Another Sunny Day 12/25

We see it on tv we get calls on the phone
By the prophets of doom they wont leave us alone
The planet is dying and theres no time to spare
They spend all our days sowing seeds of despair
We get enough bad news to harden our hearts
This fear what we feed on is whats keeping us apart
To say that we doomed is just an obvious remark
And it dont make you right it just keep you in the dark
I dont want to live angry
I dont want to live scared
I dont need no more prophets crying
Brother beware
Just put some work in my hand
And give me a dollar to spare
And dont let me sow those seeds of despair
Well this earth is a graveyard it will swallow our bones
It was here long before us it will be here when were gone
And its a vain generation that looks for a sign

Despair Is Darkness

DESPAIR IS DARKNESS

Despair is darkness-
Despair is death inside and death in the world and death in one’s own sad soul-
Despair is no way out -
Despair is the place where one is forever stuck -
Despair is the realization that one has done what one could – and one is not going anywhere else-
Despair is the admission of failure-
Despair is no sign of help anywhere around-
Despair is so much lost-
Despair is one‘s life is over-
Despair is regret-
Despair is the sense that one will never have the time to have another chance -
Despair is ‘it’s finished’-
Despair is no way out-
Despair is going down and more down and more dark and more afraid all the time -
Despair is the scream which hurts and does not stop the hurting -
Despair is the understanding that even Death will not save one -

As I Walk...

As I walk along this unknown path of emotions
I find myself in front of a mirror...staring at a sad eyed
soul with rags of despair draped over its shoulders and
an anvil chained to its heart. What is this? I ask
myself and the answer comes to me...
This is you, how you feel on the inside...you are a torn
soul, lost and confused while laden with despair and
a heavy heart.
This I already knew...

I lower my head...
What am I to do besides go on and hope
that I make it through the day without
choking or crying? I am only so strong
and this trial has pushed me beyond those limits
of strength. It's ok though, I am not ashamed to admit
that I have cried over my actions and feel regret and
despair. In admitting this I find my humanity, the part of me
that beats to the steady rhythm of my heart...this heart chained
to an anvil in symbolism of my regret and pain.

I look up into my own eyes and see
red circles, what I have done to myself?
More importantly, what have I done to her?
This expression of despair and regret does no
justice, it only scratches the surface...

Staring at the mirror for hours I find that each
rag of despair recedes...the anvil grows smaller as
each link in the chain slowly dissolves. Over time, I know
now that I shall heal...but what does it matter? I'll live
with this for the rest of my life. I may heal but when...when
shall I forgive myself? When will I be forgiven?

I turn my back and walk down
the darkened path of despairing emotion.
I feel the mirrors glare on my backside,
I wonder if my reflection stayed put and
holds a knife?

Rainbow On The Horizon

Love may be misleading at this moment in time
Do not fear as a love sublime
is on it's way to restore your faith
to believe once again in love and grace
hold on tight to your inner feelings
love will surrender your truth and light
it will be on your path and make everything right
love is to embrace and warm and heal you
to fill your soul with an everlasting love
that's surely sent from heaven above
so in your despair of meeting that soul mate
remember these words and hold them close to your heart
a love thats so real and eternal and heartfelt
that loves on it's way quicker than you think
it's all up to god and his path designed for you
or destiny or fate
Please realise this love is part of the plan
to make you aware of his unwavering support
your rock your refuge your inner guide
will bring to you your hearts desire
so please don't despair at this moment in time

I am a little bit of loneliness, a little bit of disregard
Handful of complaints, but I can help the fact, that everybody can see these scars
