In the 1999 resolution regarding Taiwan's future passed by the Democratic Progressive Party, it is stated very clearly that any change to the status quo of Taiwan must be decided by the people of Taiwan through referenda.

As Taiwan's friend and ally, I believe it is important for the United States to monitor the situation in the Taiwan Strait very carefully to help ensure Taiwan is not forced into a position which would endanger its freedom or its democracy.
When I was in Taiwan, I was taught in school that Taiwan is part of China.
RIP The Night Away (Sunrise Reprise Remix)
If it ain't natural, then it ain't real
Ohh we gon' be kickin' tonight
We gon' be sipping tonight
Ripping the night away (rip the night away)
Ohh, when the time is right
Another full moon light
We rip the night away (rip the night away)
If this was the last joint, that we ever rolled up tight,
I'd want to be with good friends, underneath that open sky,
Play some mellow music, throw our dreams into the fire,
Release all the demons, and our souls are uprising
Oh we gon' be kickin' tonight
We gon' be sipping tonight
Ripping the night away (rip the night away)
Oh, when the time is right
Another full moon light
We rip the night away (rip the night away)
Oh we gon' be kickin' tonight
We gon' be sipping tonight
Ripping the night away (rip the night away)
Oh, when the time is right
Another full moon light
We rip the night away (rip the night away)
There's nothing in the world like some good times and good vibes
Surrounded with your friends and your family by your side
All the time you spent together going out havin' fun
Doin' the things you do, this life style's got us on the run
Life's too precious every moment make it count
Some days you're on the top some day's you're down and out
This life's a gift, I'm gonna shine my light
So sit back, relax, get high, with us and kick it with us tonight
Oh we gon' be kickin' tonight
We gon' be sipping tonight
Ripping the night away (rip the night away)
Oh, when the time is right
Another full moon light
We rip the night away (rip the night away)
Oh we gon' be kickin' tonight
We gon' be sipping tonight
Ripping the nigh

Take me to the mountain high, where I can smoke a bowl in peace while I drive
I'm on a
Back road with my sunroof open, on the way to meet the friends, we'll gather and tokin', and we
Build a fire and chill for the night, get drunk on old times and roll a few, what I like we just,
Sit there, fire and reminisce 'bout the best days of our lives and we be the ones blazin'

Tomorrow After Yesterday
Your hands cupped together,
holding an ocean of tears,
Your eyes are the clouds,
of the atmosphere,
releasing raindrops one by one down your face.
Your crying reminds me of the sleepless thunders,
that never stops,
adding more and more tears to the ocean in your hands.
Your heart beating fast with anxiety,
waiting for the pain to become part of the past.
You're better than that.
So push the clouds away,
Open your eyes,
drain the ocean in your hands,
and breathe in the new day.

A Peace; A Piece
there's a peace kept gently cupped in my hands
a tiny, living, breathing peace
a solitary, intrinsic peace
kept alive by my heartbeat and my hope
a piece of an as-of-yet untold tomorrow
a piece of sunshine and unfulfilled justice
that every man, woman, and child
holds cradled in their hands
a piece of a worldly, blood-weary peace

After A Long Drought
She held my beating heart
Within her cupped hands
As the blood flowed
She felt its warmth
Her hands swelled
With the heat
The blood released
It was like a swollen cloud
Filled with rain
Pouring out
Upon the parched soil
Longing for moisture
After a long drought
The cloudburst quenched
The dry earth
And the humidity
Filled the air
The musk
Filled our nostrils
As we collapsed

Here Comes The Moon
Everybodys talking up a storm
Act like they dont notice it
But here it is and here it comes . . .
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Impulse always quickens when its full
As it turns my head around me
Yes it does and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Gods gift I see thats moving up there into the night . . .
Though dark the mirror in the sky reflects us our light:
Looks like a little brother to the sun
Or mother to the stars at night
And here it is and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon, the moon.
Breath is always taken when its new
Enhance upon the clouds around it
Yes it is and here it comes
Here comes the moon, the moon, the moon.

The Way We Were
sipping one coffee
licking same ice cream on the cone
spraying same perfume
drinking one coca-cola
eating same slice of pizza
bathing together
sleeping in one bed cover
one fried egg sunny side up
seeing through
one empty hole of dunkin' doughnut
laughing on grin jokes
holding hands while walking
on the boulevard
admiring the sunset
sitting on the bench
under the moon
your head resting on my shoulder
kisses for the night
we made love....
how can we ever forget?
the way we were

Pine
I felt your lips
On mine.
My hands
Cupped your face
For that drink divine.
I sipped you…
Unto eternity.
Yet to quench
That aeon of
Thirst -
From those
Lips of thine,
My heart would
Forever pine.

I tip toe
Through the door with a box of 40s
Party just to bounce
And house full of hoes
No set trippin
Just sipping on s.t.
That's how we do it in the l.b.c.
Here ye, here ye
Come one come all
It's the first annual g nigg
And all my dogs
Are invited so go on and light it
Cause it's the first time in a longtime
And i just might
Reminisce about the fresh vest
Back in '85
When the dub and the zaniaks used to hoo ride
It was easy just to serve on the curve that's how i do
Ain't no slippin, dippin
Now i'm sipping on my brew
Staying true cause now i'm supposed to
Grab my little friend
Then my deuce deuce
I gets lose with my hands on my drinks
