Salt Sprinkled Across The Bed
Salt sprinkled across the bed
Lying evenly against the spread
Drops of snow in a desert of red
What was it I said
Grind against the fallacy
As we always awake to reality
This journey bearing its mark on the weak
Heaven snowing hell while sleet
Journey of worry sprinkled with hope
Journey of pleasure which we try to stay afloat
How is the tear manifested in both sorrow and gratitude
How at our lowest point do we gain our greatest fortitude
The caterpillar in the ca coon can only spread its wings
By beating them against the ca coon flying towards its dreams
Drops of snow in a desert of red
Lying evenly against the spread
What was it I said
Salt sprinkled across the bed

Ode of Abigail
Ode of Abigail
Drops of twinkle rain were expecting you,
to render your nocturnal forms; hex play,
Ode of Abigail on waves sprinkled quay;
Was she a mizzle wraith form, blue bayou,
Drenched form waiting persistent to sway;
Drops of twinkle rain were expecting you;
Pelting on fields upwards to skies, eschew,
smiling dream; form made of soul and clay,
Ode of Abigail on waves sprinkled quay;
Out on the faraway to hold, April's dew
Referred to aboves, winter clouds of gray,
Drops of twinkle rain were expecting you;
Blissful to far, a stare she was, sea view,
redeeming icon and lift, Heaven's display;
Ode of Abigail on waves sprinkled quay;
She was unreached, lady agleam on blue,
perceiving Winter's cold raindrops spray,
Drops of twinkle rain were expecting you;
Ode of Abigail on waves sprinkled quay.

Union and Liberty
FLAG of the heroes who left us their glory,
Borne through their battle-fields' thunder and flame,
Blazoned in song and illumined in story,
Wave o'er us all who inherit their fame!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Light of our firmament, guide of our Nation,
Pride of her children, and honored afar,
Let the wide beams of thy full constellation
Scatter each cloud that would darken a star!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Empire unsceptred! what foe shall assail thee,
Bearing the standard of Liberty's van?
Think not the God of thy fathers shall fail thee,
Striving with men for the birthright of man!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Yet if, by madness and treachery blighted,
Dawns the dark hour when the sword thou must draw,
Then with the arms of thy millions united,
Smite the bold traitors to Freedom and Law!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!
Lord of the Universe! shield us and guide us,
Trusting Thee always, through shadow and sun!
Thou hast united us, who shall divide us?
Keep us, oh keep us the MANY IN ONE!
Up with our banner bright,
Sprinkled with starry light,
Spread its fair emblems from mountain to shore,
While through the sounding sky
Loud rings the Nation's cry,
UNION AND LIBERTY! ONE EVERMORE!

The Journey
(julie gold)
Half the world is sleeping
Half the worlds awake
Half can hear their hearts beat
Half just hear them break
I am but a travler
Been most everywhere
Ask me what you want to know
Chorus:
What a journey it has been
And the end is not in sight
But the stars are out tonight
And theyre bound to guide my way
When theyre shining on my life
I can see your better day
I wont let the darkness in
What a journey it has been
I have been to sorrow
I have been to bliss
Where Ill be tomorrow
I can only guess
Through the darkest desert
Through the deepest snow
Foward, always foward I go
(repeat chorus)
Bridge:
Foward, always foward
Onward, always up
Catching every drop of hope
In my empty cup
(repeat chorus)
What a journey it has been

Traveling
Entering the Springtime of my life years ago
Myriads of emotions sprinkled with bouts of woe
Tested my metal and kept me sway
As I traveled a journey toward The Way.
Little did I know in the heat of the Summer
Eventually I would surmount as an overcomer
Obstacles of draughts and fires that charred my soul
As I traveled a journey toward The Goal.
As the Autumn of my life came and went
I pondered if prior seasons were well spent
Resolving to focus on others, myself as least
I now traveled a journey toward the Banquet Feast.
Now in the Wintertime of my Salvific traveling
Avenues of serenity are oft pitted by graveling
Step by stoney step I mount the steep climb
Traveling the journey toward a Heaven sublime.

