The Child No One Knew
A beautiful baby girl
Beautiful locks of golden curls
Becomes a statistic
Of childhood sexual abuse.
Life-so confusing,
Peace, love, joy,
Hate, hurt, pain - a victim
Of childhood sexual abuse.
God, Christianity, Sunday School,
Peace, love, contentment,
Teaching, learning, playing,
Acceptance, Music, God.
The wheat fields flow,
The corn fields tassel
The hay bales to be harvested
The barn full to bursting.
The cellar holds an enemy,
Little children are hurt there,
Down those steps toward torment,
Over and over again.
Grandma held the answer
But she never told a soul
Family could do no wrong
But she cried and when the child cried
She consoled.

Children Of The Heart
Have you ever left?
Your childhood alone
Have you ever let?
Your childhood dreams go
I've never really known
The joys a child should know
I've never really seen
What it's like to just being a child
But in each of us there lies
A child breaking to be free
To learn life's mysteries
In child like dream
To run with friends and family
Free just like a breeze
To play in the fields
Of a childhood memory's
What is it really like?
To be a warrior of old
What is it really like?
To be innocent in ones life
What is it really like?
To be a hero in a child's dream
I sigh and often dream
What it would be like to be free
Free of all your burdens
In a child's innocent world
Of dreams
Can you explain to me?
What the mystery a child hold's
Why do we crave
Our childhood of old
I smile and think often
Deep inside my soul
There will always be a child
Bursting forth to be free
Just wanting to let go
There will always be a child
Wanting all their dreams
To fly into a world of fantasy's
And just being free
Smiling softly to myself
I close my eyes and dream
Of when I was a little girl
Reliving all my dreams

My Childhood Was Robbed
A man whom I trusted,
A man whom I loved,
A man whom I cared for,
as a father, I thought he did a good job.
But then my childhood was robbed.
He turned violent.
He turned cruel.
His kindness certainly took a fall.
I was innocent.
I was free.
But he took all this away from me.
Why did he do it? I don't understand.
He certainly had the upper hand.
My mind is mixed up,
my feelings are sore.
Will the pain ever go away,
or will there be more?
He hurt me so bad, it's hard to explain.
He physically hurt me, which caused me much grief.
My childhood was robbed
Where's the relief?
He would raise his hand and clench his teeth,
in my family, there was no peace.
He ruled the family with an iron fist,
the result - my childhood was missed.
Now. Later in life, after all the pain.
I have to re-live it again and again.
He must pay for all he did,
because you see, I was never a kid.
So now, into court I have lobbed,
to tell the world....
Why my childhood was robbed.

I would like to say that what Mel Phillips was doing was not sexual harassment but more sexual abuse of children, because he was doing it in a sexual manner now that I look back on it.
She had loved
She had loved,
Loved with the passion of a thousand loves
All of her hurt and pain went into this love
A love that no one had ever known
The ache and hurt from all the others went into the act of loving
The abuse of all the others went into her passion
The pain of rejection from family and friends went into the love making
She could never feel the hurt again so she put it into the passion and heat they two had when they where together
And when she was alone she would cry for the pain
Pain for the fear that she might never love
Cry for all the abuse that was put onto her body
Some in part to find love
Some in part to feel something instead of being loved
She used her body as a vessel to get what she wanted
And never showed love when doing it
She gave herself to forget herself and all the pain and fear and anguish
She gave and gave and showed no emotion in doing so
She knew that no one would really know her
Or really loved her
They were all just lovers without the love and all of the passion
She used what she knew
And passion is what she knew best
She had passion in the way she walked and talked and all the things that she did
She never showed her true colors
Until she found that love
And poured it all into the love making that she gave and cried for a different reason
She now cried for the loved that she had found and wanted
She gave all of her and more then needed to give to one person
That love that she had never had and wanted so desperately she gave to this person and that person never really understood her
She thought that this would never end and never wanted it to
But when the love in the love making faded it was just empty
And from then on all of her became empty
She did not know how to show true love and slowly lost her passion
All of her passion for all of the things that made her lovable
So now she was never to find that love again
Now she was passionless and empty
Empty was she would remain to be
Hallow once again just a vessel for others to abuse
and confuse for what they thought was love
Love that she would and could never feel again

