Thought tree
as far the floors
they are now wet so
you don't teleport through
doors sneaking towards
perfection the pictures on
the windows will always
show clouds as i am
hiding beneath gates
always in glass clothes
and there
you
are
to
lit
ever
y mind

Happiness
The great stone Hall is silent
that is now millennia old.
Through the western windows
shines a glorious sun.
It floods the walls and floors,
the tables, chairs and doors,
panelling, pictures, artefacts
and illumines every one
until the wraiths that gather
cry out in their joy,
'Everything is gold!
Whatever is, is gold! '
A majestic cloud
emerges from the southern sea,
slides across the western sky
blotting out the sun.
Light through those western windows
pales to a thin grey day.
It dims the walls and floors,
the tables, chairs and doors,
panelling, pictures, artefacts
pales every one
until the wraiths in the shadows
cry out in dismay,
'Gone is gold, the gold is gone!
All joy has passed away! '

At Night With The Rain
i have closed the doors
and the windows
and let go the curtains
touching the floors
i close my eyes and listen
to the rain
i dream of stars
i miss the moon
the walls close on in me
beyond the glass windows
to the sea
i hear the sad calls of the
night
outside the trees are blown
the black cat stares at me
and then some tears
begin to fall

Strawberry prison
dead
the sky lies
on the bottom of the glass
i leave
my clouds
there in the strawberry smell
stars
are shining
without hope of a better recipient

A Need For A New House....Or Home...
early morning
when the doors are still closed and the windows still tipsy
like the whole house
you fly away
the sun comes out with the clouds
early morning you fly away
away from it all
the clouds are floors and grasses
and you are a lonely bird among a flock of chairs
early morning you fly away
thinking about nothing
you fly away and you feel like a leaf inside
that gentle beast
it is a ride-awA Need For A New House....Or Home...ay
among the paradoxes of life
and its ironies
early morning there is this flight that takes you to a stop-over
of your life
no one knows that you are grieving
over a search for what you feel
the one you had which you lost
intentionally
among the flock of chairs landing early morning
on unstable floors
early morning you take a cab
you choose still
which house

Where Are They Hiding?
Where are they hiding?
The straying cat, the sneaking rat
Where are they hiding?
Under the shadow, inside the hollow
Where are they hiding?
The true face, the real case
Where are they hiding?
Behind the mask, on multiple cracks

June to July
For Junealice Pardo-Vela passed July 4th 2010**
Without the turning of a month I remained a beautiful flower
My vase of narrow glass of narrow food and narrow light
This-too-shall-passing under a sun with slight movement
Slight lines slight light through an open shudder fell
Across a counter until I was only bright in places
And in others cast in shadow where my blossom’s edge began to fall away
But by the light of your window I held myself as straight as tall hiding petals as they fell within the glass
I was bright and smiled and you passed me
While I only hoped you were not afraid
But days do pass and inevitable seeds that flower in inevitable spring are picked and taken away to sit in windows in June
Even before July they start to set like the sun and by July the heat pushes down on them so hard that all they wilt can no longer be hidden
And it is then that you do see me
As sure as you see where I once was
For it is July and I have come to fall away
In the light of your window you see the space where I should be
Keep finding each little petal that I had hid in the glass
I was bright and I smiled as you passed me
In July I am brighter and I smile as I pass away
June has come and she has gone
Within the turning of a month I remain a flower
A beautiful flower without vase or narrow glass or food or narrow light or shuddering or pain or falling down to hide
I pass with the sun
Bright light now shining through a larger window
And I only hope that you are not afraid

Let's Voyage Into The New American House
There are doors
that want to be free
from their hinges to
fly with perfect clouds.
There are windows
that want to be
released from their
frames to run with
the deer through
back country meadows.
There are walls
that want to prowl
with the mountains
through the early
morning dusk.
There are floors
that want to digest
their furniture into
flowers and trees.
There are roofs
that want to travel
gracefully with
the stars through
circles of darkness.

In Hiding
Pick me up, put me down
Push me in, turn me round
Switch me on, let me go
- I have a mind of my own
In hiding
Far from the city of night
And the factories of truth
I stand upon the mountain
A million miles from my home
And the faces of fear
I have freedom to think
In hiding
I may take off my clothes
That I wear on my face
I float upon a river
A million miles from the plains
That are piercing the clouds
I am lost in the beauty
In hiding
Pick me up, put me down
Push me in, turn me round
Switch me on, let me go
- I have a mind of my own
I wish you were here
In hiding
I lie silent at last
Im free from my past
I walk among the tall trees
This is beauty I know
Im in love with it all
I have freedom to love
In hiding
Pick me up, put me down
Push me in, turn me round
Switch me on, let me go
- I have a mind of my own
Pick me up, put me down
Push me in, turn me round
Switch me on, let me go
- I have a mind of my own

The Most Beautiful Box (Response Number Two)
you can build
the most beautiful box
the world has ever seen.
you can line the walls
with fine jewels,
and carpet the floors.
you can adorn it
with beautiful pictures,
and have windows that face
the morning sun.
you can have doors
that open both ways.
still...
this box cannot hold
the sky, the wind, or the rain!
so it is with political systems.
no system can define freedom.
no system can define justice.
no system can define equality.
only the human heart,
grounded in love,
can do this!

Closed Doors Of The Mind
No one knows what goes on behind
the closed doors of the mind.
Thoughts that sometimes inspire
the deeds that transpires.
Many have tried to find the key
to unlock the secrets that are enclosed within,
buried deep behind
the closed doors of the mind.
The lust and deprivation
that sometimes conspire
to be set free
or the eternal love of life
that can rise to the fore.
Both are hidden in the crevasses
behind the closed doors of our mind.

