Warming Brew!
Running in circles screaming and laughing, touching and reeling, escaping!
A burst of excitement, adrenalin courses through our veins heightening
Our excitement!
Our breath rises in vapour like a steam engine of old or a boiling kettle ready for a warming brew.
Life is a playground full of wonder, ready to be explored, friends loyal and true
Like musketeers on a quest!
These where such halcyon days, care free, untroubled from life’s pressures and demands.
worry was not an option!
Our youth, passionate, fresh, our minds racing and new, the world was seen so clearly!
If only we could see life through a Childs eyes in older age?
No colour, no race, no creed, no sex, no discrimination just oneness!
Perhaps this world would be a much better place?

Through a Childs Eyes
The world to us is a disgrace,
No hope is there for the human race,
People fighting endless wars,
Through no reason, to settle scores,
Crime is on the increase,
Drugs abuse is a problem now,
How do we protect our children,
For I fear we don't know how,
Well look at life through a childs eyes,
Through there innocence they will cope, ,
They don't see this world as dangerous,
But a place thats full of hope,
They don't look at the colour of skin,
When with friends they want to play,
They don't comment on religion,
Or which way that you should pray,
They are happy to play with anyone,
They just want to be friends,
Innocence is wonderful I think,
It has no need to make amends,
So if we teach them well enough,
Maybe they will interact,
And come to some agreement,
Maybe one day make it fact,
That this world with all its greed and hate,
Its bloody battles, wars and lies,
Could improve so dramatically,
If we looked through a childs eyes

The playground of life
My childhood was rare
Before the nightmares and fears
Brothers, sisters, friends
Running, jumping, climbing
Enjoying the freedom of being a kid
We explored the beauty
Of the countryside
Its creeks, crystal clear
Trees in abundance to climb
Sharing secrets with sisters
Giggling and laughing
Just playing in the sun
We did this in secret
Before mum and dad came home
Bothe of them working
To give us a roof, cloths and food
We explored in our own playground
The playground of life
We conquered the world
And swung like Tarzan
Pretended we won
A war in a chant
Now as I stand on the banks
Of my childhood field
I remember the laughter
And playing in the sun
And smile with a tear
Wishing I was a child once again

What's In It For Me?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE HAVE TIME FOR TWITTER AND FACEBOOK, BUT NONE FOR THEMSELVES OR OTHERS,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE HAVE A HUNDRED 'FRIENDS' ON FACEBOOK,
BUT NOT EVEN TEN IN REAL LIFE
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE EMOTE WITH EMOTICONS BUT NOT WITH THEIR FACES,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE PREFER TO WRITE 'LOL' RATHER THAN ACTUALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE LOVE THEIR COMPUTER MORE THAN THEIR FRIENDS,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIVES MORE ONLINE THAN OFF IT,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE CAN SPOT THE ERROR IN SOMEONE'S TYPING BUT CANNOT SPOT A TEAR IN A FRIEND'S EYE,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE CAN GROW ANY CROP ONLINE BUT CANNOT EVEN PICK UP A SPADE IN REAL LIFE,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE RELISH THE FOOD AT MCDONALDS AND DOMINOS, BUT CRIB OVER HOME COOKED FOOD,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE ARE READY TO KILL FOR A FEW SHREDS OF PAPER,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE KILL IN THE NAME OF RELIGION,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE A MAN IS READY TO KILL HIS BROTHER OVER PROPERTY AND MONEY,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE THE VALUE OF MONEY IS MORE THAN THE VALUE OF LIFE,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE LIVING A LIFE IS TOUGHER THAN KILLING A LIFE,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE IT'S EASIER TO EARN MONEY BY CHEATING THAN BY WORKING HONESTLY,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE THE VALUE OF A GIFT IS THROUGH ITS PRICE AND NOT ITS EMOTIONS,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE THE MEASURE OF A MAN IS THROUGH HIS CAR AND HOUSE RATHER THAN HIS CHARACTER,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE LOVE THEIR POSSESSIONS MORE THAN THEIR FRIENDS AND PARENTS,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE THINGS ARE LOVED AND PEOPLE ARE USED,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD WHERE PEOPLE DO ANYTHING FOR A BETTER PAY BUT NOTHING FOR A BETTER CONSCIENCE,
EVEN IF I WIN THIS WORLD WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
THE WORLD IS BAD AND I KNOW THAT BUT SILL IF I WIN THIS WORLD,
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?

