Bodhisattva Vow
As i develop the awakening mind i praise the buddha as they shine
I bow before you as i travel my path to join your ranks,
I make my full time task
For the sake of all beings i seek
The enlighted mind that i know i'll reap
Respect to shantideva and all the others
Who brought down the darma for sisters and brothers
I give thanks for this world as a place to learn
And for this human body that i know i've earned
And my deepest thanks to all sentient beings
For without them there would be no place to learn what i'm seeing
There's nothing here that's not been said before
But i put it down now so i'll be sure

The circumstances for the learning that we're here to generate
Situations that bring up our deepest fears
So we can work to release them until they're cleared
Therefore, it only makes sense
To thank our enemies despite their intent
The bodhisattva path is one of power and strength
A strength from within to go the length
Seeing others are as important as myself
I strive for a happiness of mental wealth
With the interconnectedness that we share as one
Every action that we take affects everyone
So in deciding for what a situation calls
There is a path for the good for all
I try to make my every action for that highest good
With the altruistic wish to achive buddhahood
So i pledge here before everyone who's listening
To try to make my every action for the good of all beings
For the rest of my lifetimes and even beyond
I vow to do my best to do no harm
And in times of doubt i can think on the dharma
And the enlightened ones who've graduated samsara

What is perfection?
You mean precision
Accuracy in action
Or planning in anticipation
Nobody is perfect
Good ideas to inject

Observe minutely the object

What is most important?
The action meant to be instant?
The reality and not the stunts
Or the capacity to bear the brunt
What does the seed do when planted?
How does the man react when hunted?
What can be the reaction when openly blunted?
It will be pity if you know the reason for being shunted
Everybody will need proper care and attention
If not, then it will create problems with tension
What all others things are needed for proper plantation?
There should be no reason for any hesitation
The base has to be strong for any good foundation
No one may prefer to go for or against without any recommendation
There has to be sincere efforts for calling a day
You can hold roots with firm commitment to say
Some of the martial races observe strict laws
For centuries they have remained outlaws
Still they have peculiar character to maintain
They have vigorous power to combat and contain
we commit error and regret later
Then nothing can be done for subject matter
It has o be planted with full care
You may have all the clues from some where
It has to be strictly observed from the very beginning
It will be of no use to offer regrets or start grinning
The structure has to stand erect and firm
You have to be sole judge for it and confirm
The roots will not be shaken for silly reason
The bold action on your part may make you good person

Along life's journey God's decreed
Are always stops and starts
And yet good people meet each need
Because they have good hearts.
They may have twinkles in their eyes,

It took years to close a door
that should not have been opened.
Now that the action has been finalized...
There is knocking.
To gain entry.
There is a curiousity,
As to 'how' needs are met...
Without a concern shown or a help request.
It's not understood.
The action taken,
Did the one doing it some good.
A seriousness done shook up the ones
Accustomed to a life of jokes and fun!
