The Sun Disgraced By Hiren Bhattacharya (Translated From Assamese)
The Sun goes down, spending Sunshine,
The inevitable sword of the Kalpurush
Glow in the darkness of
The fear stricken night sky...
I am a poet, limited is my skill
The treacherous brass whistle
Of the spectre haunted sentry at
The street junction,
Upset my poetry's meaning...
Spending sunshine,
There goes down
The Golden Sun...

Sunshine vs. Darkness
The sunshine keeps the darkness away. The darkness takes over but soon the sunshine takes over again when its raining sunshine still comes through. We always want sunshine to light our way. But others want the darkness to stay around. When darkness falls many people come alive, others sleep and wait for the sunshine to come again. We all want different things for sunshine or for darkness. Some love the sunshine others love darkness. I see all the saddness when its sunshine. But yet the darkness I see all happiness. Sunshine brings saddness and the darkness brings happiness and excitement!

My Sunshine!
Sunshine, come out.
Sunshine, don't hide.
Sunshine, never pout.
Sunshine, be my guide.
Sunshine, love me sweet.
Sunshine, my heart is yours.
Sunshine, give me your heat.
Sunshine, open my doors.
Sunshine, take my hand.
Sunshine, don't leave me.
Sunshine, dry my sand.
My Sunshine, you'll always be.

You're My Sunshine
Sunshine, you're my sunshine
and without you nothing's right.
You warm me like the sunshine
when I see you in my sight.
There's a special glow in my heart
when I think of you.
If you're gone for even one day
I don't know what to do.
Oh I try you know
but whenever you go
the sunshine's just not there.
Oh it's in the sky
and I don't know why
I can't feel it anywhere.
Sunshine, you're my sunshine
and without you I am cold.
You warm me like the sunshine
and shine for me like gold.
Sunshine, you're my sunshine
and without you nothing's right.
So please don't ever leave me.
I need you in my sight.

Sunshine
Sunshine, you may find my window
But you wont find me
And sunshine, Ive got my friend of darkness here
Tonight to hide me.
So sunshine, as far as Im concerned
Im where I want to be
And sunshine, as far as youre concerned
Dont be concerned for me.
'Cause she doesnt love me anymore
She doesnt want me, Lord
She doesnt need me anymore
She grew tired of chasing rainbows
But I loved her true
And God you know I tried.
And I guess she was right
'Cause Im at the end
I found the part but theres no golden sun.
So sunshine, cant you see Im not alone
Dont bother me
And sunshine, pick up your dawn
And move on down the street...

Sunshine(a song)
Shining so bright up in the sky
The brightest thing in the world
Other than you
Sunshine...
ooh oow oh
Sunshine...oh oh oh
You are the sunshine in my eyes
the light in my soul
Sunshine...
ooh oow oh
(chorus)
Moonlit nights
Sunshining days
Sunshine...Sunshine
oh oow oh
Sunshine...
Yea, yea, yea
Sunshine that never dies out
The way you look into my eyes
Burns just like the sunshine
Sunshine...oh oh oh oow
(chorus)
Baby...
The light in your eyes
Makes my heart melt
Like ice in the sun
Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine
oh oh oh

There's Sunshine
There's Sunshine in the sea
It's looking at me
There's Sunshine in the car
As we travell far
The Sunshine looks at me
There's Sunshine in the garden
And it's like it say's pardon
There's Sunshine in the house
Its a quiet as a mouse
The Sunshine looks at me
The Sunshine everywhere
Even in your hair
And it's all thanks to God
Without snapping a rod
The Sunshine loves me

Morning Sunshine
This poet is so seductive
This poet is now strange to me
This poet is so bold
This little girl doesn't want to see
The little girl has known this poet
ever since
But the little girl is already
tired of this poet
She just wants to play.
Not any passing minute
She hasn't have
any word of
allegory
metonymy and
simile
Take me away from this poet yet
the little girl must empty first
the words of this poet
Before she is free to play
in the morning sunshine
and go away from this busy poet
Do you think I'm too young to see?
Do you agree?
This poet won't let me
play out in the middle of the rain
This poet won't let me
see the afternoon sway
This poet won't let me
see the morning gay
Let me see the Morning Sunshine
Let me see!
But this poet
Won't let me
I'll just watch t.v
and sing
her poetry

Where Is My Sunshine?
Darkness and pain surrounds me no sunlight to guide me
Where is my sunshine?
I see others smiling and having fun but all I can do is watch
Where is my sunshine?
Depressed and unhappy I put a fake smile on my face for my friends
Where is my sunshine?
I wonder why the grey cloud follows me aroun and why I cry myself to sleep every night I yell for help oping and praying someone will pull me out of the darkness and from under the grey cloud but no one comes
So I ask Where Is My Sunshine! ? ! ?