The Tale Of Dusty & Pistol Pete
Dusty screams, through doors and imaginary floors
why cant you miss me?
Pistol pete removes the final breaths from her unkind and she is shaken
What does this mean in love or in peace?
With you lying next to me
So faithless serene
And she calls to him
Let the waste cross the ancient trails to you
Far out beneath the sorrow clouds
Let them taste the bitter lost mistake of you
Let them cry out through your rusted scars
Alone he roams inside the ordinary catacombs of her waiting
With raven hands she steals and staggers towards her man
Still scorned by his demon
Because hes undone
Become the language of
Disaster and love, vengeance and dust
And she calls to him
Let the waste cross the ancient trails to you
Far out beneath the sorrow clouds
Let them taste the bitter lost mistake of you
Let them cry out through your rusted scars
Dusty screams, through doors and imaginary scenes
Of hurt and teardrop
As he holds her down, in the cold lonely winds
Together again, her inside him
And she calls to him
Let the waste cross the ancient trails to you
Far out beneath the sorrow clouds
Let them taste the bitter lost mistake of you
Let them cry out through your rusted scars

We Are Glass
We are young we can break
Watch us fall
We can take some train
Down to the sea
We are glass, we are glass
We are real you can touch
Just for now
And then say
hey you, which way is down
We are glass, we are glass
We are strong we run though
We have time
And to you Im just
One of those boys
We are glass, we are glass
We are cold
Were not supposed to cry
But its all just a thought
So here am i
We are glass, we are glass
They run fast
Impressions of the floors inviting
Stay with me, stay with me
They run past
With telephones they scream
Well would you turn all this down
Turn all this down
You are replaced you are you
And our dreams are real
And dreams are all we need
We are glass, we are glass
We slip down
And old eyes dont cry for me
Cause I doubt Im and I doubt you
And never never going to doubt
We are glass, we are glass
They run fast
Impressions of the floors inviting
Stay with me, stay with me
They run past
With telephones they scream
Well would you turn all this down
Turn all this down

Soaked Streets
Pictures etched to catch,
A depthness then hung...
Shows mist and drizzle drawn.
A forecast of gray clouds,
Displayed above floors of parquet.
And parlayed behind closed doors...
Appears to come to those in conference.
Bearing surreal rainstorms to drench,
Until done!
Although some had eyes sparkling of brightness,
Captured.
Others carried tears,
When they looked away.
Knowing this exhibit conveyed,
Too many reminders.
Too many had known...
They had already walked,
Soaked streets wet with sorrows...
Few knew.
But realism comes.

Some People
Some people have everything,
but really have nothing at all.
They have all the riches
one can really possess.
Some people have nothing;
just the clothes on their back,
but in reality have more
than all the material riches in the world.
They have happiness, contentment
and peace of mind.
Something the rich
try hard to find.

A Path To Follow
When your spirits at its lowest
and there seems no one to turn to
Just go to our Lord to see you through.
He will lift your spirits
and help you through
those troubled times that bother you.
He will relieve the sadness
that clouds your mind with uncertainty.
Show you the light you have waited for,
give you a path to follow that will lead you
from the darkness that seems to plague your life.
Open your heart to him
and he will show you a better life to be found.
Just go to our Lord and he will see you
through the darkness that clouds your mind.

Seven Doors Hotel
Fourhundred years back in this time
Seven doors hotel
A massacre took place and a young man
Died opened one gate to hell
The eibon is open use your eyes
To read and learn
In the end it could be your turn
1981 traces were found
That could not exist in ones mind
A woman could lead you
Totally deceive you without your knowing shes blind
Seven doors hotel
One of seven gates to hell
Seven doors hote
L one of seven gates to hell
Do always watch out for things
That you see but dont understand
The devil is there always somewhere
Ready to command

My Door Is A Lamp
One day You ask: What are you up to?
- I work for lattices
And concoct doors for lamps.
The door to heaven will be split,
My doors shall turn into gates
Encircling my heaven of Old.
Radiation picks up from Hell,
Heaven closes its gates,
And my doors open and shut
To let Me only enter
My heaven and Paradise.

We Build
we build new windows
framed with strong wood and carved
with flowers and birds
we build new doors
we let the vines grown their tendrils again
we watch and we keep on building some more
new floors and ceilings that know how to sing
chairs that are learning how to embrace our hips
we begin to see new clouds
we busy ourselves to make life click and tick and pick up
from where we think we ought to have died
we refuse this call for dissolution
there are meanings coming up
for new beginnings
we build a new house simply because we are uncertain
beyond these broken pillars.

Storm Clouds
Shapes of clouds in the sky
Are seen as pictures by the human eye.
But when the wind does gently blow
Those shapes into other pictures go.
Storm clouds do not pictures make,
But blacken the skies and makes us wake
To listen for thunder and see lightening too,
And hope that without more ado,
The storm will break, the sun appear,
The black clouds will disappear,
And once again the sky’ll go blue
To bring more pictures for me and you.

Without Rings
Someones hiding out
Who cant forget about
The things that people do when theyre free.
Like visitors from space
Its hard to find a place
To blend in and go unrecognized.
Im waiting for a sign
Im standing on the road
With my mind outstretched to you.
Im picking something up
Im letting something go
Like a dog Im fetching this to you.
Pictures in my mind
Row of poppy fields
Harmony entwined
A changing gear that grinds
Pictures in my mind.
Pictures in my brain
Electrical energy
Fighting drugs with pain
Theres a war inside
Pictures in my brain.
Im looking for a job
I dont know what Im doing
My softwares not compatible with you.
But this I cant deny
I know that you can fly
Cause Im here on the ground without you.
Angel without wings
Owner without things
Sharpshooter without rings ...around you.
The road we used to ride
Together side by side
Has flowers pushing through the dotted line.