This song is about a girlfriend of mine. if you or someone you love has been a victim of sexual abuse, please dont be afraid to seek help. the sexual abuse helpline is open 24 hours a day, and
Ne who cares is waiting for your call...(800)4a-child
I see her as a little girl hiding in her room
She takes another bath and she sprays her mommas perfume
To try to wipe away the scent he left behind
But it haunts her mind.
You see shes his little rag, nothing more than just a waif
And hes mopping up his need, she is tired and afraid
Maybe shell find a way through these awful years to disappear.
Ask me if I think theres a God up in the heaven
Where did he go in the middle of her shame?
Ask me if I think theres a God up in the heavens
I see no mercy and no one down heres naming names
Nobodys naming names.
Now shes looking in the mirror at a lovely woman face
No more frightened little girl, like shes gone without a trace
Still she leaves the light burning in the hall
Its hard to sleep at all.
Still she crawls up in her bed acting quiet as a mouse
Deep inside shes listening for a creaking in the house
But noones left to harm her, shes finally safe and sound
Theres a peace shes found.
Ask her how she knows theres a God up in the heaven
Where did he go in the middle of her shame?
Ask her how she knows theres a God up in the heavens
She said his mercy is bringing her life again.
Ask me how I know theres a God up in the heaven
(how do you know? )
Where did he go in the middle of her shame
(where did he go? )
Ask me how I know theres a God up in the heavens
(how do you know? )
She said his mercy is bringing her life again
Shes coming to life again.
Hes in the middle of her pain
In the middle of her shame
Mercy brings life
Hes in the middle
Mercy in the middle.
So ask me how I know
Ask me how I know, yeah
Ask me how I know theres a God up in the heaven
(how do you know? )
Ask me how I know theres a God up in the heavens
(how do you know? )
Yeah, ask me how I know
(how do you know? )
Ask me
Ask me
Ask me how I know
(how do you know? )
Theres a God up in the heavens
Ask me how I know theres a God up in the heavens.

Innocence was stolen
You stolen my innocence
As a young child
The painful memories
Filled my childhood with
Tears, hurt, and pain
The unbearable pain
The hurt
You put me though
You lost nothing
You gain power
I lose my innocence
Lost my life
Lost my happiness
Gain nothing but pain
My childhood forgotten
My childhood lost
My childhood stolen by a man
that was my moms friend
You voilatd me
You molesed me
More then I can count on my hands and feet
You took the innocents out of the child
And left pain

Casualty of abuse
I was a casualty of abuse.
I was a victim of rape.
I was hurt more than once.
God I hate you I hate you all.
All you said is it was a game.
The only one who had the fun was you.
I know what its like to hate.
Becuase I sure as hell hate you.
I try not to be that casualty any more.
Only try as I might.
Defeated I fall.
Its hard to forget and move on.
When justice was not done.
When I see and hear you all the time.
I will forever remain a casualty of abuse.
Like a casualty of war.
I will always be broken.
And pain will always engulf my hart.

When I Was Young I Cried
When I was young I cried when I was sad, when I was young I cried when I was happy, when I was young I cried when I wanted something, when I was young I cried when I was lonely, when I was young I cried when I had to say goodbye, when I was young I cried when my feelings were hurt, when I was young I cried when I wasn't accepted, when I was young I cried when I was mocked, when I was young I cried for attention, when I was young I cried when I was scared, when I was young I cried when I hurt others, when I was young I cried when I felt physical pain, when I was young I cried when I was jealous, when I was young I cried when I lost someone or when I was lost somewhere, when I was young I cried when I didn't know, and now as an adult I cry because I understand.

The Need for Touch
To touch and be touched is perhaps the most human thing we do.
It can provoke many emotions.
Those who have been hurt, fear it; and want to run away.
Run away from the terror, the abuse, the roughness.
In running away, we feel safe.
Safe from being hurt again... Safe from feeling... But oh so alone...
We have lost trust... the trust we had as a child.
Each time we are hurt, it becomes harder to trust in another.
Trusting that, in reaching out, we won't be hurt again.
But without trust, there can be no peace..
If there is no peace, there will always be a longing. Something missing...
In peace, we can be alone if we wish or
We can reach out and soak in the goodness of touching
and being touched by another. Both are good.
When we can trust in another:
Their touch calms us... soothes us... quiets our fears.
While being nursed, a baby caresses its mother while she nurtures him.
A father's cuddle is returned with contentment and joy.
That bond of trust, born from gentle touch, allows each to be at peace.
It allows each to gather strength from the other.
Some find that animals fill their need to touch. A dog's trust is unconditional.
It will follow you where ever you go and protect you with it's life.
All it wants in return is your touch, your affection.. Your caress.
A caress is a special kind of touch.. It is born of love and mutual trust.
A trust that allows us to stand on our own, even when the other isn't there.
Trusting that, if we call, the other will respond. Without fear...
Without questioning... Simply because we called.. A friend.
In quietly caressing and being caressed we gain strength.
nothing calms faster...
the child in all of us.
the need in all of us..
The human in all of us.
It is good to trust.