Poet and Chivalry
Poet, an industry not of mankind
An era that poet’s in awe to partake a rite
Poetry belongs to the ancient tribe
An era that poet’s dissolute and roaming
Poetry ascribes to nature and wildness
An era that poet a jester praised in comic to entertain the king
Poetry is the plaything of an empire
The era that poet yields to the media, pursuing fame and fortune
Poetry is a consuming product
Poet holds in awe since the heaven and earth are vast
Poet’s degenerated because of his nature
Poet’s comical because ironical the self derision
Poet capitulates because of human’s weakness
Although poet hasn’t always been an industry of mankind
Its luster would shine upon the darkness that poet ever survived
Lighting a light in darkness of history and showing its courage
Lighting a light in darkness of future and proving its foresight
Compromised the life
But allows not to compromise of poetry
The spirit and vitality of a chivalry is the case
Poet, still not an industry of mankind
Today
The chivalry has sealed his sword and pen
The page of poetry gradually stained and spotted yellow
The sharp sword conceals a smoked silver flash

The American people elected us here to cut spending so we can create an environment for jobs in America. The House has acted. We have demonstrated that we want to see spending, discretionary spending, brought down to levels of 2008. We've seen no counteraction. We have seen no position that has been expressed by the other side at all.

You've got to either say you're going to cut taxes and find some spending cuts. I think we ought to reform long-term entitlement spending in the country, but you can't out of one side of your mouth say, 'Yes, we're for tax cuts, we're for spending discipline, and we're for bringing down the debt.'

Spending Money
By: jimmy buffett and mac mcanally
(whistling)
Now Im not talking bout excessive greed
The kind that puzzled the scribes and pharisees
I dont worship it like a golden calf
But change in my pocket is always good for a laugh
Seen it brighten up the eyes of a child
It even makes the dalai lama smile
Its no relation to the meaning of life
Its a dang fool husband doesnt spring for his wife
A little spending money
Money to burn
Money that you did not necessarily earn
Rainy days seem to wind up sunny
Long as you got a little spending money
I got no financial conscience
Cant worry where it went
A lasting treasure a moment of pleasure
Worth in every cent
Coin or paper, silver or gold
All denominations nouveaux or old
Cant have a turkey without oyster dressing
Its the root of all evil the sum of your blessings
Dont need no armored car or time-locked vault
Dont need a shaker full, just a few grains of salt
You may get by looking good and being funny
But lifes a little less restrained with a little
Spending money
Money to burn
Money that you did not necessarily earn
Rainy days seem to wind up sunny
Long as you got a little spending money
Long as you got a little spending money
Oh give me some spending money

Sunshine Sunshine
Sounds of laughter here comes sunshine
Smiling faces all around
They possess you bless you sunshine
Now you can never let them down
I say sunshine
Sunshine, sunshine
Is that a cloud across your smile or did you dream again last night
Its best you rest inside a while as blue doesnt seem to suit you right
Things aint what they used to be pain and rain and misery
Illness in the family and sunshine means a lot to me
I say sunshine
But could it be sunshine is drifting with midnight
And lonely when everyones gone
Blue crystal spirits and gardens in moonlight
Leave weak alone and bleak all quiet and grey by dawn
Sunshine sunshine
Rising to late to chase the cold and failing to change the frost to dew
Shes trading her mood of yellow gold for frost bitten shades of silver
Blue
Friends and lovers past and gone and no-one waiting further on
Im running short of things to be and sunshine means quiet a lot to me
I say sunshine... sunshine

Here Come Sunshine
Wake of the flood, laughing water, forty-nine,
Get out the pans, don't just stand there dreamin'
Get out of the way, get out of the way,
Here comes sunshine, here comes sunshine.
Line up a long shot maybe try it two times, maybe more,
Good to know you got shoes to wear when you find the floor,
Why hold out for more?
Here comes sunshine, here comes sunshine.
Askin' you nice, now, keep the mother rollin'
One more time, been down before,
You just don't have to go no more, no more.
Here comes sunshine, here comes sunshine

Sunshine
For many years I felt like a man
Feeling his way through darkness
This priceless treasure
For which Ive searched
Appeared to me nothing more
Than a mirage in the sea
But when the vision faded
From this struggle and dream
Suddenly my illusion is diarry
Ive now discovered whats reality
Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine
Ive found you
Even if youre only
Even if youre only
Even if youre only
Destined for a while
Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine
Ive found you
Even if youre only
Destined for a while
Ill be both most impressions
And I arrive this with a smile
As the picture book shows stanley
Standing at the source of the nile

Wake Up Sunshine
Wake up sunshine
Open up your sleepy eyes for me
Cant have you hidin
Ive been waiting all the night
People waiting for the light
Sunshine, sunshine
Wake up sunshine
Let me feel your warm sunlight on me
Cant have you hidin
Night was long and night was cold
But today were one day older
Sunshine, you make my life sunshine
You know Im talkin to you
I know youre knowin it too
So just stop hidin your face
Just open your eyes
Just smile your smile
Im talkin to you
Wake up sunshine
Ooh its good to have you here with me
Cant have you hidin
Cant imagine what Id do
But feel too lonely without you
Sunshine, sunshine
You got to wake up girl
And face the day ahead
