My own stigmata
I have scars on my feet that look like stigmata
Two round marks, purple and perfectly round
People think it's hilerious, my stigmata wounds that is...
I only told one or two of them, that they are actually carpet burns
That I acquired, whilst in London
after that no one thinks it's hilerious
they just nod and smile...

I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Around Underneath Me
When I first saw you this strange kind of feeling set my head a-reeling
Like I hit the ceiling.
The same thing happened to me then, baby.
Something kind of crazy and everything went hazy.
Lightning and thunder shook the ground.
And I could feet the whole world turn round underneath me.
I could feet the whole world turn round.
My, have you never been set on fire?
Burning with desire growing higher and higher.
Like on a funny fair big wheel stopping when you are to topping,
The you feel it dropping
Rising and heaven falling down.
And I could feet the whole world turn round underneath me.
I could feet the whole world turn round.
I took my breath as though Ive been running.
Quite completely stunning, holy, overcoming.
And in a funny way it seemed frightening.
Tension and a hardening
Thunder and the lightning
And Ive grown the singer who wrote that song.
And I could feet the whole world turn round underneath me.
I could feet the whole world turn round when youre near me.
I could feet the whole world turn round.
I could feet the whole world turn round underneath me.
I could feet the whole world turn round when youre near me.
I could feet the whole world turn round.

Another Record
Its funny you know,
cos theres an old rock n roller
Hes got nowhere to go.
Did you ever think of taking him in?
Somebody help him, somebody please.
Put another record on
cos he likes that song.
Its funny you know,
Ooh he never done nothing, done nobody wrong,
Did he think about changing his name,
But Im gonna tell him its the same old game.
Put another record on
Round and round and round and around - oh
Ah - see him smile.
Well lately Ive seen him
Walking down the street, kinda moving his feet,
Everyone I know looks the other way
Somebody help him, somebody say -
Put another record on
Round and round and round and around - oh
Ah - see him smile.
Its funny you know,
cos theres an old rock n roller
Hes got nowhere to go.
Did you ever think of taking him in?
Somebody help him, somebody please.
Just put another record on
Put another record on
Put another record on cos you know we like it
Put another record on cos you know we like it...

Down On Me
Well, down on me, oh, down on me,
I said it looks like everybody in this whole round world
They're down on me.
One of these mornings proud and fair
Get on my wings, i'm gonna fly the air.
I said it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Lord, they're down on me.
You know they're down on me, lord, down on me, oh, oh,
And it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Down on me.
Now now now look at your door,
Can't find me 'cause today i'm gone.
And it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Are all down on me.
You know, they're down on me, now down on me, oh, oh!
And it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Is down on me.
Oh now i've never been to heaven, no, but i've been told,
Streets up there are lined with gold.
I said it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Are all down on me.
You know they're down on me, oh, down on me, oh, oh!
And it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Down on me!!
Heart is gone, rain is rain
You know i got a man and he don't never mean
Because it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Is down on me.
You know they're down on me,
Down down down on me baby
Down on me,
I said down!
Oh, oh!
And it looks like everybody in this whole round world
Down on me!!
Thank you very much. we're big brother and the holding company

In his eyes
He lights me up
When immanently
I’m in his eyes.
He wakes me up
Almost always eminently
To sunnier; golden, skies.
He wakes me up
In his love; in the gentle
Wings of a turtle dove.
He warms me and then, but
Never the less burns in me
Surly even before, he sojourns, in me.
Oh yeah!
There is really nothing to disguise
Not even for the disenchanted to chastise.
When you find;
That in his love, for you!
Is a heart ache; never more true.
Never more a truer sign neon blue!
Than in those stigmata palms
Held out too you.
There is a world unremitting...

Merry-Go-Round
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Up in the sky.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Soars me high!
Breeze rustles,
cloud's castles,
Roam round and round!
I shriek in false fear,
Seeing the thing near,
which I never have found.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Brings the fun to me,
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Fills mind with glee!
Moving round, round,
Touching the ground,
Almost kisses the sky.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Takes me up in the high!