Childhood Dreams
Said the little Boy to the little Girl
“When I grow up, I’ll be King of the world,
A cowboy, a fireman, the singer in a band,
A scientist or the greatest ball player in the land.”
He never said to his childhood friend
“I’ll be a junkie in the end-
I’ll watch as the dope steals my job and my wife
My self-respect, my children, and eventually, my life.”
That little Boy had plans and dreams
That weren’t about falling apart at the seams.
Said the little Girl to the little Boy
“When I grow up I’ll bring such joy,
I’ll write a song or maybe a book,
I’ll be a model, a mother, a teacher, a cook.”
She never thought in a million years
“I’ll end up a crackhead who has cried all her tears
Whose only wish is another hit,
Who’s lost her soul and herself to it.”
That little girl had dreams in her head-
She never thought she’d be walking dead.
The Moral of this story sad but true
Is that these things could happen to you
Or me, or anyone, it seems, who forgets
Their smaller self and their childhood dreams,
The hungry ghosts with their tortured eyes
Got caught up in their webs of lies.
They lost their dreams, abandoned hope,
And sold their souls to the gods of dope.
But dreams of childhood can always renew-
And mend the hurts life puts us through;
Let Go, Let God(ess) take your pain,
And Change and make you Whole again.
Let Great Spirit open up your eyes
And tell you truths, not twisted lies.
Let Peace Begin inside of you-
The Peace of God which will make you new.
Let Mother guide you as you go,
And learn from watching the river flow.
If you will do these simple things
You’ll remember your Childhood Dreams.

Childhood lost
Lost was my childhood.
Taken from around me from bastards who hurt me.
They were happy playing their games.
Maybe becuase it gave them fame.
All it gave me was pain.
My childhood was lost.
It was taken from me by bastards like you.
As A little girl I was always angry the teachers would say.
If only they knew the truth.
If only they knew why I had so much anger.
It was becuase my childhood was being taken from me.
I never could trust people well after that 9 times.
I hate all of you 5 bastards.
You stole my childhood.
Now later on as I grow older.
It affects me still.
I'm still angry.
My anger has never gone away.
All becuase my childhood was lost too you

She's So Beautiful
She's So Beautiful
Written by: Hans Poulsen (1984)
I hear your accusations darling,
And my reply is hard to find.
Oh, I wanna know you better.
Won't you consider one more time.
River flow to shining sea,
Mountain nectar blue.
Children flow like waterfalls,
Sweeter love renew.
Peace then war, then peace again.
Trial and error true.
Oh, if you were to visit there,
You would love her too ooooo!
She's so beautiful.
She's so kind and free.
She's so beautiful.
She's all there is to me.
(repeat)
Tiny planet spins through space,
Gives my life to me.
Fifteen billion human beings,
Where's our destiny?
Peace then war, then peace again.
Trial and error true.
Oh, if you were to come down there,
You would love her too like I do!
She's so beautiful.
She's so kind and freeyeah!
She's so beautiful.
She's all there is to me.
(repeat 7 times)

Secrets That Don't Need To Be In My Life Anymore
i hate these moments,
i'm so stressed out,
i don't know what to do,
plus having flashbacks on top of it,
only becuz the body remembers,
what was done to it,
can't tell what real,
it all just feels like a really bad dream,
i just want out,
everything comes to mind,
do i drink,
just to numb the pain?
do i self injure,
just to stop the intense pain?
i just want it to stop,
i don't know what to do,
every touch is a reminder,
that i didn't have a normal childhood,
no matter how hard i try,
i'm just me,
a person that is hurting,
from childhood sexual abuse,
i said it,
it's out,
the pain is less,
i hated that secret,
but it still leaves me alone,
no many ppl can understand my pain,
my struggles i live by,
the frustration that leaves me,
to want to take the easy way out,
to go as far as finding a drug,
that will numb me enough,
where i can feel ok,
but i know if i do,
than i'm only moving backwards,
it the reason i continue to fight,
even when it get hard like today,
cuz in the end when the rain stops,
the sun will shine,
and show me a better day,
i'm just wish the rain,
will hurry up and leave already.