My Trinity
For all good friends who care to read,
here let me lyre my living creed . . .
One: you may deem me Pacifist,
For I've no sympathy with strife.
Like hell I hate the iron fist,
And shun the battle-ground of life.
The hope of peace is dear to me,
And I to Christian faith belong,
Holding that breath should sacred be,
And War is always wrong.
Two: Universalist am I
And dream a world that's frontier free,
With common tongue and common tie,
Uncurst by nationality;
Where colour, creed and class are one,
And lowly folk are lifted high;
Where every breed beneath the sun
Is equal in God's eye.
Three: you may call me Naturist,
For green glade is my quiet quest;
The path of progress I have missed,
And shun the city's sore unrest.
A world that's super-civilized
Is one of worry, want and woe;
In leafy lore let me be wised
And back to Nature go.
Well, though you may but half agree,
Behold my trusty Trinity

Feelings: Contradicting Ideas, Passionate Mind
Contradicting Ideas
In a love-hate relationship with the
Internet, for every beautiful thought
that elevates, ten dissenters appear
two sentences later
Bizarre ideas resonate with me, cold
facts are repelling; only small aspects
of truth can be discerned, I’m swayed
by everything
Creating an exciting life, creating havoc
never sure where I am or what I feel, but
committing to one alternative only
is not an option
I prefer weaving about in a sea of
contradicting ideas, rather than
end the journey with one viewpoint
only, safely in port
For me, the journey is everything!
Passionate Mind
Only challenges make life worthwhile
I love excitement and wild adrenalin
an office job, a quiet suburban life
can’t keep me occupied - quite clear
it is an act to appear sane, bohemian
spirit masquerading under middle-class
respectability, covering inner turmoil
with urban veneer, trying to cut out
ungainly parts of my passionate mind
like a Cinderella only fitting the shoe
once her feet are cut down to size…
Though rebellion is cut away, the quest
for meaning goes on, one day I hope to
settle down and be calm like you...

Life is short, running like the wind (Song)
God Created, Given as a life.
Touching the people, leaving the people
Moving from place to place
Life is short, running like the wind.
Flowing through the valleys, touching the water
Flowing through the mountains, touching the cliffs
Flowing through the deserts,
Flowing on the oceans and
Running around the earth.
Life is short, running like the wind.
Touching the people, spinning the lives
Touching the old and touching the young
Touching the women and touching the men
Flowing on the ground and playing with the kids.
Life is short, running like the wind.
Running through the villages,
Gushing through the towns,
Swirling in the deserts,
Storming on the oceans,
Touching the earth and calming down.
Life is short, running like the wind.
Touching the flowers, spreading the fragrance
Flowing in the sky and flying the kites
Speeding in the places and spinning the windmills
Running on the rivers and pushing the boats
Life is short, running like the wind.
Days are in and nights are out
Seasons are spinning, time is running
Teja is playing, music sheet is ending
Life is short, running like the wind.
Eyes are closing, dreams are flowing
Going into sleep and day is moving
Life is short, running like the wind.

NEW Breath Of Life
I look has the sun rises to bring the end of a cold night
The breeze of the morning sun wakes up the world
But there are parts that don’t get touched by the sun
The dark figures rest in the shadows
The wait for the night to come alive
Blood thirsty with a moments notice
There are some people that can go into the shadows
They are outsiders of the mortal race
They want to learn about the magic that make up life
The dark figures tell the outsides about the way of the night
They ask an outsider to join their side
The outsider agrees without hesitation
He becomes a creature of both night and day
He gets a new breath of life
The power of love, hate and pain went thought his body
The day sun shined and hurt his eyes
He is becoming a werewolf
With blood boiling in his veins
He thinks what he did to his life
I am a creature of the night he yells to the moon
That this a sound he hears in his ears
He opens his eyes and finds that it was all a dream
Or was it
That night the full moon rise
And fur goes around him and he howls long and loud
Blood lust in his new eyes looking for a kill
He takes on a bear and eats until full
And runs away and wakes up to the sun again
Does not remember anything
Except a new breath of life

So ready
So ready to take off
So ready to dive into the rest of my life
So ready to leave y family behind
As I go explore what the world has to offer
So ready to stop feeling so worthless
So ready to get up and try again
So ready to face the world on my own