Spinning Around Over You
Baby, tell me that my love ain't good
I don't treat you right
I don't do it like I should
You try to tell me that my heart ain't true
How would I waste my time doin' all I do for you ?
You ask me, baby, why you hesitate
That you just can't wait
But it takes the time it takes
Spinnin' round and round and round and
Spinnin' round and round and round and
Spinnin' round and round over you
You think I dissed you , so you pack your bags
You just kicked me 'round
You just through me out like trash
Now baby, babe, Im on my knees for you
Well I might be late but what you're gonna do ?
Spinnin' round and round and round and
Spinnin' round and round and round and
Spinnin' round and round over you
Baby, baby, gimme half a chance
I could treat you right
I'll give you good times and romance
'Cause baby, baby, I'm in love with you
You're my superstar
Tu es mon petit chouchou yeah
Spinnin' round and round and round
Spinnin' round and round and round
Spinnin' round and round over you

Loose Lucy
Loose lucy is my delight, she come runnin and we ball all night,
Round and round and round and round and round and round and round,
Dont take much to get me on the ground.
Shes my yo-yo, Im her string, listen to the birds on the hot wire sing,
Yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh, singing, thank you, for a real good time!
I got jumped coming home last night,
Shadow in the alley turned out all my lights,
Round and round and round and round and round and round and round,
Dont take much to get me on the ground.
Loose lucy, she was sore, says I know you dont want my love no more,
Yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh, singing, thank you, for a real good time!
Be-bop baby how can this be? I know you been out a cheating on me,
Round and round and round and round and round and round and round,
Dont take much to get the word around.
Cross my heart and hope to die, I was just hanging out with the other guys,
Yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh, singing, thank you, for a real good time!
Went back home with two black eyes, you know Ill love ya till the day I die,
Round and round and round and round and round and round and round,
Dont take much to get the word around.
I like your smile but I aint your type,
Dont shake the tree when its fruit aint ripe,
Yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh, singing yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh,
Singing yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh-yeh yeh,
Singing, thank you, for a real good time!

The Priest with Christ’s Stigmata – St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina
A baby boy was born
to Catholic parents both –
Father, Grazio and mother, Maria,
On May25,1887,
In Pietrelcina, town in Italy.
Fourth amongst the seven children,
He was baptized next day as Francesco,
After St. Francis of Assisi,
At Castle Church.
He was a special child of God.
The Forgione family
Was pious to the core;
They were just peasants;
Although, they could not read or write,
They kept God above everything:
Attending daily mass;
Reciting Rosary,
And fasting quite often;
They told their children
Bible stories and Scriptures
By heart!
Strong faith in Jesus Christ
Was nurtured in Pio
When he was only five!
He spoke to Jesus,
Mother Mary,
And guardian angel,
And suffered temptations
From devils.
When only ten years’ old,
He yearned to be a friar
Of the Capuchin order.
He joined the order
And took the habit
When he was fifteen,
And the name, Pio
After Saint Pius V.
At twenty-three,
He was ordained priest,
And said his first mass,
Four days later.
A month later,
He got the stigmata
Of Jesus Christ;
Unable to bear
The annoyance,
He prayed;
The wounds vanished
For a while.
Pio desired to suffer
Secretly.
Due to illness,
Pio was sent home
But kept his friar life –
Said mass,
And taught at school.
He went to the friary
Of Our Lady of Grace,
And led a holy, simple life.
Ordered to work
In the Italian Medical Corps,
He was unhappy,
But was discharged soon.
Pio grew up in piety;
‘Prepare for battle in the morning;
Purify your soul in the evening;
Pray, hope and don’t worry.’ –
Were his keys to spiritual success.
Pio prayed for the end to the World War;
He saw Christ and got a wound on his side;
It showed his love of God and vice-versa.
In 1918, he saw the wounded Christ
And received the Visible Stigmata:
The five wounds of Jesus Christ
Forever – a gift of God!
The wounds were painful
And bled from time to time.
For fifty years, he bore
The stigmata of Christ!
The blood had an odor of perfume;
He could Prophesy and foretell;
Bilocation was his unique power.
He read the sins of persons
Who came to him to confess.
Padre Pio became famous
So, did the Friary and the Church;
People flocked to see and confess sins;
Pio became very busy;
He’d barely just two hours to sleep!
Spiritual fame brought detractors;
False accusations were leveled;
They tried to curb his work-schedule;
They tried to transfer him afar.
Undeterred, Padre Pio continued;
The ban on Mass was soon reversed;
His faculties were soon restored;
He was also allowed to preach.
More pilgrims flocked to visit him;
He heard their confessions promptly;
Pio started a Medical Center;
A larger Church was constructed.
He’s known now internationally!
With over-work, he became ill;
And bed-ridden in 1968.
He died in the early morning;
As he’d foretold, he lived sick
But died healthy, at 81 yrs’ of age,
on September 23,1968.
With the stigmata,
All healed!
A lakh of people attended
His holy funeral!
His yoke though heavy,
In Christ became easy;
And his burden light,
When borne with faith in Christ.
The crucified Christ
Had chosen the lad
To be a priest,
And make Him glad.
He was declared ‘Blessed’
On May,2,1999,
And Saint, on June 16,2002
Both by Pope John Paul II.
He’d drawn a lot of souls,
Closer to God!
Padre Pio loved to repeat:
‘I’m a poor Franciscan who prays;
Prayer is the best weapon, we have –
A key that opens the Heart of God! ’

