He night shades are lowering;
The sun in the heavens, like a king in all his glory
Adorned in dazzling raiment which reflects its colors in the mirrored skies,
Slowly and majestically bows himself away from off the earth,
Leaving the world to encroaching darkness;
To the mysteries of night.
And I?--I am afraid;
My heart trembles and sinks with fear and expectation of what awaits me;
In my brain there is confusion
And my thoughts run wildly, beating against my throbbing temples--
Shrieking their mockery and derision as I gaze after the last rays of light,
Seeking protection and solace in the dying day.
How I long to weep--Yet am I not happy?
How I could dance and laugh and scream with mad joy:
But a mournful sadness steals over my heart and I shiver with cold;
Something--something is ebbing away from within me.
The minutes are fleeing fast,

A Child Of Satan
I curse the sarcastic sun
And the mockery of flowers!
Everywhere I turn I see the children run
And play - they're having such fun
Making the most of the long summer hours,

Is happy now - I seem to be the only one
With darkness in my heart
Where, cold as a tomb,
I nurse my vile, unforgiving thoughts,
My evil spawn in this hidden, deadly womb

The sun is slowly setting.
The sunset is magnificent with the different shades of pink and red spread across the sky.
I touch your cheek and notice just how pale it really is.
The sun is slowly setting.
My smile falters as you hush my voice and murmur time is short.
My mind is telling me to leave, but my heart is pleading me to stay.
The sun is slowly setting.
You grab my hand and draw me close to you.
I look into your eyes, and search for something evil, but all I see is love.
The sun is slowly setting.
I lean my head against your chest and take in all your love.
You wrap your arms around me and tell me not to be afraid.

As I lay there dying

butterfly’s danced in my stomach that night
finally in your arms
with you holding me tight
I knew what would happen

The Firefly's Fascination
On the flight of the moon to aflame the night,
A firefly's looking up to the light he much adored,
Seem a light of a firefly that he's longing for.
Her brilliant dancing fire,
The endless flashes of light,
Her dazzling face he desire
It was so bright,
so bright.
All he did by night was to look above
He never let his light fade just awhile,
He hopes to be noticed by her love,
Just see his light, then shine and smile.

He just turned seventeen
When the moment came
He was standing on the corner
In the pouring rain
She pulled up along side
And rolled the window down

To some part of town
Hes sitting beside her
With a great big smile

I Love You
I love your lips when they're wet with wine
And red with a wild desire;
