Today We Are Living
The candles have been lighted
The song has been sung
The funeral that we are attending
Is not the last to come
Although he is gone
Let’s not put a fret
But live for today
Don’t worry about debt

A Song Thats Sung..
A song that's sung
tells more than a story
a song that's sung
is sung from the heart
a song that's sung
is a story from the soul
a song that's sung
is the greatest love
a song that's sung
is a give from above
a song that's sung
is an emotion in a melody
a song that's sung
can be whatever you want it to be
a song that's sung
can have a million meanings
a song that's sung
is a diary of emotions...

Candles
The days of the future stand in front of us
Like a line of candles all alight----
Golden and warm and lively little candles.
The days that are past are left behind,
A mournful row of candles that are out;
The nearer ones are still smoking,
Candles cold, and melted, candles bent.,
I don’t want to see them; their shapes hurt me,
It hurts me to remember the light of them at first.
I look before me at my lighted candles,
I don’t want to turn around and see with horror
How quickly the dark line is lengthening,
How quickly the candles multiply that have been put out.

It's Just A Song (Lyric) :
You hear the sound of the song.
It's coming on real strong.
It gives you a sense of strength.
it filters through the air.
It lifts you off the ground.
We hear from town to town.
It's just a song-sung-long.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
it's just a song.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
It takes you out in space.
Closer to second base.
It follows through so cool.
The smoothest thing for you.
A sound that sounds so clear.
A sound you'll want to hear.
It's just a song-sung-long.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
It's just a song.
It's just a-song-sung-long.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
It sends you through the air.
A sound that makes you high.
It makes you feel so good.
A sound that always should.
Just lifts you off the ground.
We hear from town to town.
It's just a-song-sung-long.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
It's just a song.
It's just a-song-sung-long.
A sing-a-long-song-sung.
It's just a song.
it's just a song..

Peccavi Mea Maxima Culpa For friend JT Ellison
The song I came to sing today. Will not
be sung today or any day
by me. The words I have forgot.
Temptations led my mind to stray
too far from my appointed task.
I cannot sing for you today
nor can answer what you ask
I am ashamed and look away
because I know I’m in the wrong.
I have failed, failed utterly
and you may never hear the song
I beg forgiveness abjectly.
Some other singer may one day
sing what I should have sung today.

Don’t Worry For Tomorrow
Day by day, must be my focus, this as I obey The Lord Jesus,
Living simply, one day at a time, obeying Truth, that is sublime,
Through the grace given by God, while I live on the earthly sod,
Knowing I’m sustained by Christ, as I live out this temporal life.
A command sometimes ignored, but, a deep Truth of our Lord,
Today has concerns of its own, as all tomorrow’s are unknown,
And concern about what’s not yet, just turns into worry and fret,
But our life we won’t fret away, when we obey Christ day to day.
If we only give God every day, Christ will help us along the way,
And not with tomorrow’s concern, as our Lord wants us to learn,
To trust every single day to God, as He leads with staff and rod,
For God knows all that we need, so just follow the Savior’s lead.
We must live one day at a time; this isn’t ours, but God’s design,
Not only is this more than sound, but, keeps us on solid ground,
And as we lean upon our Lord, an abiding peace God will afford,
All understanding this transcends, while His presence never ends.
So as His presence fills our life, we’re comforted by Jesus Christ,
Through today and into tomorrow, always there in joy and sorrow,
So today as we hear God’s voice, we really have only one choice,
Not simply just hear, but to obey, to live not tomorrow, but today.

My Song
I have no song
But still I sing
I let my voice
Fly on wing
For even though
My heart is bare
I have a song
Yet to spare
The song I sing
It has not one word
But far and wide
It's ever heard
My song is
Universal see
Song of wild
Always free
Sung by many
Sung by one
Sung beneath
A dying sun
Song of joy
Yet song of pain
Song of long nights
In the rain
Song of battles
Song of strife
Song of death
But also life
I'll sing untill
I have no breath
And then I'll sing
My song in death

Song sung blue
Everybody knows one
Song sung blue
Every garden grows one
Me and you are subject to the blues now and then
But when you take the blues and make a song
You sing them out again
Sing them out again
Song sung blue
Weeping like a willow
Song sung blue
Sleeping on my pillow
Funny thing, but you can sing it with a cry in your voice
And before you know it, start to feeling good
You simply got no choice
Song sung blue
Everybody knows one
Song sung blue
Every garden grows one

Last Card
Today
I died
A thousand deaths
Today
The world
Stops spinning
Today
My heart bleeds
In crucial pain
Today
I lost
My last card
Today
I cried
My last tears
Today
I heard
My last voice
Today
I sang
My last song
Today
My last hope
Ceased to dwell
Today
I mourned
My own funeral

A Tribute To Hope
when hope dies
a cheap funeral is due
the coffin is made of
old mahogany
the flowers are
improvised colored
Japanese paper
cut by ordinary women
of the town
the candles are
recycled
the room is dimly
lighted
with a coconut oil lamp
the mourners
are the very same people
that killed it.