"Ole" Baugh Road
Round Ole Baugh Road its a great place kids to grow
Some grow up and move away
Most of us decide to stay
Round the oleBaugh Road
Hard working mom and dad
Gve us things that they never had
I our corner of the world
Romance is slow for the boys and girls
Round the ole Baugh Road
The neighborhood still looks the same
just new kids with the same old names
My Baugh Roads in a southern state
Yours may be anywhere, USA
Look around ole Baugh Road.
I see the kids on Ole Baugh Road
I see the glory of the future glow
Look to the Heavens and give a shout
Like my daddy did when he started out.
Round, round, round the ole Baugh Road,
Round, round, round,
Round, round, round
Round, round, round,
The OleBaugh Road
Round, round, round,
Round, round, round...

Can u tell me where were going 2?
Can u tell me what it is we really want 2 find?
Is the truth really there? or is it right under our hair?
4 all we know its been there all the time.
I say, nothing comes from dreamers but dreams
I say, sitting idle in our boat while everyone else is down the stream
Nothing comes from talkers but sound
We can talk all we want 2, but the world still goes around and round.
Round and round. we go round and round and round.
And what were looking 4 still isnt found
Can u tell me when we gonna get 2 it.
Im tired of fooling around I said I wanna do it. (go 4 it, get 2 it)
I learned my lesson young, I said if want to have fun (go 4 it)
And when u win say, I knew it (go 4 it, get 2 it)
Nothing comes from dreamers but dreams
I say, sitting idle in our boat while everyone else is down the stream
Nothing comes from talkers but sound
We can talk all we want 2, but the world still goes around and round.
Round, round, round, round, round, round
Round and round (get get get get 2 it, go 4 it, get 2 it)
We go round and round and round.
And what were looking 4 still isnt found
1 day Ill make it in the big city
And Ill be looking 4 a girl whos pretty
1 day Ill make a play and she will say ok
cause I plan 2 be a cool kitty
Round and round.
I say, nothing comes from dreamers but dreams
I say, sitting idle in our boat while everyone else is down the stream
Nothing comes from talkers but sound
We can talk all we want 2, but the world still goes around and round.
Round and round. we go round and round and round.
And what were looking 4 still isnt found
Round and round we go. round and round we go.
Round and round and round and round and round and round we go.
Round and round, round and round,
Round and round we go, round and round we go
Round and round.

On A Carousel
The Hollies
On A Carousel
(Allan Clarke, Tony Hicks & Graham Nash)
Single release 1967
Riding along on a carousel,
tryin' to catch up to you
Riding along on a carousel,
will I catch up to you?
Horses chasing
'cause they're racing
So they ain't so far
On a carousel
On a carousel
Nearer and nearer by changing horses,
still so far away
People fighting for their places
just get in my way
Soon you'll leave and then I'll lose you,
still we're going round
On a carousel,
On a carousel
Round and round and round and round and
round and round and round and round with you
Up, down, up, down, up, down, too
As she leaves, she drops the presents
that she won before
Pulling ducks out of the water,
got the highest score
Now's my chance and I must take it,
a case of do-or-die
On a carousel
On a carousel
Round and round and round and round and
round and round and round and round with you
Up, down, up, down, up, down, too
Riding along on a carousel,
trying to catch up to you
Riding along on a carousel,
will I catch up to you?
Now we take our ride together
No more chasing her
On a carousel
On a carousel
On a carousel
{fade out}
On a carousel
On a carousel...

