A Significant Role to Play

Remaining humble,
And remaining subservient...
Are entirely two different positions.

To know oneself,
Regardless of the condition...
And keeping that which is valued true,
Under any circumstance.
A humbleness is shown and given.

On the other hand,
Someone subservient...
Has accepted a life without identity.
And like a child who is told is cute...
Never comprehends the responsibility of adulthood.
And is more than glad to have needs met,
Without exerting any effort at all if this is possible!

Ambition does not exist with someone who is subservient.
Ambition is all that exists for someone humbled,
By an acknowledgement of any achievement considered accomplished.
Someone subservient achieves one thing...
An ability that is taught how to leech and keep docile.
And in the recruiting of others,
Is given special treatment or a significant 'role' to play.

Spineless

I won't see my dear friends as much
Male friends especially, I'll no longer be in touch
I'll change my hobbies to match yours
I'll stop reading my favorite books
I won't spend all this selfish time alone
I'll cater to you and hang on your every word
I'll be subservient and spineless
I'll lick your boots as empty shells
I'll be opinion less and silent
I'll be the prettiest appendage to ever lose herself
I'll re-define self-sacrifice
Live my life as apologetic compromise
I'll know you need if I rock the boat
I'll be subservient and spineless
I'll lick your boots as empty shells
I'll be opinion less and silent
I'll be the prettiest appendage to ever lose herself
I feel this, truly proclaimed will help the curbing of this tendency
I'll be low maintenance and agreeable
I will not talk about my dreams so much
I'll listen to you for hours, won't need anything
I'll be subservient and spineless
I'll lick your boots as empty shells
I'll be opinion less and silent
I'll be the prettiest appendage to ever lose herself
I'll be subservient and spineless
I'll lick your boots as empty shells
I'll be opinion less and silent
I'll be the prettiest appendage to ever lose herself
I feel this, truly proclaimed will help the curbing of this tendency
I know this sharing of shame will ensure that I won't forget myself so easily

Not Filled With Depictions Of Angst

There are those who state,
My writing for them is not 'ethnic' enough.
It is not filled with depictions of angst!
Or emotionally committed to keep attached,
To that sought embittered foaming at the mouth.
Like others who look about to remain,
In limitations.

And I have never sought to make excuses,
To live a life I've been blessed to be given.
And many who are disappointed by their existence...
I've never felt cursed to be denied by those wicked.
Those wishing to sell me negativity!
I don't keep myself sold on that.

I've never wished to use my ethnicity...
As a means to gain sympathy,
With beliefs to accpet I was born subservient.
And to this day I can not perceive,
To whom subservient I would be.
I've never invested my time to accept...
'I am better than you are business.'

Self Determination

A self determination,
Could be applied more effectively...
If those hired to oversee communities,
Found their jobs to leech elsewhere.
And left those qualified to do it...
To inspired themselves,
With their own wishes and ideals.
This would be much more appealing,
Than having outsiders,
Decide and choose the fates of others.
However...
Keeping those subservient,
Has benefits for many.

Even In Times When The Signs Are Vivid

Tricked by slick divisionists,
A people stripped of their identity...
Can not ascend from knees taught to bend,
While begging for forgiveness of sins committed.
After being shown how to recognize and submit to them.
They, them and disinterested others,
Are lost and afraid to live their lives.
Finding themselves trapped.
And eyes on others to despise.

Even in times when the signs are vivid,
They remain blind.
Too many accept and have been told to believe,
There is a dignity in suffering.
And a reward received,
For doing it.
By those who ensure they stay just where they are!
Subservient and dependent.
Abused to amuse and needy.

How Are you Going to Explain That...

While you took all this time,
To undermind me...
To have me found as subservient?
The system you valued has crumbled!
How are you going to explain 'that'
As my creation?
When you've spent every moment,
Of your existing duration...
Defending your right to fail!
And I have never been accused,
Of being incompetent!

No Disparities Seen

If one grows accustomed to a joke,
And lives it as if...
That's the only reality lived they know.
And it is.
By what they show and choose to believe.
And surrounding themselves they do,
With jesters!
To uphold such valued standards!

It is a life felt that feels most comfortable.

Those opposing 'this' reality,
Are the ones oppressed and made to fear.
Made to become subservient.
Although they are the ones,
Closer to the truth...
Of all creation!
And their lives are despised.
Otherwise there would be no disparities seen.

Subservient, Submissive...And, Conditioned

She placed her boots on my back!
And I deserved that.
I felt comforted,
To hear the crack of her whip.
She had 'it'.
And I was more than happy,
To be subservient, submissive...
And, conditioned!

'Say it! Say it again...
Who's your mama? '

Pitter - Pat into Darkness...by Talile Ali

To many visions
My impending death
I haven't been quite right since I turned
Every year is another marker without breath

What a waste
Time is an itch
I have to sit around
And witness, OK?

Whats there?
Witness genius as it gleams
That's all about
It ain't what It seem's

What a thing
Look at all of the wonder at play
The shapes and dreams
Contributing in every significant way

My dreams
Your dreams
Everybody's dreams
Dreams

There are so many multi verses
There is so much to life
So many planes
So many existences

Living and being
Being is the real freedom
What happens in that being
Predictable balance

Loving is
The maximum high
Work if the maximum reflection of love
The more you love, the more you are

Compelled to work
To create, to contribute
To be real
Pitter - pat into darkness

There is always a mist of awareness
The individuals passion play
Divinity is always ridged
Understanding is alway's

Subservient
Without giving any of it's
Power
A way

Interpretations

They are not poor.
They are triumphant in re-enacting 'lack'!
They are not ignorant.
They have chosen to stay away from knowledge.
And that seems to be a fact!

They are not lazy.
They choose to receive,
And 'give' that perception.
They are far from subservient,
But welcome it as a form of reception.

They have been freed to do as they please,
And leave interpretations to others
Who pay to be entertained by these sights...
Never keeping conversations dull,
For those who dwell with such druthers.

They know this!
And that is why everyone pays.
Whether we are amused or not...
By these admissions.