With ships the sea was sprinkled
WITH ships the sea was sprinkled far and nigh,
Like stars in heaven, and joyously it showed;
Some lying fast at anchor in the road,
Some veering up and down, one knew not why.
A goodly vessel did I then espy
Come like a giant from a haven broad;
And lustily along the bay she strode,
Her tackling rich, and of apparel high.
The ship was nought to me, nor I to her,
Yet I pursued her with a lover's look;
This ship to all the rest did I prefer:
When will she turn, and whither? She will brook
No tarrying; where she comes the winds must stir:
On went she, and due north her journey took.

Journey to Be
I think I'll journey out some day to wondrous lands afar,
Or even chart a journey to a distant blazing star.
But rest assured that when my journey begs to take its cue,
Always know that when I go, this journey takes you too.
We'll start our journey out from here by horse and cart of old,
The seaside docks - and journey pauses - where we shall behold
A noble schooner for the journey primed to launch as planned:
To sail with dolphins cross the seas then journey back on land.
And so our journey goes by foot to conquer mountains tall:
A chapter hence the journey reached, with scenes that should enthral.
But when we tire, let's rest our journey, stretched in fields of flowers,
And bathe atop the mountain from the journey - autumn showers!
Refreshed, our journey takes a turn - we'll venture back for home,
But first we'll let the journey take a tangent just to roam.
And in the winding route, this journey's bound to bide content,
But most of all take heed - let's make our journey life's event.

A Life without Life
A life, a journey
without passion and affection
emptiness inside
gloominess outside
dreams fly away
reality is a blur
A life, a journey
without passion and affection
lying outside
dying inside
holding on to a belief
nothing but a dust
A life, a journey
without passion and affection
time passed by
nothing gained everything lost

A Dreamer's Journey
In my dream I am flying, I'm dancing on starlight,
Sending a wish into the night that I may find you,
That we may journey to a place where love lives eternal,
A place where endless rainbows mark the beginning of dreams,
Where unicorns graze in fields of daffodils and I am lost in your smile,
I send a wish upon the wings of angels that you may join me,
For my heart is drenched with the tears of a lonely soul,
Will you follow me to the place where love lives forever,
For in this place all dreams can become a beautiful truth...
The dream is real... The failure to realise it is the only reality...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Lily-Bell and Thistledown Song I
Awake! Awake! for the earliest gleam
Of golden sunlight shines
On the rippling waves, that brightly flow
Beneath the flowering vines.
Awake! Awake! for the low, sweet chant
Of the wild-birds' morning hymn
Comes floating by on the fragrant air,
Through the forest cool and dim;
Then spread each wing,
And work, and sing,
Through the long, bright sunny hours;
O'er the pleasant earth
We journey forth,
For a day among the flowers.
Awake! Awake! for the summer wind
Hath bidden the blossoms unclose,
Hath opened the violet's soft blue eye,
And awakened the sleeping rose.
And lightly they wave on their slender stems
Fragrant, and fresh, and fair,
Waiting for us, as we singing come
To gather our honey-dew there.
Then spread each wing,
And work, and sing,
Through the long, bright sunny hours;
O'er the pleasant earth
We journey forth,
For a day among the flowers.

Journey From A Small Place
I think I'll journey out some day to wondrous lands afar,
Or even chart a journey to a distant blazing star.
I make a journey in a paper
A contemplation ink in white field
I make a journey inside the book
Traveling my imagination in the word ocean
I make a journey under the table
A furious food battle on the ground
I make a journey on top of the roof
Transforming myself among the cloud in the sky
I make a journey outside the glass
A different possibility faces on the transparent canvas
I make a journey at the bridge
Clearing the dark shadow with the water current
I make a journey above the tree
An adventure child who never stops to grow
I make a journey over my pillow
Bringing a piece of dream to reality world