The Race Of Standing Still
I'm racing racing towards it
Like when I was a small boy
Cutting through a waving field
Decorated by summer sunlight
Unable to remember
Unable to forget
Unable yet at peace
Unable yet scared
I'm racing racing towards it with fear and excitement
They seem unseperable
They seem so far apart
They are my close friends
They are my very ghosts
I'm racing towards it
Holding perfectly still
In the race of standing still

I Am
I am your spoken truth
I am the lies in you
Im gonna make you shine in everything you do
I am your lighted way
And Im your darkest day
Im here to help you see you can rely on me
Just consider me your friend
I am until the end
Can I guarantee you life?
I dont think I can
This isnt the life for me
This isnt the way I want to be
And let me tell you
Death will come when Im good and ready
I am your peace of mind
Confusing all your time
Im running through your veins, I am your pain
I thought by now youd know
Ill never let you go
Its time you recognize I am the devils eyes
Just consider me your friend
I am until the end
Can I guarantee you life?
I dont think I can
This isnt the life for me
This isnt the way I want to be
And let me tell you
Death will come when Im good and ready
This isnt the life for me
This isnt the way I want to be
And let me tell you
Death will come when Im good and ready
Take me by my hand
And let me show you what I am
Im taking control again
Now I know I can
Take you back to where it all began
cause I am
This isnt the life for me
This isnt the way I want to be
And let me tell you
Death will come when Im good and ready
This isnt the life for me
This isnt the way I want to be
And let me tell you
Death will come when Im good and ready

Wide Open - Sugarland
Oh ay oh ay oh
Oh ay oh ay oh
Oh ay oh ay oh
Oh ay oh ay oh
vs.1 I've been waiting my whole life betting on a change,
See it coming getting better, getting better now.
Feel the shake shake steady of a soul to the flame.
Come in closer, oh come feel the love on the inside,
Electric current in my veins
Lets me know I'm alive,
I burn, I breathe, I blink, I change.
(chorus)
Wide wide wide wide open,
And its a fine fine fine fine world,
And this is my my life I'm hoping,
Will be a fine fine fine fine world.
Oh ay oh ay oh
Oh ay oh ay oh
vs.2 Every life has a moment where sweat meets fate,
On your mark get ready, get ready now.
Gonna find out fast what a heart can take.
Come in closer, oh come feel the love on the inside,
Electric current in my veins
Lets me know I'm alive,
I burn I breathe I blink I.........
(chorus)
Around a wide, wide, wide, wide open
And its a fine fine fine fine world.
(oh ay oh ay oh)
Get ready get ready now (oh ay oh ay oh)
Get ready get ready now (oh ay oh ay oh)
Get ready get ready now (oh ay oh ay oh)

Yes, long hours and a hard life for my parents, but for a six to seven year old every new day dawned with fresh excitement when you have not a care in the world, and so much to learn and witness.

If It Is Written
if it is written
then what shall i do?
shall i wait
till the words come true?
shall i stand
and just watch how these written things
come into themselves
like a growing lily on the pond?
things come to you
the floors make themselves under your feet
it is written
so why worry? live life
and life meets you
whatever is it
you just wait
and that is the excitement
the windows simply construct themselves
and the door opens
like hands that meet and shake you
they all say
welcome, everything is ready
and they had all been waiting
for you

The Front Line
The unknown causes fear for most,
but I look at it as,
a friend waiting for me.
It could be good,
could be bad,
but all I know is,
I'm ready for it.
I'm ready to run if I must,
I'm ready to draw my sword,
I'm ready to fight till
my final breath,
a true fight till
the death.
Get in line,
all armor on and firm,
for tonight blood will be poured out
upon all people,
those with swords,
and those with shields,
all will feel such pain.
Are you ready,
to draw your sword
then step out onto
the front line?
Are you ready,
to say good-bye,
to those you loved?
Life isn't easy,
so think fast and come quick,
run now and you won't
need to worry,
about the blood others will shed.
Run and be quick,
hurry and escape.
before they take my life,
all because
I tried to save yours.

