Stay In School
Stay in school, don't be a fool
A dropout gets left out
A dropout gets pushed out
Show me your name, what does it mean
Show me your ring, you're in the scene
Without an education there is no beginning
With education you are winning
Stay in school, student maintain your cool
It's so hard to get a job now days
Without education just be on your way
Show me your car, what does it prove?
Show me youe diploma, you're in the groove
You don't have to be smart to finish school
But you are a square if you are not there
Dropout, you can start back
Students that are in school
You are on the right track
You can stand around the corner
Watching the school bus go by
You know deep down inside you want to cry
It is good to stop drinking
It is good to stop smoking
When you are thinking about stopping your education
My friend you better start thinking

Burn The School Down
She said
I lost my best friend last week at school
He got shot
Someone thought that he was part of something that
He was not
Now I'm watching all the cheerleaders show just how sad they are
When my friend used to come 'round
They used to laugh and egg his car
Now I'm gonna do my part as a concerned citizen
I think we should burn the school down
And start again
Burn it
'Till there's nothing left
Burn it
Just like all the rest
Burn it
Clear up all this mess
Burn it down
Education for the nation
Kids retaliate on each station
Expectation, violation
Pressure increased in each generation
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, she said
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, start again
'Cause now what I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
She says
I want to feel more comfort in my own skin
But everyone around me makes me feel like
I'm worth less than them
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, she said
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, start again
Burn it
'Till there's nothing left
Burn it
Just like all the rest
Burn it
Clear up all this mess
Burn it down
'Cause now what I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, right?
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, right?
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, right?
Burn the school down
Burn the school down
Burn the school down, right
Burn it
'Till there's nothing left
Burn it
Just like all the rest
Burn it
Clear up all this mess
Burn it down
'Cause now what I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Will the eyes inside the back of your mind let it go?
Now all I want to know
Now all I want to know
Now all I want to know
Now all I want to know

School Dropout
He never went to school
But he was no fool
He was simply playing Mr Cool
Eyes closed by cottonwool
Cheered on my mates
Sealed his present faith
There is a time to play
A time to go to school
His parents told him
Make that your number one rule
He wholly ignored them
How can education
be a such golden gem
Now he sobs, sobs, sobs
Now he robs, robs, robs
No qualifications
Zero education
His mates have moved on
to better jobs
In many glorious nations
Now he sobs, sobs, sobs
Now he robs, robs, robs
He wishes he was a student
He wishes he had the talent
He had at one moment
There are no more screams and shouts
Because he knows what he is all about
He is a school dropout

The Perfect school
THE PERFECT SCHOOL
A place where a student worships his teacher as a god,
The heads of the children before their teacher nod.
The place is the school where teachers give education,
It’s a school where there is afforestation.
A school that has all the beauties,
Is a perfect school whose students have all the qualities.
A school whose students will become president and magic vista,
A school whose students will become Rabindranath Tagore and Mother Teresa.
The Perfect School is a school whose trees will always be uploaded with fruits of joy, success and happiness,
A school whose students will never have a future of darkness.
That school will conquer the world,
In that school, music will be sung by birds.

School Is Not So Cool
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool
We're here 5 days a week
8 hours a day.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
People laugh when we fall
we just have to make a call.
School, School, School
A school is not so cool.
We have to work hard to get good grades
I'm not going to do it no more
I do it everyday.
We cant go on the grass
We cant bother another class
We cant save spots at lunch
We have to go as a bunch.
We have 3 minutes in the hall
I'm always late what a ball.
We have to pay attention
if not we get detention.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
They have to many rules
they play us as fools
if we get A's
the parents jump Hip Hip Hooray.
If we get F's
we tell them we need to take a rest.
We always have homework
we never have classwork
they have to many rules
they need to take it cool.
School, School, School,
A school is so not cool!

