Kids Words Of Wisdom
Take responsibility
By raising up your hand
Show off your ability
And let them know you can
Try to be positive
By keeping your school clean
I know that you are cognitive
I think you know what I mean
Don't worry just keep trying
You'll get your work done
There's no respect in lying
Especially when you're the one
Stop, think, and act
And put your things away
From K-4th, just stay in tact
Cause you are here to stay
Respect everything
And everyone around you
Doing that soon will bring
Respect that you'll enjoy too
Listen to your teacher
And never ever give up
So you don't wind up weaker
Like others who got stuck
So when you leave this school
This knowledge will be your savior
You'll always remember how it's cool
To always show good behavior
I remembered all these words
From the signs in the hall
They sing to me like awesome birds
In the spring, summer, and fall

Respect, Respect me
Respect, respect me, I say
In every single way
Respect me day by day
Don’t put me down
When we are out and about with people around
Playing me like a fool
Portraying me as one who never went to school
Respect me sweet heart
Till life sets us apart
Respect my needs
Listen and take heed
Respect to me is what means love
And not those commonly spoken words,
‘I love you’
To respect me is to publicly and privately honour me
To respect me is to listen attentively while I speak
To respect me is to bread and butter my desire to be free
To respect me is to stand by me when I am weak
Look up! Look up to me!
I may not be perfect
Nor a genius of an intellect
Respect, respect me & our love will stand erect!

Endurance people stand up or nobody will care
Support brethren for your time is near
Stay focus and be positive
Stay strong and learn to forgive
Don’t end up at the bunt of a knife
Don’t folly for it will end your life
Always remember that you’re a Queen or King
Stay righteous in each and everything
Don’t always take do learn how to give
Make this world a better place for us all to live
Not every tale will be conclusive
Make love your only ulterior motive
Respect your elders and your better half too
Love yourself and others can learn to love you
Never end up as somebody’s mule
Stay in school and be nobody’s fool
Life can be so very cruel
So to the fire don’t add more fuel
Don’t waste you life on a barstool
Pull up your pants and stop trying to be cool
Be noble and remember where you’re from
Be kind to others and respect your dad and mom
Remember to always stay calm
Each day you must chant a psalm
Stop the nonsense for we have all had enough
Pulling your gun doesn’t make you tough
The system is meant to keep us childlike
So remember to think before you strike
Good reasons why Solomon was wise
He never rush into his own demise
Eyes pealed around every corner
Watch your steps or you’ll be a goner
Not too many you can truly trust
Not every journey has to end up in a bust
Remember manners and always say please
If you lay with dogs you rise with flees
Learn how to take a compliment
You can’t always win every argument
Make your life an event
Remember it’s not the words, but its intent
Live your life filled with joy
Never end up as somebody’s toy
People’s lives don’t try to destroy
Life is too short so while you’re here enjoy

A School Is So Not Cool
School Is Not So Cool
School, School, School,
A school is not cool
We're here 5 days a week
8 hours a day.
School, School, School,
A school is not cool.
People laugh when we fall
we just have to make a call.
School, School, School
A school is not cool.
We have to work hard to get good grades
I'm not going to do it no more
I do it every day.
We can’t go on the grass
We can’t bother another class
We can’t save spots at lunch
We have to go as a bunch.
We have 3 minutes in the hall
I'm always late what a ball.
We have to pay attention
if not we get detention.
School, School, School,
A school is not cool.
They have too many rules
they play us as fools
if we get A's
the parents jump Hip Hip Hooray.
If we get F's
we tell them we need to take a rest.
We always have homework
we never have class work
they have to many rules
they need to take it cool.
School, School, School,
A school is so not cool!

Sonnet: Respect
Respect your elders all if they deserve;
Respect your servants too who you well serve;
Respect your father for tilling the soil;
Respect your mother for her love and toil.
Respect all teachers who gave you knowledge;
Respect your friend who saved you from the ledge;
Respect all good minds who advised you good;
Respect the man of God who gave soul’s food.
Respect all strangers who were all Godsends;
Respect your foes who taught you self-defense;
Respect those evil men who you troubled;
Respect the tempter who well you misled.
Respect your conscience which tells you what’s right;
Respect your God who is your Friend and Guide.

