glued together
and the cars honk
at the j-walking civilians

One foot after the other
One place pretty much like another
Some folks got a pretty good deal
Some are just looking for their next meal
Out here where the days go by
And the glances never meet the eye
It's a walking town
And I'm just out here walking 'round
Walking 'round this walking town

The windows up, the AC high
In a world of comfort speeding by
Stressed out in the latest style

So much time spent seeking

No sun will shine in my day today
The hich yellow moon won't come out to play
I said darkness has covered my light
And the stage my day into night
Where is the love to be found

It's Time For You Escape

in concrete houses
in concrete silence

nobody can not hear
your call

concrete houses are
sinking more than once

in the wine
when the clocks

are hitting
at the morning hour

concrete hearts
being getting cold

are slowly undergoing
the life

although it this way aches
escape ahead of yourself

sometimes it just seems like
it's just raining so hard,
that you feel like you're drowning!
cant see where you're going,
all sense of light swallowed up
in a grey fog....

that you had...

everything that mattered....

Walking My Baby Back Home

Gee its great after staying out late
Walking my baby back home
Arm in arm, over meadow and farm
Walking my baby back home
We go on harmonizing a song
Or shes reciting a poem
Owls fly by and they give me the eye

We stop for awhile
She gives me a smile
And cuddles her cheek to my chest
We start to pet and thats when I get
Her powder all over my vest

She has to borrow my comb

Houses In Motion

For a long time I felt without style or grace
Wearing shoes with no socks in cold weather
I knew my heart was in the right place
I knew Id be able to do these things.
And as we watch him digging his own grave

He cant afford to stop...that is what he believe

Cold winds blow around me,
And I cant help but think of you.
All the things we wanted,

We can steal away sometime.