Till The Last Song Is Sung
TILL THE LAST SONG IS SUNG
You’re welcome to stay
Please don’t go away
We’re open till
The last song is sung
There’s dancing on the floor
We won’t close the door
You can leave tips at the bar
The walk isn’t far
After the last song
Is sung
We’re just up the street
A place where you can plant your feet
Where the drinks are so good
You can’t remember where you stood
You can leave if you like
Be careful on the pike
Remember you came here for fun
Till the last song is sung

Live your day...
Today, forget your past;
Today, don't worry about tomorrow.
Today, the life is vast;
Today, forget the joy and sorrow.
Today, don't belong to any caste;
Today, fill in your prevailing hollow.
Today, live in minute;
Today, work in the moment.
Today, the hero stands high;
Today, there's no time for a sigh.
Today, persevere in today;
Today, is the moment.

No One Heard
A song was sung that no one heard.
The song was sung all through the town.
It played for days - from dust until dawn.
It greeted on the morning and midnight yawn.
A song was sung that no one heard.
The melody was sweet and words were strong.
The instruments were the piano and the gong.
No one heard, no they did not,
For to hear, you needed the purest heart.
The song was played in the land on man;
A song was sung that no one heard.

Our song
See..that used to be our song
And those were our dreams
Before we threw it all away
Ignoring what the song had to say
See..those used to be us
And how we were so young
Before we knew all we know today
Promising and swearing on better days
Now that used to be our song
Sung by silent voices
Resulting on mistakes made by our choices
That was our song
So please don´t turn the radio on
Cause that was our song
And I might as well..try to sing along...

Life And Song.
'If life were caught by a clarionet,
And a wild heart, throbbing in the reed,
Should thrill its joy and trill its fret,
And utter its heart in every deed,
'Then would this breathing clarionet
Type what the poet fain would be;
For none o' the singers ever yet
Has wholly lived his minstrelsy,
'Or clearly sung his true, true thought,
Or utterly bodied forth his life,
Or out of life and song has wrought
The perfect one of man and wife;
'Or lived and sung, that Life and Song
Might each express the other's all,
Careless if life or art were long
Since both were one, to stand or fall:
'So that the wonder struck the crowd,
Who shouted it about the land:
`His song was only living aloud,
His work, a singing with his hand!''

A Song For My Funeral
A Song For My Funeral
when they buried him
a young boy
in a cardboard box
somewhere in the green mountain
there was a song nobody knew
there was a song
unknown and unsung
I know the song
it has been silent for many years
buried in an unmarked grave
a dead boy does not age
I shall be writing the song
for my funeral to come
it will be there
for you to sing
wherever you are

The Greatest Song I Ever Heard
Now the greenest green Ive ever seen
Was the grass on which you laid
And the bluest blue was in my eyes
When you said you couldnt stay
And the biggest lost I ever took
Was losing what weve begun
And the greatest song I ever heard
Was the one we never sung
Now the reddest red Ive always said
Is the sunset coming down
Soon the blackest night that kills the light
Is the only thing around
And the downest down I ever been
Is when I knew my race was run
And the greatest song I ever heard
Was the one we never sung
Time will kill the pain they say
And well live to love another day
If you wanna win you got to play the game
Now the greatest break came on the day
We were standing in the rain
And the hardest hurt Ive ever know
Was when you tried to ease my pain
And the longest day in history
Waiting till my cryings done
And the saddest song I ever heard
Was the one we finally sung

Forgiveness Is Not the Key
I look down at the people, I worry about their woes
I worry about their joys, their friends, their foes
I worry about their lives and the way they live it
I worry about their dreams and wonder if they’ll heed it
I worry about the tears I see running down their face
I worry about their lies they tell in this time and place
I worry about their truths that always hurt more
I worry about what they will definitely have in store
I look down at the people who never showed compassion
Who hate each other with the strongest passion
Who pushed me aside as though I were nothing
I wonder, do they care about anything?
I realise they treat each other as dirt
And they revel within all the hurt
Not one ever worried for me
I’m so glad that I can finally see
I refuse to worry or care about them and their petty ways
I will never again worry for their days
Because not one ever cared for me
Forgiveness is not the key
Not when I live life so lonely
I want to be loved only
For them I’ll never again feel woe
Because I’ll be nothing but their foe

Right now, a majority of the debt is owed to foreign interests, Japan being the largest purchaser of government debt today, soon to be surpassed by China as the number one purchaser of our debt in this Nation.