Respect Yourself
Refrain:
Respect yourself
Change your mind
Respect yourself
Dont be blind
Respect yourself
And you will see the light
Respect yourself
And you will find your way
So practise what you pray
Dont run away
Respect yourself
Respect yourself
Respect yourself
And you will see the light
1.
If you are feeling weak so deep inside
No place to run, no place to hide
R. E. S. P. E. C. T
Respect your destiny
If you dont know what is right or wrong
If you feel confused and your thoughts are gone
R. E. S. P. E. C. T
Respect yourself, be free
2.
Dont care about what people say
Believe in yourself and go your own way
Respect - no resignation
Leave the path of isolation
Dont care about what people say
R.E.S.P.E.C.T , will never get away
Today, we stay, and pay attention anyway
Fairplay, everyday dont run away
3.
You dont know, no, what you dont know
Like the colours of the rainbow
Respect is the name of the game
Respect yourself and you never miss your aim
If you gonna show weakness
You gotta let them know
You dont know, no, what you dont know
If you really wanna grow, say no just go

A Question Of Honor
I respect, another mans religion, or color or creed.
I respect, and follow, the will of my maker.
I respect, the truth, no matter how unpopular.
I respect, a good work ethic.
I respect, the values on which this country was founded.
I respect, those who would champion the under privileged.
I respect, those of differences, who seek common ground.
I respect, the concept of monogamy.
I respect, those faithful to principal.
I respect, change, that is for the better.
I respect, an honest days work.
I respect, the great talents of the entertainment world.
I respect, thought provoking works, of the written word.
I respect, the unquenchable thirst of creativity.
I respect, the farmers and workers that toil in the field.
I respect, the good in man.
I respect, the virtue in woman.
I respect, the innocence of children.
I respect, the generosity of mankind.
Most of all...I respect the maker of
life and the love, that each of us
have within us.

No Respect
Respect,
Always everybody looking for some
Respect,
Who do you think youre gonna get it from
Respect,
Anybody here deserving of none
Respect,
Tell me what makes you think
Youre not the one
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
No respect, no respect none
Respect,
Why be concerned with
Public adulation
Respect,
Pat on the back crying
For attention
Respect,
Finding out what it really
Means to me
Respect,
Honor comes only after
Humility

Respect Sows Peace
Do not restrict respect
to age because someone is old
show real respect to all
but respect most
heart motivation
of people worthy
of that respect.
Respect is given
respect is earned
respect enriches
respect ennobles
graces civilization
elevates humanity
sows seeds of peace.

Stay In School
Stay in school, don't be a fool
A dropout gets left out
A dropout gets pushed out
Show me your name, what does it mean
Show me your ring, you're in the scene
Without an education there is no beginning
With education you are winning
Stay in school, student maintain your cool
It's so hard to get a job now days
Without education just be on your way
Show me your car, what does it prove?
Show me youe diploma, you're in the groove
You don't have to be smart to finish school
But you are a square if you are not there
Dropout, you can start back
Students that are in school
You are on the right track
You can stand around the corner
Watching the school bus go by
You know deep down inside you want to cry
It is good to stop drinking
It is good to stop smoking
When you are thinking about stopping your education
My friend you better start thinking

Show Some Respect
(t. britten, s. shifrin)
Producer: terry britten
Album: private dancer (84)
I made a resolution and I plan to keep my work
But I need you to make it work
Youve got to read the message, understand whats on my mind
Cause not to see would be a crime
And we could lose it anytime
Weve got to show some respect
Weve got to learn to protect
Dont take it for granted, I know
That if you want to stay close
Weve got to show some respect
But I believe in working, then I believe in a little help
Cause Im not a light unto myself
Without a thing of value, why settle for second best
We dont know whats up ahead
And we cant let ourselves forget
Weve got to show some respect
Weve got to learn to protect
Dont take it for granted, I know
That if you want to stay close
Weve got to show some respect
For the things that I love about you
From the woman that you see inside
Dont let it walk out the door
Love follows everytime

Respect Is What You Earn Not Command
Respect is what you earn not command
That is something some find hard to understand
You earn respect if respect you do show
From people in your life you've come to know
Of Respect or lack of we do read of and hear
Though 'tis a thing that cannot be born of fear
Of somebody who has power over you
In your feigned respect your feelings are not true.
Many may respect and admire the high achievers of the town
And applaud them on their journey to renown
But with the many some do disagree
Through different eyes we see things differently.
Respect is something you can only show
For one that you feel privileged for to know
And of any shackles true respect is free
That's how it is and that's how 'twill always be.