Last day of my school
That was the day when i met
My good friends during the sunset
And having many regrets
My last day at school
Everyone was so worried
here had those times buried
When to reach the school we hurried
My last day at school
Leaving the school hurt me a lot
What a present I silently got
And I promised to forget my friends not
My last day at school
From the beginning to the end
Sweet messages were sent
Everything happened that meant
My last day at school
Sometimes I stop thinking
That my beautiful moments are sinking
And I keep my friend’s phones ringing
My last day at school
I do not like to enter
The new college centre
This all seems like dementor
My last day at school
When I weep
And my tears fall deep
And I got precious gifts to keep
My last day school

Education A Lost Cause
Education A Lost Cause
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted Feb.2010
Education was importion at one time,
now it is on the back burner not importation.
In the U.S.A. we ranked number one in education,
now in the U.S.A. we rank 13th in education.
Americans cannot even comprehend English language
besides math or science even sex education.
Americans talk with text or iming words thinking that the English language
when Americans today are alliterate cannot read or write even do math.
Our states even government wants to take away
12th grade from high school what's next?
11TH grade than no high school suppose to be going forward not backwards.
So we need to fix education and our government,
because education comes first and the fat cats like the senators,
and the congressman come last no more free rides plus free dinners.
We need to rank number one in education again!

The School Days are near!
Same shrieking morning alarms,
Same morning fear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
Sleeping in the bathroom,
From out, Mom shouts, '' DO YOU EVEN HEAR? ''
The school days are near, The school days are near!
So drowsy I am,
Confused, don't know what to wear!
The school days are near, The school days are near!
And entered into the school,
Murmuring silently, '' Oh dear! Oh dear! ''
The school days are near, the school days are near!
And if the first period is Maths,
Not again those equations linear! !
The school days are near, the school days are near!
A look at the load of books,
From the corner of my eye drops a tear!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Gosh! When will vacations come?
We'll have to wait an year!
The school days are near, the school days are near!
Hoping when we go,
We'll find joy, sheer!
The school days are near, The school days are near! ! : D

Domino College
By: jimmy buffett, dan fogelberg
1986
Found myself a matchbook
Beside some hotel bed
Opened it up and looked inside
And this is what it said
Chorus:
Get on back to school
Domino college, back to school
Boneyard full of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back to school, going back, back to school)
Fly down to miami
Get yourself a boat
Fill it full of suntan oil
And rent yourself a goat
Aint no registration
Aint no student loan
You may not learn to read or write
But you will surely learn to roll dem bones
Chorus:
Get on back to school
Domino college, back to school
Boneyard full of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back to school, going back, back to school)
They dont rap your knuckles
If you cut the class
They just track you through the jungle boy
Then they kick your ass
Its a different kind of domino theory
They teach you down in butler town
If you lose you buy the booze
And then the student body all falls down
Chorus:
They cant get back to school
Domino college, back to school
Fountain of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back, back to school)
Get on back
Make your parents hate you
Be a big disgrace
Act just like a domino
And fall on your face
Chorus:
You cant get back to school
Domino college, back to school
Fountain of knowledge
There aint no graduation from this kind of education
Back to school (going back, back to school)
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back, back to school)
Be true to your school
-- spoken:
Oh, jan & dean be true to your school. big six, big six, whose got it? goddamn robert when you gonna play man, hey man, say, you know whose turn it is.

Back to school (going back to school) repeat and fade

The School Of Life...
The place were much was learned; The School Of Life.
A far different place than papers, books, and homework.
The School of Life, is a never ending, when it comes to lessons.
In The School Of Life, I have learned, that not
all, is ever learned, or comprehended.
The School Of Life, often teaches one, some bitter and
disappointing lessons.
This school, reveals much in the way of surprises. Many
that of a happy nature and some, devastating.
Somehow, The School Of Life, teaches one, to keep going.
To try...try and try again. We learn that much is gained
through tenacity. We learn it matters not how many times
one is knocked down, for it is how many times we get
up, that is the test in this school.
We learn of mans inhumanity to man. We learn that in
helping our fellow human beings, there is much reward.
We learn, that The School Of Life, has no graduating day.
We learn, that we remain, an ongoing student of education.
The School Of Life, does have its rewards; a diploma of
knowledge, understanding and wisdom.
The School Of Life, better than any college in the world.
The School of Life, where knowledge is ones ticket to
anyplace in the world.
Learn ye well, for in The School Of Life, one does not
have the opportunity to repeat a grade.