A broken journey
Alone in the night
I listen to the wind
I want to runaway
Just get out of my skin
There’s a piece of heaven in the center of the woods
But somehow we’re warped into “oh I wish I could’s”
I wish I could take the pain you feel away
Peel away the layers and just remain bare
I wish you could stay
I wish I could call your name and you’ll be there
I wish I could tell you that I’m scared
I wish that this broken journey will take my pain
I wish I could disappear
I wish this broken journey would become clear
I wish you were here
To rest in my mind
I wish you were mine
I wish I could look into your eyes
Hear your hearts melody
Tear myself from this broken journey
Be with you my one and only
Unfortunately
We are on this broken journey

Believe in your dreams
Search the depths of your soul where reality is lost to illusion
Explore the meandering labyrinth of your consciousness
Open the doors to reveal the hidden treasures of your heart
Believe in your dreams and the wonders of life shall live
Journey the limitless realm that lives within your fantasies
Where horizons are chased and illusions caught
A magical land where kings triumph over tyrants
And mermaids dance in pools of shimmering crystal
Where the dragon rides the winds of the seven skies
And rainbow waterfalls light up the landscape of invention
For only when we journey to this wonderous land
Built upon the magic of dreams by the child within
Shall our tomorrows know not sadness and sorrow...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The journey...
Death is not the end of lifes adventure
It is merely a confirmation of lifes innocence
In our youth death is one of our darkest fears
With each breath we outrun the spectre of death
But death stalks us at every turn of life
With age comes wisdom and the truth becomes clear
Death is not the end but is just a comma in our journey
It can bring an end to pain and mark a new beginning
For none can halt our return to this mortal coil
Death is merely a moment standing still for all eternity
When we say goodbye to those who share our journey
Just remember this is not the beginning of the end
It is merely the end of the beginning, the journey goes on...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Amazing Unknown
doors and windows dipped in dark
closing tight you sleep alone
when you sleep opens window other
another you just moving free from you
whether desert or jungle
whether graveyard or womb
your high ankles never touch the soil
swimming deep in moonlit waves
Ocean tranquils your immense burns
beauty placid fills your veins nerves
the blue above smiles
invites the journey with clouds
the shore
mangroves
long long stretched their mysterious depth
unrest your passion
diving desperate to embrace uncertain
fly with wind wings you spread
cities unknown of forgotten past
countryside-inn of unknown janapadas
opens window another
to brief you cosmic abyss
fly you cry you laugh your unchanted aura
when you sleep
always curious I can't follow
the journey
you alone
the journey
the glide...!

My Journey...
I have traveled far and seen much on my journey
The diversions have been many and varied
I have sailed stormy seas and meandered sleepy rivers
Yet as the sun sets on another day I know
That my journey has forged who I have become
I have been battered and bruised, counted out
Sunk into worlds of deep despair and hopelessness
Fought to hold my head above sanity's tide
I know now I was never truly alone on my journey
The comfort and frienship of others always with me
They have been my beacon of light in my darekest times
Together we have laughed, loved, danced and cried
Magical moments to feed me through immortality
For my journey has become more than I ever imagined
And I realise now I would not change a single thing
It is not my mission to be perfect and satisfy others
The only one who I need to truly love me... Is me
Then and only then may my journey make sense...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...
Only when you have realised who you are,
Shall you begin to know your true value...

Heaven On A Plate
The rain
pounding the basil plants
is enough to release
memories of childhood summers
tomato and basil salads
seasoned by a touch of salt
sprinkled liberally with olive oil
the dish made in heaven.

Sweet Valley, Say
Sweet valley, say, where, pensive lying,
For me, our children, England, sighing,
The best of mortals leans his head.
Ye fountains, dimpled by my sorrow,
Ye brooks that my complainings borrow,
O lead me to his lonely bed;
Or if my lover,
Deep woods, you cover,
Ah whisper where your shadows o'er him spread.
'Tis not the loss of pomp and pleasure,
Of empire or of tinsel treasure,
That drops this tear, that swells this groan:
No; from a nobler cause proceeding,
A heart with love and fondness bleeding,
I breathe my sadly pleasing moan,
With other anguish
I scorn to languish
For love will feel no sorrows but his own.