What Went Wrong?
living life! it's as hard as can be
don't know whats come over me.
trying desperatly to expand my mind
seem to be running out of time.
you showed me what paradise can be
then you set my heart free
to wander endlessly.
so i roamed this world in search of true love
as the love from above.
can we figure out what went wrong
when our love was growing strong.
what made it get so weak
when i thought, it was at its peak.
i looked in your eyes and saw
the love that you had inside
and the excitement when you saw my face
bubbling up in a frenzied pace.
now all i see is a silent stare
and it looks as if you no longer care.
what went wrong? i have to ask!
was it that i was too busy trying to make a life.
and forgot to show my feelings to my wife.
and if that is the case!
everything else i will push away
just so that you will stay.
'so please' help me to find the way.

The Gurusikh
THE GURUSIKH-
BELIEVES IN THE ONENESS OF GOD.
IS VOID OF FEAR.
IS ABOVE ENIMITY.
IS ALWAYS OPTIMISTIC.
RESIGNS HIMSELF TO THE WILL OF GOD.
UPHOLDS SPIRITUALISM.
RISES ABOVE CASTE AND CREED,
IS INVARIABLY HIGH-SPIRITED.
EARNS HIS LIVING HONESTLY.
HAS PASSIONATE DETACHMENT.
IS PROGRESSIVE.
EMBRACES DEATH GRACEFULLY.
IS COMMITTED TO WHAT HE SAYS
SHIES AWAY FROM DISCRIMINATION.
IS KNOWN FOR HOSPITALITY.
CONFORMS TO DASWAND PRATHA.
STANDS FOR 'MIRI' AND'PIRI'.
PRAYS FOR THE WELL-BEING OF ALL
IS SAINTLY.
'SERVICE IS HIS WHOLE WAY OF LIFE'.

Are You Ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Are you ready to meet jesus?
Are you where you ought to be?
Will he know you when he sees you
Or will he say, depart from me?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready, am I ready?
Am I ready to lay down my life for the brethren
And to take up my cross?
Have I surrendered to the will of god
Or am I still acting like the boss?
Am I ready, hope Im ready.
When destruction cometh swiftly
And theres no time to say a fare-thee-well,
Have you decided whether you want to be
In heaven or in hell?
Are you ready, are you ready?
Have you got some unfinished business?
Is there something holding you back?
Are you thinking for yourself
Or are you following the pack?
Are you ready, hope youre ready.
Are you ready?
Are you ready for the judgment?
Are you ready for that terrible swift sword?
Are you ready for armageddon?
Are you ready for the day of the lord?
Are you ready, I hope youre ready.

If we would lead outside our borders, if we would help those who need our assistance, if we would meet our responsibilities to mankind, we must first, all of us, demolish the borders which history has erected between men within our own nations — barriers of race and religion, social class and ignorance. Our answer is the world's hope; it is to rely on youth. The cruelties and the obstacles of this swiftly changing planet will not yield to obsolete dogmas and outworn slogans. It cannot be moved by those who cling to a present which is already dying, who prefer the illusion of security to the excitement and danger which comes with even the most peaceful progress. This world demands the qualities of youth: not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease.

I'm Ready
All our days are numbered
Some live on borrowed time
But life is what you make it
Thank God I was so inclined
To accept my Lord and Savior
When the good news sunk in
He paid a heavenly price
By giving His life
And I can't wait to go home to Him
I'm ready to go that distance
And God only knows when that might be
But oh, what joy waits up yonder
Once this old world sets me free
When there's no tomorrow
And glory has come down
Those without Jesus
Are lost and never to be found
So please listen when I'm talking
I'm just saying what needs to be said
Make plans while your still living
It's too late when your dead
I'm ready to go that distance
And God only knows when that might be
But oh, what joy waits up yonder
Once this old world sets me free
Oh, once this old world sets me free

It's a 'Must' to Witness
Only those who are wishing to get away,
Are those who have never experienced life...
Away from themselves.
That's all that's about.
A routine they can easily change.
But there is a need to get away,
To do it!
To other environments,
They have not themselves created.
And in their minds there is an observation,
Of similarities.
Only to discover 'who' they are.
To return from where they started.
But this time...
Some of life has been explored.
And be prepared...
Yes. You!
Be prepared.
They are going to bore you with their 'findings'.
As if a child with a new toy,
'You' have not seen before.
And it's a 'must' to witness.
Since their excitement,
Will generate within them a happiness.
And be prepared...
Yes. You!
Be prepared.
Even though they wanted to get away?
You are going to see them more,
Than you've ever seen them in your life!
That's what 'getting away' does.
That's what getting away from 'oneself' does!
Like the getting over of oneself that has been in the way.
