Higher
Take me higher
Theres a place up in the sky
Where the sun is shining
Take me higher
(take me higher)
Theres a place I long to be
Where the birds are flying
Take me higher
(take me higher)
(repeat)
Take me higher
Take me, take me
Take me higher
(take me higher)
(repeat three times)
Theres a place up in the sky
Where the sun is shining
Take me higher
(take me higher)
Theres a place I long to be
I want to go flying
(take me higher)

Good And Evil.
Good thoughts, 'tis said, are no more than good dreams
Save they be into action put, and that
On opportunity depends. Alas!
If place and power cohered, what good were done
Which else, a babe still-born, has no way here,
But in the womb of good intention fails,
The heart's abortion! Ay, and thuswise too,
Full many a foul intent in that it has
No power or place of action is debarred
A monstrous birth. So nature haply does
In some mysterious way we do not know
Still hold the balance 'tween the good and ill
Of thought in action here, and we become
(In spite of our own selves full oft indeed)
Dispensers of a higher equity
Than the bare law of reason would allow.

Reveal the higher power,
Reveal the higher power,
Reveal the higher power,
Before I die,
I think that I got that will,
The higher power will make me great,
Thinking that my throne,
This is the house of hopes,
All that I have to do,
This is that understanding,
By your love I saw the house of glory,
In all that I have to do,
There is no need to cry,
Come and make me understand the life making me,
Before I die,
Reveal the higher power from the heavenly Creator.

My Heavenly Dream
How could I
So Much without love
Come to speak secret things
From Heaven above?
Born of my need
Only love I desired
I flew angel speed
To Heaven up higher
I saw things so dear
My eyes were made new
A splendor so clear
Like the first morning dew
What there I did hear
Made my heart all anew
It was given to me
So to share it with you
The Love in that place
Is beyond all desire
They call it God's Grace
In heaven up higher
It was given to me
But not mine to keep
It's yours too you see
So to stars we can leap!
This Glorious Love
I knew in my sleep
From High up above
In my heart now so deep
Just dream of Love Pure
All the Love you desire
It's yours to be sure
From Heaven up higher
This Love in my dream
So unknown just before
To stars must I stream
To sense it once more?
This Love I know true
In my heart tho' broken
Is all here for you
In these tender words spoken:
'I Love you! We Love you! '
Three words o' so dear
From His heaven up Higher
To your hearts down here

Make each day Valentine's Day and create a heaven of earth
We all know
That we are here
On this earth
Because of love
And we are sustaining
Because of love
Generations ahead
Depend on the love
We are going to demonstrate
We have been advancing
Our ways of living
And enhancing our levels of comforts
In the process we lost sight
Of the above fact
And we need a day’s celebration
To keep us reminded
Of the above universal truth
It looks
We started believing that
Life is driven by the fuel of
Money, power and fame
And no longer
Life is to be lived and enjoyed
With the nectar of love and affection
And it is enough we live a day each year
Demonstrating our love to others
On this Valentine ’s Day
Let us make
Each day Valentine’s Day
Express and demonstrate
Love for all people around
And for all living things around
And create a heaven of earth

The Power
A wave of power rushes past you on a windy day
waving your hair into disarray and tingling your skin
A formless power makes you comfortable in the biting cold
the same power fills you in agony, pain and suffering
when you go straight to possess the heart of that comfortable power
and it is the same power which falls out of the clouds in little drops
and each of these are a single form of power
for the power is in the air
and the power is in the fire and the power is in the water.
A beam of power ricochets into your eyes from something
and you are illuminated with the beauty of the complete world
you see the ugly, you see the amazing, you see the violent,
and you see every solid and pattern
you see darkness behind an object in the form of it
lying in the ground or right beside your arm
and even in the darkness, there are objects and things
which has a power that enables you a touch of it.
All for the reason that the power is in the objects,
and the power is in the light and even the darkness and shadows.
A form of the same power enables you,
to know the presence of your woman near you
the same form of power gives you, the knowledge
of the proximity of your best food.
For the power is in the scent and smell
and the power is even in your nose that smells.
A vibe of power rings in your ear
and you know that something is somewhere near
and your tongue that knows the quality of the food
is all the power that's doing you good
the sound is itself the power
and so is the ear and the tongue
the tongue that so eagerly tastes your favorite food
the food which contains the power in itself too.
All this time you and me are here
and all this time everything else is there,
is for the power is everywhere;
the power pumps inside your body all the time
and even when you are dead and bloodless,
the power is still there in your veins and muscles.
The power is the life, the soul
the touch, the light, the darkness, the sound
the sentiments flowing inside you is the power
the strike you make in anger is the power,
and the power is existence, energy, substance, and motion.
The power was in the place where God was born
the God is Himself the power
and like God Himself,
the power is omnipotent, and it is there where existence is there.