Fugue For The Fox
Call happy calling children are falling
In line to ride on the merry-go-round
People are passing children are laughing
They want to ride on the merry-go-round
Doesn't matter when you came
Every ride is just the same
Do not worry how it's done
There is room for everyone
Carousel turning children are yearning
To ride it forever and never come down
Little one's singing older one's clinging
Everyone riding the merry-go-round
Go round and round and up and down
Round and round they go always reaching for the ring of gold
Never knowing when the music's over they will be old
Call happy calling children are falling
In line to ride on the merry-go-round
People are passing children are laughing
They want to ride on the merry-go-round
Sometimes up and sometimes down
Don't let your feet ever touch the ground
Sometimes right and sometimes wrong
You'll end up where you belong
Sound of their laughter makes the ride faster
Soon the circus stand must come down
Music grows nowhere the ride is over
Say goodbye to the merry-go-round

Love Lays Its Tune
Last night I made love for the first time
She gave me her soul, I surely gave her mine
We lay there just crying with both joy and gloom
The joy of what we had and the pain left
Where love lays its tune
Love tears you down
Oh turns you round
My heart bears the scars of emotional wounds
Im scared so its hard to give myself to you
Hurt builds a wall round our hearts its true
The brave learn to live with the good and bad
Where love lays its tune
Love tears you down
Oh turns you round
Oh I swear Id do anything for you little girl
Nothing stupid or wrong but something
Thatll make me true little girl
Love tears you down
Oh turns you round

Round and round the London Underground
Round and round the London Underground
Interrupted by the braking screeching sounds
Round and round the circle line
The London underground
With its stops is an elongated list
Drunks battle in tunnels with open fists
Hidden somewhere is a network of CCTV Cameras
Recording your every move from afar
Watch out for the picker-pockets, I insist
They swindle even the most experienced tourist
Inside the trains, shine disoriented faces
Bodies usually squeezed into tight spaces
'Please stand clear of the door'
It is an advice not yet a law
Stations by station, trains pass by
Stuck in a tunnel, let out a sigh
Train timetables from my perception
Is regularity, and a common deception
Round and round the London Underground
Interrupted by the braking screeching sounds
Round and round the circle line
Bored, read the metro
It is free, when displayed on show
For those who know
Where to go
Plan your alternative routes
Prepare for train strikes and disputes
Check out the cancellation signs
May your journey be divine!

Gypsy Lou
by Bob Dylan
If you getcha one girl, better get two
Case you run into Gypsy Lou
She's a ramblin' woman with a ramblin' mind
Always leavin' somebody behind.
Hey, 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again.
Well, I seen the whole country through
Just to find Gypsy Lou
Seen it up, seen it down
Followin' Gypsy Lou around.
Hey, 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again.
Well, I gotta stop and take some rest
My poor feet are second best
My poor feet are wearin' thin
Gypsy Lou's gone again.
Hey, gone again
Gypsy Lou's 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's 'round the bend.
Well, seen her up in old Cheyenne
Turned my head and away she ran
From Denver Town to Wichita
Last I heard she's in Arkansas.
Hey, 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Well, I tell you what if you what if you want to do
Tell you what, you'll wear out your shoes
If you want to wear out your shoes
Try and follow Gypsy Lou.
Hey, gone again
Gypsy Lou's 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's 'round the bend.
Well, Gypsy Lou, I been told
Livin' down on Gallus Road
Gallus Road, Arlington
Moved away to Washington.
Hey, 'round the bend
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Well, I went down to Washington
Then she went to Oregon
I skipped the ground and hopped a train
She's back in Gallus Road again.
Hey, I can't win
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Well, the last I heard of Gypsy Lou
She's in a Memphis calaboose
She left one too many a boy behind
He committed suicide.
Hey, you can't win
Gypsy Lou's gone again
Gypsy Lou's gone again