We are looking for ways to decrease the dropout rate. I am pretty sure, if we eliminate career and technical education, we are going to increase the dropout rate.

In School
in school,
when i saw you
i intuited i have found
my lost world in you
i wish i could act
to be appreciated
by you in school.
in school,
it would be too sad
to narrate the ordeal
i have been through
i wonder if its best
i had met you
in the school.
in school,
though i had not said it
there has been so many ways
that i have shown it
my actions had done
whatever i wanted to say
at school.
in school,
i never thought
being in love
could take me to madness
well, it is better than
leaving me in sadness
in the school.
in school,
when i approached you
i knew i was silly
it was because
suddenly,
i forgot who i was
in school
in school,
why do you sneer
when i am near
it really breaks me
just tell me what to do
to get a room from you
in and out of school.
in school,
sometimes though it is hard
i guess i must let go
some things i wish to have
though good things also
could be found elsewhere
as it has been in school.

Back To School
You didnt listen when you went to school
You dressed like a clown and you behaved like a fool
But now your education is about to begin
The difference between love and the mess that youre in
You figured youre cool Ill bend all the rules
Ill get them going red flags to a bull
Its not like the movies no duel in the sun
You need the answer to get your love done
Now youre going back to school
Now youre going to learn the rules
Now youre going back, youre going back
Youre going back to school
You know the business or so you believe
You set all your sights but you aim to deceive
You think youll hit the target every time that you fire
You think you know the difference between love and desire
But someones waiting to turn you around
Shell shoot you down and put your feet on the ground
Its not like dreamin you can make mistakes
A lesson learned is not so easy to take
Now youre going back to school
Now youre going to learn the rules
Now youre going back, youre going back
Youre going back to school
Now youre going back to school
Now youre going to learn the rules
Now youre going back, youre going back
Youre going back to school
Youre doin numbers but you dont keep the score
Theyre scratchin the surface but they dont
Reach the core
You only bought the ticket cause the price was all in
Youll never reach the heart until you,ve broken the skin
Youre busy running but you never relax
Live now pay later including the tax
But now your education is about to begin
Forget about the stories and the places youve been
Now youre going back to school
Now youre going to learn the rules
Now youre going back, youre going back
Youre going back to school
Back to school back to school

Adult Education
Its afternoon in the homeroom and theyre about to let you go.
And the locker slam on the plan you had tonight.
Youve been messing around with a boyfriend maybe better left alone.
Theres a wise guy that you know could put you right.
In the lot the boy thats idling by doesnt rev your heart.
Cause its only lonely spots he shares with you.
And the long halls and the gray walls are gonna split apart.
Believe it or not theres life after high school.
The student bodys got a bad reputation.
What they need is adult education.
Back to school its a bad situation.
But what you want is an adult education.
The teacher dont know about how to deal with the student body.
And the underclassmen are flashing hot and cool.
All your girlfriends care about the watch you wear and theyre talkin about it.
Believe it or not theres life after high school.
Theyre calling it a preparation.
Youre waiting for a separation.
Youre nothing but another odd number,
Memories that you wont remember.
So you got a little education.
And a lot of dedication.
But you want a little night school.
Maybe some of it will rub off on you.
The boys are busy in the mirrors.
Trying to imitate their heroes.
You make it with a false surrender.
More memories you wont remember.
The senior with the junior misss
I wonder what the junior wishes.
That she could graduate to adult.
That she could graduate to adult kisses.

What Is School Like?
School is like a prison
We can’t leave,
School is like an island
We are all trapped,
School is like a pie
It is good at first until you reach the crust,
School is like a toilet
It is full of germs,
School is like a salad
You have to put something on it to make it better,
School is like a stupid cat
It never dies,
School is like a garbage truck
It smells, it’s big and you can here it from a mile away,
School is like a baby
It always needs your attention,
School is like a shark
It just keeps chasing,
School is like going to jail
You never want to go back,