Higher & Higher
Blasting, billowing, bursting forth
With the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man with his flaming pyre
Has conquered the wayward breezes
Climbing to tranquility
Far above the cloud
Conceiving the heavens
Clear of misty shroud
Higher and higher
Now weve learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher
Vast vision must improve our sight
Perhaps at last well see and end
To our homes endless blight
And the beginning of the free
Climb to tranquility
Finding its real worth
Conceiving the heavens
Florishing on earth
Higher and higher
Now weve learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher

A Simple Realisation
For a while I thought
blind worshiping was a valid option.
For a life secured by the
higher power, blind worshiping loses
its validity indefinitely.
I thought this higher power
always had a clear purpose.
I was proven wrong, however,
when a father one day
killed his son
in sacrifice to the
the higher power.
Do you see the irony here,
the man here acts as a monster
in favor of the higher power.
Worship here has fashioned
a gothic cloak.
Human heart is a beautiful gift,
the paradox is it also can mean
something utterly gruesome.

Blasting, billowing, bursting forth with the
Power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man, with his flaming fire, has conquered the wayward breezes
Climbing to tranquility far above the cloud
Conceiving the heaven clear of misty shroud
CHORUS
Higher and higher, now we've learned to play with fire
We go higher and higher and higher
Vast vision must improve our sight and perhaps at last we'll see
An end to our home's endless blight and the beginning of the Free
Climb to tranquility, finding its real worth

Heal the pain
Let me tell you a secret
Put it in your heart and keep it
Something that I want you to know
Do something for me
Listen to my simple story
And maybe we'll have something to show
You tell me you're old on the inside
How can the outside world
Be a place that your heart can embrace
Be good to yourself
Because nobody else
Has the power to make you happy
How can I help you
Please let me try to
I can heal the pain
That you're feeling inside
Whenever you want me
You know that I will be
Waiting for the day
That you say you'll be mine
He must have really hurt you
To make you say the things that you do
He must have really hurt you
To make those pretty eyes look so blue
He must have known
That he could
That you'd never leave him
Now you can't see my love is good
And that I'm not him
How can I help you
Please let me try to
I can heal the pain
Won't you let me inside
Whenever you want me
You know that I will be
Waiting for the day
That you say you'll be mine
Who needs a lover
That can't be a friend
Something tells me I'm the one you've been looking for
If you ever should see him again
Won't you tell him you've found someone who gives you more
Someone who will protect you
Love and respect you
All those things
That he never could bring to you
Like I do
Or rather I would
Won't you show me your heart
Like you should
Won't you let me in
Let this love begin
Won't you show me your heart now
I'll be good to you
I can make this true
And get to your heart somehow

Higher Ground
Walk me over this situation
Let the suns light warm my face
Once again the times are changing
Once again Ive lost my way
While the words of acient poets
Fall like dust upon my shoes
Greed has grabbed me of my vision
Turned my heart from higher truths
So take my hand and lift me higher
Be my love and my desire
Hold me safe, in honor bound
Take my heart to higher ground
I have walked too long in darkness
I have walked too long alone
Blindy clutching fist of diamonds
That I found were only stones
I would trade the wealth of ages
For a warmer hand to hold
Though the path of life is narrow
But it leads the streets of gold
So take my hand and lift me higher
Be my love and my desire
Hold me safe, in honor bound
Take my heart to higher ground
In this world we move through shadows
Never sure of what we see
While the truth abides between us
Come and share the truth with me
So take my hand and lift me higher
Be my love and my desire
Hold me safe in honor bound
Take my heart to higher ground
Ooh, ooh

Protect Me From What I Want
Its that desease of the age
Its that desease that we crave
Alone at the end of the race
We catch the last bus home
Corporate america wakes
Coffee republic in case
We open the latch on the gate
Of the hole that we call our home
Protect me from what I want...
Protect me protect me
Maybe were victims of fate
Remember when wed celebrate
Wed drink and get high until late
And now were all alone
Wedding bells aint gonna chime
With both of us guilty of crime
And both of us sentenced to time
And now were all alone
Protect me from what I want...
Protect me protect me
Protect me from what I want...
Protect me protect me
Protect me from what I want...
Protect me protect me
Protect me from what I want...
Protect me protect me

What Goes Around Comes Around
My pockets were full now my money's gone
My friends come around and now they're gone
Things come and they come and then they go
And where they go nobody knows
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
My cup over runneth with fullness and grace
Yet people push bullshit in my face
The future can't hold what your money can't buy
My brother keep striving your child relies
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
This world keeps on spinning does the future know ?
We're destined to screw ourselves one blow
We've ruined what's pure down from nature below
You'd better look back it'll all be gone
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
So children please listen this world is yours
This message is too deep to ignore
Your forefathers said but they did not do
The things that would show that they cared for you
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
It's gonna come around
What goes around comes around
Comes around comes around comes around [X3]
Comes around yeah
Gonna take you higher
I'm gonna take you higher [X2]
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm gonna take you higher
Gonna take higher
Yeah yeah yeah
Gonna take you higher higher
Higher higher higher higher
Gonna take you higher
Gonna take you higher
