Amongst the great Names, were the Freuds
Who collectively suffered from 'roids
Said their Doc with surprise
Oh my dears with that size
I suggest you insure 'em with Lloyds.

My Little Doll

I once had a sweet little doll, dears,
The prettiest doll in the world;
Her cheeks were so red and so white, dears,
And her hair was so charmingly curled.
But I lost my poor little doll, dears,
As I played in the heath one day;
And I cried for more than a week, dears,
But I never could find where she lay.

I found my poor little doll, dears,
As I played in the heath one day:
Folks say she is terribly changed, dears,
For her paint is all washed away,
And her arms trodden off by the cows, dears
And her hair not the least bit curled:
Yet for old sakes' sake she is still, dears,
The prettiest doll in the world.

In Our Symposium

He....., a gentleman generous and broad-minded
Who we can't stand without saying 'Yes'.
Sometimes, he may be sensitive.
But for us, he's like a sky positive.
Ow! dears, how splendid our Sayagyi(teacher) is!

She....., a lady luminous and patient
Who we bow with paying respect.
Sometimes, she may be lazy.
But for us, she's like a sea steady.
Ow! dears, what our lovely Sayamagyi(teacher) !

There....., a place fantastic and miraculous
Where our hearts and brains are ably absorbed.
Sometimes, it may have problems.
But for us, it's like a paradise of freedom.
Ow! dears, what our breathtaking symposium!

We....., guys kind-hearted and dutiful
Who also have legacy of confidence wonderful.
Sometimes, we may build up over friendship together.
But generally, we're just like brothers and sisters.
Ow! dears, be proud of being symposiast forever!

The One

No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Heard you had a story to tell
Sold your soul in a kiss and tell
Sliding down on a helter skelter ride
Into yesterday
No way out, the price of fame
Once its told will you be the same
Rolling down on a roller coaster ride
Well be waiting for you
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Shock the world with your fall from grace
Glory days gone without a trace
No surprise youre a face without a name
But we all still love you
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
You wanna be the one
Its time to tell you
Were faithful and true
Take us back to the days
When we could dream
cos it makes us happy
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one again
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one
No surprise
No surprise
Hey that you wanna be the one

Not Every Poem Knows How To Say Its Own Name Properly

NOT EVERY POEM KNOWS HOW TO SAY ITS OWN NAME PROPERLY

Not every poem knows how to say its own name properly-
There are poems that have no name
And poems that are named by others who have not written them-
There are poems whose names make them what they are
And poems whose names contradict and belie them-
Many poems have their first lines as their names
And these poems often are as memorable as one line only-
Great poems and good poems can be nameless
Or can have unforgettable names.

Not every poem knows how to say its own name properly -
Poems are poems are poems
And names are names are names
And sometimes they meet and are one
And live happily ever after-
But there are times when perhaps
They never should have met each other at all.

Poems have their names
And names have their poems
But sometimes they love each other
And truly are one.

I Want My Name So Much To Be A Name

I WANT MY NAME SO MUCH TO BE A NAME

I want my name so much to be a name-
But when I am gone
What will that name mean to me?

Your name too
What will it mean
In the great distances?

Names and more names
Only G-d knows.
God has many names
And no name
And only One Name

Why should I insist so much
On my own name?
When only God can know
All the Names
Even God’s own.

People Choose To Lay Up On Their Backsides

'I have suffered this.
I have suffered that.'

'I have suffered this.
And,
I suffer from that.'

Hear them talk about their pains,
And those agonies they reveal.

'I have suffered this.
I have suffered that.'

And...
Listen how they boast about,
Reasons why they choose NOT to heal.

'I have suffered this.
And,
I suffer from that.'

People like to stay flat on their back-
Sides!
People like to moan and that's a fact.

People like to stay flat on their back-
Sides!
People like to feel that keep it real...
To suffer!

'I have suffered this.
I have suffered that.'

'I have suffered this.
And,
I suffer from that.'

'I have suffered this.
I have suffered that.'

'I have suffered this.
And,
I suffer from that.'
And...
People choose to lay up on their backsides!
Listen to their reasons NOT to heal!

'I have suffered this.
I have suffered that.
I have suffered this.
And...
I suffer from that.'

People choose to lay up on their backsides!

Sisyphus My Friend

sisyphus my friend
what rock shall we roll
tonight
on this hilltop?

tell me, what size of rock
fits my size today,
i am big and my shoulders are broad
i have a happy disposition
i am used to all these
burdens and they all seem the same to me
i get used to rolling rocks
and i like them all
they all feel the same to me
you see, my friend,

nothing is heavy now
nothing hurts
nothing is worth thinking
nothing is worth complaining

i like everything
i like all these burdens

everything is a play now
a game
a gimmickry, a role playing, a sham,

and i am so shocked
why they write about us

why they think
we are stupid, dumb, and so unjust

come my friend
let us be as absurd as ever

come my friend
let us be great
let us carve our names in stone

twin sisyphus, the confused,
yet, still so strong...