Your Childhood
From birth to five, you're learning
From five to ten, you're playing
By the time you're fifteen
You're never wrong
But then you turn around
And it's all gone, your childhood
Now daddy knows what he's saying
You're in my arms and i'm praying
That i'll be given the strength and time
To make yours just as happy as mine
Your childhood
Every morning
Your crying ends my sleep
I kid on i'm angry
But it's not a feeling i can keep
There's no light outside
I don't care 'cos i know it's true
That in our house
The sun shines out of you
You've got your mother's looks
Your're a beautiful little girl
You'll break boys hearts
All over this world
Then one day you'll walk out the door
And i know you'll break mine
You'll break mine
From birth to five, you're learning
From five to ten, you're playing
By the time you're fifteen you're never wrong
But then you turn around and it's all gone
Your childhood
So you're trying to talk
Any day now you'll walk
You'll be running around
Make me act like a clown
'cos i live and i breathe
For my little girl
Our little girl
The most important thing is this whole wide world
Now daddy know what he's saying
Your in my arms and i'm praying
That i'll be given the strength an time
To make yours just as happy as mine
Your childhood

In the Land of Childhood
In the magic land of childhood,
Where all children fondly dwell,
There’s a pocketful of daydreams,
And a story sweet to tell,
A land of true believing,
Where each happy child stands tall,
And a million golden moments,
Where life’s tiny sunbeams fall.
Childhood holds a place enchanted,
Where no grownup can invade.
There’s an ignorance unequalled,
That just never seems to fade.
There is laughter soft and gentle,
With a hope that’s running wild,
And a world of dreaming,
In the heart of every child.
I am sure the children are loved,
As he gazes from above,
Lending peace and special meaning,
To these ting bits of love.
Pleasant barefoot days in summer,
Fantasy and joys untold,
In the magic land of childhood…..
Silver raindrops-sun of gold.

Peace And Love
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love
Riding around in a volkswagon van
Thinking of the people upside down in Japan
Staring at the stars in a distant galaxy
Wonderin' if there's someone out there staring back at me singin'
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love
Lying on the floor
Just playing my guitar
Trying to find the chords for just the way you are
Plane crash flashing on my TV
Well it could have been you baby well it could have been me
We'll never live forever, well baby things could be worse
Cause when we get together we are one with the universe
Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont
Open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant
Got crazy karma never harmed a single soul
So if you want to join me than together we'll grow old singin'
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love
Peace and love
Peace and love
That's all I'm thinking of baby peace and love

Those Who Commit Crimes Against Children
Those who commit crimes against children will surely be made to pay
If the Law does not catch them then Karma will one day
Self esteem they do erode and self confidence destroy
In the mind of their young victim the innocent girl or boy.
The abuse of children by an adult surely a crime of shame
Not many worse crimes than it that one could wish to name
Their innocence stolen from them in their most vulnerable years
For the victims of child abuse humanity sheds tears.
The abuse of a child on human innocence an attack
And innocence when stolen cannot be given back
Some of those who commit such crimes as children may have known abuse
But that for their behaviour not a good enough excuse.
Any crime against a child is a hard crime to forgive
And those guilty of child abuse with their sins have to live
And though on another human being one ought not to wish ill
If the Law does not punish them then Karma surely will.

Trust Was Taken, Memories Remain
i wonder why i can't find love,
than i wonder if i will ever trust somebody enough,
to ever get close to me,
it don't seem fair,
that i'm left with bad memories,
mostly on how to truely love somebody,
but i can't change my past,
i've been trying for so long,
it just not that easy,
i can't just let it go,
like ppl want me to,
it just not that simple,
it like if i told told you to cut your arm,
yet even though it gone,
you are reminded everytime you look at it,
it the same way when i'm reminded of my past,
there are just some things i will never get back,
but it wasn't my choice to make,
yet i'm suffering from it,
life just seem so unfair,
i don't even know how to see the positive,
the more i fight it,
and remain strong,
the harder it fight,
to remain existing,
i don't know what else to do,
not many understand what i go through,
with childhood sexual abuse,
you feel so alone,
out of place with yourself,
just trying to be normal,
the painful truth is,
that it will never be.

They Used Up All My Tears
They used up all my tears
I cried for the mother that left me
I cried for the man who took her away
I cried for the brothers I couldn’t see
I cried for the family that abandoned me
I cried for the people that hurt me
I cried for those that were supposed to protect me
I cried for the family I lost
I cried for the family I needed
But when I went to cry those tears of happiness
There was nothing left
The tears had all gone