Sonnet- On Insurance

The modern trend's to insure everything,
Like house and house-hold articles from theft;
As unnatural events, the world can bring,
And penniless, a man can then be left.

Even our life must be insured these days,
As accidents and diseases afflict;
Our profession too must be safe always!
As losses great, life can on us inflict.

Does man insure his soul from devil's theft?
What Policy will guard his soul's good health?
What is the use of soul with grace bereft?
The purity of soul is our best wealth.

Faith is the Policy all men must take;
And preserve soul from sins for Heaven's sake.

Turn it

I would like to suggest
a universal form
is the discipline
to write history

I would like to suggest changes in the relationship
towards a goal
I'm going to frontload

In fact, I'd like to argue
not the history of childhood
or great American conquest
and the myths that we believe in
but by our own experience
infused with a spirit of grace
radically changed
beautifully formed
like an individual

Be At Peace

I do not wish to have you cry
for though I'm gone I did not die.

I do not wish for you to grieve.
For it was my time, my dears to leave.

I do not wish for anyone
to wonder what they could have done.

For to rue in my absence words not said
does not make sense for I'm not dead.

For I'm the sun, the stars, the moon
and I'm the morning, night and noon.

I'm the butterfly flitting in air.
I'm the babe that has no care.

I'm the music in your ear
that let's you know that I am near.

And so my loved ones be at peace'
Let your memories of me release

every teardropp that you cry,
because my dears I did not die.

How It All Began

So we settled it all when the storm was done
As comfy as comfy could be;
And I was to wait in the barn, my dears,
Because I was only three.
And Teddy would run to the rainbow's foot
Because he was five and a man--
And that's how it all began, my dears,
And that's how it all began!

Cater and Allen

Cater and Allen were not paying interest
So transferring the money to Lloyds Rob thought best
But now £100 by mistake to Roy's great disgrace
Has been accidently sent into hyperspace.

The question is will this forever be its fate
Or will it ever be retrieved for Rob's estate.
No doubt the saga will continue to unfold
Until the money returns safely to the fold.

The last gaze at you, my dear

The last gaze at you, my dear

When we first met
In the midst of relatives
Parents of both of us
Busy talking about each of us
Our strengths
And our weaknesses
And how well we would make
A great match
Each one making up the lapses
Of the other
Each one living together
In total harmony
We got married
Experienced each other’s
Greats and follies
For thirty six years
In the process me bearing
Two sons in a row
And third a daughter
How many heights we scaled
How many dips we suffered
Somehow both managing well
Each situation
Most of the time
Very close to our satisfaction
And very close to the delight of
Nears and dears
And now you lying there motionless
Waiting for the rites to be completed
So that you will finish your last journey
And get consigned to the fire
Our first son will light
I will never get a chance to see you again
The most loved person of mine
Let me recollect the full
Story of ours
Before you leave once and for all
And hence this
Last gaze at you, my dear

Insofar as I may be heard by anything, which may or may not care what I say, I ask, if it matters, that you be forgiven for anything you may have done or failed to do which requires forgiveness. Conversely, if not forgiveness but something else may be required to insure any possible benefit for which you may be eligible after the destruction of your body, I ask that this, whatever it may be, be granted or withheld, as the case may be, in such a manner as to insure your receiving said benefit. I ask this in my capacity as your elected intermediary between yourself and that which may not be yourself, but which may have an interest in the matter of your receiving as much as it is possible for you to receive of this thing, and which may in some way be influenced by this ceremony. Amen.

Man Of My Dreams

[Verse 1:]
I remember the first day I met you
All I thought was dawn how can I get you
You below my mind in a very special way
I'mpossible for me to get away
Since that day you're creeping in my mind
Silky velvet ocean of green eyes
I'm dreaming of the day we meet again
But this time I won't let you slip away

[Chorus:]
Man of my dreams
Come in my life and fill my nights
With emotions and bliss
I wanna get to know your everything
Man of my dreams
There ain't no extreme there is no price
You don't have to compromise
I know you are my size

[Verse 2:]
Yesterday you took me by surprise
When you called just to see if I'm alright
My heart was jumping suffered an attack
I'mpossible for me to catch my breath
Here I am the feeling is so right it's mutual and strong
'Cause tonight is the night
Just let it flow the way it wants to go no need to hesitate our star shines bright

Sonnet: When Death Comes Like a Thief…

Behind the veil of newer grief and tears,
God’s Will be done in every Christian’s life;
The love of God may take away few dears,
And tests us with great woes and added strife.

The ways of God are stranger than we think;
He takes some righteous who deserve heaven;
He wipes out evil souls whose sins may stink;
He ignores some for long, whose God’s demon.

Yet, when death strikes a person most holy,
The righteous pray in unison to God
To comfort members of his family,
All shocked by stricken grief that’s just but odd!

God’s ways surprise the wisest ones on earth;
His love of mankind never suffers dearth.
